My experience was the same as so many before me.
Was booked for 1pm to 3pm.
When I rang 3.30pm was told of problems.their would ring back and defenitly still come that day never rang,never showed.I rang twice that day.same excuses,when I rang,next morning,more excuses,more promises.all day wasted.no one came.no one rang to keep me update.on the 3rd day their started the same way,by which time I had enough.
Also,their still use the trick of having different prize online from what their then quote.
I could have been just unlucky.
But when I go on trust-pilot.I read the same story over and over again.
This can not be just bad luck.

Booked for a same day callout and was given 2-4pm slot. No one showed up. Called to ask for an update and was told someone would call back. No one called back. Kept calling. Eventually it was explained that the engineer was fixing a gas leak and might not be with me till 6pm. Called again at 6pm and was told I'd have to rearrange for the next day. Booked 9-11am slot the next morning. The engineer did not come. Called numerous times to ask for an update. Was told that the engineers were busy with priorities/emergency leaks, which were prioritised above my booking. The customer service assistant was very polite and friendly, but the company should not take new bookings unless they have the resources or systems to deal with them. It was all a shambles and I kept being given false information which initially meant I didn't try and find an alternative engineer. Do not recommend.

My husband found the company a rip off. They came to mend our tank for the hot water they change the element and said it was OK. When my husband tried the water it was still cold they came back and said it was the timer gone. They said they be back in the morning between 9 and 11 never turned up. My husband made about ten calls before they said they would be back Saturday. I would definitely tell everybody not to use this company. And when they change the element it was over £400 pounds what a rip off

Responsive, professional service at a fair price. This do-it-yourself homeowner was highly impressed with the knowledge and experience of the technician that was sent to repair an emergency Sunday hose bib breakage. This company was very upfront about the increased Sunday repair rate/cost and even suggested waiting until Monday. I appreciate the honesty and workmanship.

Quoted us £389 + VAT i.e. £466 to replace a toilet syphon (with a bit of dismantling due to hidden cistern). Obviously we refused this but still had to pay an £85 call out fee for a 10 minute visit. Book through an individual local plumber instead.

I booked a plumber to arrive the next day at 10 -12. After spending my weekend morning waiting no one showed. I then rang to discover that they had not booked the job due to an error on their end. Very disappointing service, would not re use.

From turning up over a day and 3 hours late to charging almost £500 for a job that is advertised on their site as costing £70, I fear this firm is hugely disreputable. They used my credit card details without permission for the payment, didn't respond to emails, didn't call me back, didn't turn up again when scheduled to or call to rearrange and generally behaved extremely badly. I wish I had read the reviews before booking them. Do Not Book.

I had a blocked drain and saw a £75 plus VAT deal on Plunger website. However when i spoke to someone on the phone they said it would be £120 plus VAT. When i mentioned the deal they said they knew nothing about it but suddenly a deal appeared that was £85 plus VAT. I decided to go with them and was given a 12-2 window. I called at 2 to see how long they would be and i was told they were running 1-2 hours late. I also asked whether they would be honouring the deal on their website which states they pay £5 for every minute they are late up to £50. The lady on the phone again knew nothing of this and said i should discuss it with the engineer. I checked i was definitely talking to Plunger and had the correct website which was confirmed by the lady. I called again at 4 and was told it was still going to be 30-40 mins. No one had arrived by 5 so i called again a few times as no one answered for a while but eventually was told 20 mins at the latest. Still no one at 6 and they said they would definitely be there in 30 mins. It was only at this late stage i looked at the reviews (A foolish error, must do research beforehand!!) and found other situations like mine. Bad communication, no shows and over charging. At 6.30 i called and they said still on the way, It was now Friday evening i decided to cancel. but an engineer still called and said he'd be with me at 7.30pm. Pretty bad all round.

I contacted them as my 92 year old mother's flush would not work.They quoted £110, but when the plumber came (who was nice enough)I had to speak to someone on the phone who implied that it was a much bigger job and quoted me £560.00. I agreed as I thought the whole toilet had to be dismantled (which it didn't). I also asked for a new toilet seat (which I didn't get). The plumber came the next day with a part that cost less than £30-fixed the problem in half an hour and tightened up the wobbly toilet seat without dismantling the whole unit. When I questioned the amount, 'Scott' said he would get back to me-he didn't. I sent numerous emails which he did not reply to.When he finally agreed to speak to me, he agreed to reduce the price to £339+VAT but never refunded the difference. To make matters worse, the plumber left the cistern leaking, which poured into the flat below. I again contacted 'Scott' and after many attempts to get through to him, he agreed to look at the photos I had sent him and said that it looked like an old leak to him, which was hardly the case as the water was pouring into the flat below when I arrived at my mother's flat. Needless to say, he has not replied to any of my emails regarding the leak, so we will also have to pay for the redecoration of the flat below. We did not get any kind of receipt so were unable to stop the payment on Barclaycard as we had no evidence. I am writing this review as I would hate anyone else to get as ripped off as we did. Do not use this plumbing firm!If I could give 0 stars I would!
