Absolutely shocking twice I have…
Absolutely shocking twice I have arranged to have my boiler serviced and on two occasions they have not turned up. This despite receiving texts telling me they would be coming at the arranged date.
The first occasion I said I would be available any day except a Thursday. To which they duly arranged for the visit for a Thursday. Of course, I had to go through the rigmarole of having to re contact them this was done and the Wednesday was agreed, received text to confirm this. You are given a 10-HOUR window in which they can turn up. As a pensioner I had to wait for the 10 HOURS. I had to recontact them, whilst I did speak to somebody It was like speaking to somebody in a tin can. An engineer did then contact me with the platitudes that this has never happened before he was extremely apologetic and asked to rearrange a time and date which I did, fortunately I was given a five-hour window. Guess what, they did not turn up despite sending a text at 7.00am this morning. I shudder to think where I would be in an emergency if they can’t even keep to a simple arrange time. PlusHeat take my money every month and I have to do the chasing. 15 Hours of my life wasted and still no boiler service. If I want to cancel the contract, they will insist that I pay for the twelve-month contract. I feel I’ve been scammed

James was helpful on the phone, and will hopefully sort out a date for our boiler service. However, the system for booking is confusing as it requested suitable dates from me but the booked me in twice on dates I cannot do!
Have always sorted my issues.
I contacted them as my yearly renewal was pretty high and I was thinking of changing. The person I talked to was very helpful and gave me a more reasonable quote. So I am now staying with them.
