The PCH staff are good for nothing.
I've been complaining about my dysfunctional neighbor's antisocial behavior for almost a year, and they've done absolutely nothing about it.
Perhaps the problem is that I'm not a British citizen and they don't seem very sympathetic to immigrants.

i know the people running plymouth community homes,i went on my computer thusrday morining to put a bid on ley park court,what is sheltered accommodation,other times i have bided on here,i had no problems,this time i did,the woman was rude ,and out of order,and did not want to help me get my dream home soon,and she was condescending me,i started to get upset on the phone with her,try my best to hold my self together on the phone,Simply unprofessional housing association i have ever come across in my life,they did to go back to the classroom,and learn how to talk to people,with out making them small,and taking ones Pride away from them,i have told my support worker,about this matter,and,my housing officer,they were in a meeting today,and that person the way the person chat to me,they were not very happy the fact is they offered the flat to someone new and not me,and i have been trying for short while now,go and send a boy to do a mans job,and they are Not running a good ship there aswell,trading standards uk needs to look into this,and this a CAB matter now,and my solicitors to clear my name,so it is not mud,they have scared me away from carry on to bid with this company and furture bids with this company,i have done nothing wrong,or said nothing wrong here,i just cryed more,and got more upset,and nearly had to call for a aberlance for help and support,what comes around,goes around,i have seen the bad reveiws,and it is very worrying for me,and for other people biding to have a new place to live,and a fresh start in life,and my case needs to go to the Housing Ombudsman aswell,people need more support,and help when it comes to bidding on a place,more so with Plymouth Community Homes,sign of the times.

After 18 months of people injecting hroin, smoking crck, dealing drugs, and smoking cnnbis in communal areas, I have reported it week in, week out, month in, month out to Plymouth Community Homes.

This has included multiple occasions where 999 had to be called after witnessing active injections in the stairwell.

Alongside the drug activity, there has been repeated fly tipping, ongoing antisocial behaviour, poorly maintained communal grounds, and unresolved complaints regarding neighbouring properties causing persistent and significant odour issues. All of this has been formally reported.

On 18 November 2025, I submitted an extremely extensive evidence bundle dating back to September 2024 when the log began. This was not a brief complaint. It was a detailed body of documentation including incident logs, written statements, time-stamped videos, photographs, dates, times, repeated patterns of behaviour, and recorded escalation points over a 14-month period.

We have a two-year-old daughter who uses those stairwells daily with her mother.

Today, I was informed that none of it constitutes a safeguarding concern because it does not meet Plymouth Community Homes’ policy thresholds.

In response to the section addressing drug use and antisocial behaviour, Plymouth Community Homes stated:

“While I recognise the distress caused by the behaviour reported, the actions taken were consistent with our policy obligations and the limits of landlord enforcement powers, particularly where individuals were not confirmed as tenants of the block.”

And:

“On this basis, I have found no evidence of service failure.”

That is the response after 18 months of documentation.

Policy compliance has been prioritised over lived reality. There has been no human element, no reasonable person test, and no practical explanation of how residents are expected to navigate repeated Class A drug use in communal stairwells, recurring fly tipping, unmanaged antisocial behaviour, and ongoing environmental issues within shared spaces.

We remain in exactly the same position as before the investigation began.

CCTV is “monitoring.”
Police meetings are “attended.”
Evidence is “gathered.”

But to what end?

What mitigates the risk tomorrow morning? What practical safeguard exists beyond retrospective monitoring?

The case has now been escalated to the Housing Ombudsman.

The clips shared represent only a fraction of what has been documented over the past 18 months.

This is not about drama. It is about accountability.

At present, what has been demonstrated is adherence to policy, not protection of residents.

Simply unprofessional housing association. Amateurs and really a expression of what Plymouth means,an ex convicts area. Dodgy city. Stay away from southwest.

PCH's priority is to make excuses instead of addressing the issues caused by problematic tenants.

Repairs. And home not Suitable for disabled person and you’re just left Devon home so far behind they don’t care

PCH. They are not fit for purpose. I have mice running all over the worktops and over my bed. Sent pest control only to tell them no they cant put poison down as i have dogspch new this and still sent them out. Trying to get a bungalow due to all the steps on my property,not able to put ramp in garden and i was told I have to be disabled and on PIP\dla. Told her I was not on it and she looked me up and down looking for my disability!!! I reported her to PCH yet nothing was done. They have now put age limit to 60 on bungalows when i am only 52, So got PIP only to be told they wont put me through for a bungalow as its age limit 60. Even though I have PIP they still wont move me, however they have helped the above tenant move while it was her abusing my dogs and music on high and banging all the time. Yet it seems they have got me as the antisocial neighbour!! They told me to go on home swapper to move that way... I told them, I cant do that with all the mice in the flat, I said my morals would not allow me to, but they just said you cant think like that and its the only way. So they are more then happy to let me move and let some poor sod move into my mouse infested flat. Shocking!!

Terrible company They do nothing about antisocial behavior. They’ve allowed me to be bullied by a terrible bunch of neighbors who have caused me so much trauma and illness. The neighbors are noisy, aggressive, intimidating, physically, aggressive, intrusive, and bullies and despite evidence Plymouth Community Homes have done nothing for us. The Repairs section is not good either. I think they all stick together and once you make a complaint about them, they don’t help you anymore. The reason you make a complaint about them it’s because they do nothing and allow you to be bullied by antisocially behaving neighbours,
But they still take your rent.they couldn’t care less if you live or die as long as they get their rent. Despite knowing we have health conditions due to the bullying, they still do nothing. I cannot think of words to express how awful they are Lorraine Oliver in particular. The police do not seem to do anything either they all seem to stick together. you become a nuisance from making complaints against bullying

Recently purchased a shared ownership home through Plymouth community homes / so living. Cathy was amazing, she was so patient and great with our children whilst she showed us around the house. She made us feel at home straight away.
On completion, she left us some essential groceries, a bouquet of flowers and a lovely card - a gesture which we really appreciated. As first time buyers, the process seemed daunting at first, but was incredibly straight forward, everything was explained clearly and the whole process has been stress free. We would recommend buying a shared ownership property through Plymouth community homes to anyone.

repeatedly failing to sort out noise complaints against there tennents. Failing to respond to emails with videos of decible readings from the noise. This is negligence which will result in legal action against them

Who are they who they run by there is no real information of who they are community homes about us it tells you noting what charity are the run by bunch of freemasons I bet lining there own pockets with the mps hush hush do what you are told and comply who are they ?

Plymouth community homes nothing but disappointing. When you want something done they take ages or they keep on saying they are waiting for report. I still waiting for my garden to be done that was report 2yrs ago and they still haven't done it... repairs team customer services is poor. And if you do put in a complaint nothing is done about it. Most of the workers there, don't know how to do there job properly. I did think this was a good Council but not anymore. They are all the same. Just want your money and not do anything.

I was recently working for PCH via a agency, at first all was well, then more and more work was added to my day, covering for other staff members who were absent. on Monday of this week I had a bit of a meltdown due to being menopausal, I was sent home and told to return when I was better, I stayed home the following day because I was tired from lack of sleep the night before and informed the line manager that I would return to work the next day, I was told that it was ok. later that day I had a call from the agency I work through telling me that I was no longer required at PCH.

Allowed to be abused they do nothing do help they help the DRUGGIES and help the the neigh ours who are causing hate crime if your good person they come for you they are a corrupt outfit who help the freemasons they are full of freemasons scabbing houses from the poor for the freemasons in this street no help at all allowed to abuse the elderly its sick

One experience with these arrogant people (No idea what they have to be arrogant about ) which affected me the most is to do with their gardeners/hedge cutters who believe them selves to be far superior to us plebians. No problems for years when the council cut grass and hedges. Once pch took over you were lucky to get your hedge cut once a year and the people sent to do it have been rude, aggressive and lazy. Blew up with me when they finally turned up a couple of years ago to cut my front hedge. you were lucky to get one cut a year even though they charge the council for two. Beside the hedge much lower down is a hedgehog house. It isn't a part of it. Had them live in it for years. Like a big pile of leaves and grass i add to. I prewarned them and they had no business touching it but got the usual look of disdain by a group of unkempt men f'ing and blinding as usual. They ignored me and deliberately (not part of hedge and only around 2 ft tall) began cutting off the top of the leaf and grass pile with an electric trimmer. Was deliberate as i had only just 5 mins before told them to leave it alone. It's also illegal to disturb their habitat. One said something about them being vermin. I ran down because of course the shock as they know would kill them. Ran out and did shout 'your'e a t w a t. Because they were and they were grinning as it was funny to them. They swear all the time. He looked at me and carried on. Found out after he had in fact killed them. I reported it to pch and our local hedgehog people who were furious. I made a complaint right away and i presume they were spoken to right away via phone as they became more aggressive. I should point out i'm an over 60 female on my own at the time and this was a group of three or four big rough men.

That night i went out about 4 hours later when it became a bit dark and found a 20 year old budlia bush that was around 10-15ft tall and lovely had been sawn off at the roots. Nobody else would have done it. Nobody else after all those years would have suddenly come into my garden and cut down some random plant. very thick that would have needed an electric cutter or big saw. cut to above 3 inches above the ground.

I then within days got a letter complaining i had called them t w a t s. They called me far worse on the day. I emailed the housing officer telling her what had happened and that they had deliberately broken the law. that they were aggressive and bullying and that one of them had entered my garden and sawn down the buddhlia not long afterwards. I was never responded to. I emailed twice more and no response. totally ignored. You are if you dare make a complaint about any of their staff. Their word is taken automatically. Not long after that, after decades of living here with no problems the gardeners of course began from that day on putting in complaint after complaint. It moved to the garden itself. They complained about cat poop and refused to cut the grass. I have no cat that goes in my garden (I have a 15 year old indoor cat who has never in her life been outside and they threatened via letter to make me get rid of her. That would have been over my dead body and i invited them to take me to court and see what a court said. They're full of nothing but threats) and if any cat poop would be from other peoples animals. I searched the garden and in the whole 45ft long area found 3 old pieces which i removed. The harrassment continued and pch continued to this day to not respond. I knew what it was all about. Nothing happened until the day i made the complaint re hedgehogs and their actions. Ended up with me having to cancel gardening assistance which is what they wanted. They got what they wanted. I didn't know who to go to outside of pch. They don't respond to complaints if it is about one of their people so no point going to them. I have a 45ft garden and am on highest care dla and can only cut the top third with some difficulty. Horrible horrible, arrogant people who think anyone living in one of their homes is a disgusting piece of filth to be ignored.

Another experience is that my 45ft garden is heavily sloped. Unlike every other property i have no path, no steps and no washing line. The washing line i can see would be my responsibility but not a path and steps to be able to use the very sloped garden. I have fallen more than once and did mention it after said event but again upon requesting a path/steps for my safety as i cannot go in the garden in winter as is too slippery i have never received a response. They're a law unto themselves but with the path etc i will be contacting the ombusdman responsible. i have given them fair warning and if i fall again i will certainly take action.
I've lived here for nearly 30 years and only had these problems since i complained about the gardeners. This is bullying at best and a temper tantrum at worst. They carried on charging the council for my gardening for months

If I could give no stars I would because I feel one star is too much and inaccurate. Left Repairs undone,Causing damage to my flooring and washing machine and never got back to me to correct it. Never responded to emails or phone calls. Also have left me in a situation of antisocial behavior where I’m being abused on a pretty much daily basis and they’re doing nothing about it and not even responding to me. I agree with the other comments that they are liars and they are an absolute disgrace
