I started to receive text messages a few times a week in May from the number 65808, I have only just realised I have been charged £4 per text sent to me despite not replying. I called three who gave me a number to call, I was then directed to someone at pmconnect where’s they informed me I had subscribed to 3pointertv which as far as I can see is a youtube channel for basketball which I definitley hadn’t done. When I asked for a refund they said they can offer me 4 weeks refund of up to £16 although I have been charged between £40-£50 over the past 2 months. I have been given an email address to complain to and hopefully receive a full refund but I don’t understand how this is legal?
My 2 year old managed to sign up for a £4 a week service for NBA updates. Ive had to question how this is actually possible and the more I learn, the more I’m horrified this is legal. For how much longer that is the question. The amount of vulnerable people/children this type of scam must snare must be astronomical. I have raised a complaint with the regulator.
I just had message from you and I don't know how or why as i don't use your service
Scammers. I didnt respond in anyway to an unsolicited txt msg and received a £3 a week charge for something called Demon games.
As i use a contract phone that never changes amount I don't need to keep checking my usage so only noticed the charges after my bill went up by £12, with it being a week into the next month an additional £3 had been added making £15 total.
O2 claim they can only stop future charges and can do nothing about the existing charges.
In order to complain about unwanted charges to my mobile contract PM connect want me to give them my phone number to receive a pin to sign into the website. So the company that used my number without my consent to steal money from me want me to give them phone details? No thank you.
Complete scam. They advised that I clicked on a banner which 'subscribed' me to a service that they decided to the charge a weekly fee for. I had never created an account, clicked on a banner, subscribed to a service or had any dealings with this company and yet they manage to take money from me. They also ignore all emails sent to them for a refund. Avoid.
I found unexpected charges of £24 + VAT on my o2 monthly bills over a 2 month period. When I looked at the details there were payments to DEMON GAMES.
I am a 62 year old who had looked online for games for my 4 year old grandson. We did not play any games and at no point did I know or appreciate that somehow I had subscribed to a chargeable service.
o2 are taking my money and asking me to chase the scumbags who they are passing it on to, I expect after taking their cut.
Ask your supplier to ensure that you do not subscribe to any unwanted chargeable services.
I have refused their paltry refund offer and intend to get a full refund.
This jokers managed to get their direct debit added to my o2 bill. apparently I accepted a contract with them on a pop up which was spam.
Complained to them and the complaints procedure is set to frustrate you and make you give up
When they tell you they won't refuse to return your money ask for their final decision in writing and then go to the psauthority.org.uk.
I got a full refund as a gesture of good will...
Bounce games/ pm connect, are a scam company. They claim users click on subscribe and then unless you reply to a msg they send they will take £2.50 a week from you regardless of any transaction or purchased games. £220 over 2 years added on to my EE account. This scam is known by mobile provider for several years. Why wasn't I warned about this when I purchased contract from EE. Taking these thieves to small claims court.
There ad just appears on your phone and if you click on it you automatically subscribe to membership so don't even try to press the small x on the top corner of the screen just incase you subscribe by mistake then without entering any bank details your are automatically a member and if you have set up a direct debit with your network provider mobile phone contract etc they will take £12.00 off you a month until you phone or text them to stop to unsubscribe. Your network provider will take no blame for giving your details to this 3rd party company and tell you to contact PM CONNECT directly to get a refund and good luck getting a refund. NAME AND SHAME THIS COMPANY
I haven't clicked links or subscribed to any games yet Demon Games owned by this company have via my mobile company, charged me £30. I will be taking this all the way for a refund.
Despicable company scamming customers.
Absolute scam. Fruadsters. Charging me for somthing i didnt sign up for. Called them twice. They have an answer machine service which after 2 minutes of talk time says there is a technical fault please call back.
Reporting them to my mobile provider.
This Company is a scam. Charged me £2.50 a week without my consent. When I complained, they blamed it on me. Eventually contacted PSA who advised PM Connect have been investigated previously due to high number of complaints. PM Connect have agreed with the PSA to provide a full refund to all eligible customers. If this company has scammed you, don't give up until you get ALL your money back, and use the PSA / Small Claims court if you have to.
They are a disgrace.
Dunno why ppl complain, me and my mates all subscribe to their WWE mobile club because we get sick of adverts...their club is OK but needs more of the classic stuff from 80s! Undertaker etc.
