Couldn’t be more careless unprepared and rude. Told them i needed stuff dissembled as was pregnant when booking which was guna cost extra. I paid the extra but the people who came had no idea of it and when they rang the boss he said do it but its not written down here. They were obviously pissed off threw things about while doing the job swearing constantly( i was even helping with the moving as felt so uncomfortable) (top floor flat) They also left an unflushed shit in the toilet for me to clean just to spite for the mistake of there boss. When unpacking so much stuff got damaged. I had loads of furniture from my nan who hadn’t long passed away and was very saddened to see the lack of care.
Didn’t ask where we wanted anything either at the new place just chuckled it in and couldn’t wait to leave. Wont ever be using again and if you like your belongings you will avoid at all costs.

The worst moving experience ever. Apart from the lack of respect handling our goods and the numerous breakages that we are still coming across as we unpack, one of the guys abandoned the van with all our worldly goods in a hedge in Weston super Mare and quit his job in the middle of our move. Luckily the van had a tracker and by late evening a crew had recovered it and were unloading our furniture and belongings at about 10 pm. Probably the most stressful day of our lives. The job had also been under- estimated and they couldn’t fit everything into two vans. One guy returned the next day with some of the remaining items from our garden but many were sadly left behind at the old property. It is 3 weeks since the move and we still haven’t received any apology or compensation from the company despite communicating directly with the owner. Absolutely appalling service.

What can I say about these amazing guys they have been fantastic, nothing was too much trouble from the beginning to the end of a very difficult move.
I strongly recommend them and if we ever moved again I would be calling SIMPLY MOVES.

If you want the job done with a modicum of care and attention, run by someone who has no clue of what customer service is then these are your guys…


Half of our furniture and brand new leather sofa got scratched, damaged, bruised and broken.

Upon raising the issue, by sending the pictures of the damaged items straight away, they did not even want to acknowledge any of it but the fact that we were pressuring the movers by taking pictures of the damages while they were still here. The person who we were talking was very offensive to my wife calling her pushy, picky and demanding - just because we expected our furniture to arrive safely??!! He also did not send the moving starter kit on time even though requested 4 weeks before the moving (btw, it’s not 30 boxes as he advertises before you pay your deposit), never advised on the time of the movers arrival and had the audacity to question us for email him for the time on a Sunday.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, disrespectful and offensive. Despite our belongings were ‘insured’ we did not get any compensation, as according to him we couldn’t prove that all our furniture got damaged in the moving.
We are honest and hard working people and we were looking forward to moving into our first own home for 7 months and these people completely ruined the experience.
Pls do yourself a favor, pay a bit more and chose someone - ANYONE else.

Complete and utter waste of space. We were due to move last Friday, at the eleventh hour that is on Thursday TEXTED (not even the decency to call me) to say a truck had broken down so could not complete the verbal contract that I had taken out with them they left us in the lurch and caused us a lot of anxiety. Given that they seem to own half of Hambrook I cant understand how a broken down truck could be a problem any company worth their salt would have got another to replace it so as to not let a customer down at such short notice. It is my belief that a bigger order came along so they had no qualms in letting me down and putting money before me.

The owners run the company from Spain. They seem to underquote the job prior to signing the contract, then enforce a price increase on the day when sending insufficient vehicles to remove all belongings. That was our experience. Also, having claimed in the contract to belong to the National Guild of Movers and Storers (with the protection that includes) when we needed that external help, we found they did not in fact belong to them, and are not therefore required to adhere to their code of conduct. Furthermore, I needed to take legal action to get my belongings back, which were held at hostage unless we paid even more money to them. When our things were finally returned, some things were missing, and there was damage to some furniture items. Please note that on Google, the company reviews appear good. I would imagine that most negative reviews are being removed via one method or another.

I also have a County Court Judgement against them

Stole large amount of goods and damaged others and refused to give them back

The current Director claims to live in Spain ( you can get his name via Google search on the Company)

I doubt the numerous advertised offices exist

Booked through their video service. Paid deposit and then they cancelled the day before I was supposed to move and then never heard anything more from them. Feel like I've been robbed.

Cancelled my move 1week before moving day and I still haven’t received my deposit back. They won’t answer the phone.

Nightmare - Swindon company promised to dismantle & reassemble furniture (and I paid extra) then changed there mind & cancelled my removal completely 7 days before completion.

Absolutely horrendous experience, they don't deserve one star but that the lowest you can give. This company let us down two days before our move even though they had taken our 50% deposit and confirmed the week before we were due to move they would pack us on the Thursday and move us on the Friday. How this company director sleeps at night I have no idea. Shameful, knowing he had let an elderly infirm couple down at the last minute and then had the audacity to blame us. If you are looking at removals companies, you are strongly advised to look elsewhere as this company are totally shocking at every level. Avoid at all cost.

If you want the job doing quickly, then these are your guys. If you want the job doing with a modicum of care and attention, run by someone who has a grasp of what customer service is then I would go elsewhere.
The lads who did the job were nice enough but the way they reassembled our furniture was laughable and in places dangerous (my 4 year-olds bed missing numerous bolts). It was apparently my fault for not providing a list of the furniture to be moved ahead of time. I hold my hand up as I had not provided this list, but I did email twice ahead of time to check if there was anything I needed to do and a list was not requested. Broken glasses due to poor packing, all furniture with bumps and scrapes. The old adage goes, 'if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys' and these guys sum it up perfectly.
Pay a bit extra and get a decent company to help you move.

Utter bunch of halfwits who don’t understand ‘handle with care’

Horrific experience and customer service, used them for a 3rd time however suddenly have been awful!! Second hand boxes (despite paying for boxes), rude team, broke my TV and then claimed they shouldn’t have moved it, won’t pay or even respond to my email, drove off with my items without permission...do I even need to go on? Avoid at all costs if you value your time, your stuff and your dignity!

Bloody terrible firm. Had removals book with them deposit paid, 3 weeks before the removals date they informed me they are cancelled the job!! Useless and I will be taking this further

We booked Simply Removals for our move last Thursday. Our removal men were Sean and Rob who arrived promptly as expected.
They worked tirelessly all day until our removal was complete. Nothing was too much trouble for them and nothing was perceived as a problem by them.
When our enthusiasm waned they remained cheerful and upbeat and kept us smiling.
We cannot thank them enough.
Although we do not anticipate moving again we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

AVOID AVOID !!! If I could give zero I would this company are a disgusting example for a removal company I’ve been trying to get insurance details from them for over a year they claim the company don’t exist anymore yet here they are on google they sent Ben and Ben to move me who decided they wanted to have a fist fight and because of this they damage over £6000 worth of my furniture dents all over my brand new fridge smashed fish tank ripped leather sofa should I go on please whatever you do avoid this company

Their packaging style is terrible. They charged extra boxes, in the agreement they said, we need x boxes (there is no explanation about box sizes) and they sent 18x12x10 boxes and said that they used too many boxes and they charge extra for extra boxes We have to pay extra 1/3 of agreed price, and they did not move our garage materials, we moved ourself.
Actually we moved them 3 years ago, we were very happy and did very good job. It is suprising for us. They numbered each boxes etc, now we dont know if everything move and not lost. we could not know that how many boxes are packaged and how many moved to new house.

Absolute waste of time and money. Half moved me in a poorly packed van. Needed to rent a man and a van and self move the other 50% or pay their extortionate fees. Broke furniture and ruined the carpets in my rented home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Threw everything into the back of a van and stole everything of value.
