Fantastic service arrived promptly polite and respectful gentleman our two drop move was soon completed with everything where we wanted it even the difficult doors and big furniture did not pose a problem they were professional in all areas great company I would definitely use them again

Cieron was very helpful, after reading so many reviews I was really concerned but I was not left disappointed like these reviews suggest. We moved from Southend to chelmsford and it was done with such ease. I was even impressed with the coat tail as none of my stuff was damaged or even dusty.

Would highly recommend, and a big thank you to Kieran who went that extra mile. Would definitely use again!!!

Excellent customer service, very responsive on emails and phone to support with my many requests in the lead up the move. On moving day the team were professional and efficient, getting the job done much quicker than expected. All in all, a good service and would use them again.

After my wife had booked simply Removals I thought I would check the reviews in here the night before our move. To my shock I read many bad reviews about the company,so I was really worried about the next day. The team arrived early and immediately and efficiently moved everything from my 3 bed house,garage, and shed within 2.5 hours. They then had a 160 mile journey to my new house where they arrived in good time. When we got the keys the snow had started coming down heavily and there was no electricity in the property, the team of removers had to offload all our stuff in the pitch black and freezing cold which they did again very fast and efficiently. I would recommend this company and would definitely use again.

Service that is second to none from booking over the phone to packing and moving, I was incredibly pleased! Simply removals took the stress out of moving which I would not have managed otherwise. I would highly recommend this professional and reasonably charged service.

I went with this company because after getting a quote the office followed up with phone calls which misled me into thinkIng they were efficient. I wish I’d read the reviews on here first. Here goes ... Turned
up 1 hour 30 mins late without the wardrobe boxes i had requested. Men disorganised , massive problem with communication as they couldn’t speak any English and I would say you really really need to be able to talk about plans , what’s going where and when etc . Gobbed in my front garden as I was coming out the door , broke my wardrobe, moaned , argued with each other , took nearly 10 hours to move a 2 bedroom flat 1 mile up the road . Asked me
Where every single box was to go even though the room was written on 3 sides of each box . After all these delights and many more the invoice came this morning and i have been charged an extra £90 and informed I’d ticked a box on the confirmation form requesting a key wait waiver . I don’t recall tickIng this box and they will not refund it . The manager apparently had just stepped out the office when I tried to speak with them today. Basically do not touch this company with a barge pole.

Our move was horrific thanks to Simply Removals. Furniture damaged, not put where we wanted, oil painting torn from frame and ripped (despite being well wrapped in bubble wrap). Items lost.......

We discover more issues as we unpack and move furniture around. Have started the complaints procedure but difficult to do as the damage keeps coming to light. Discovered yesterday that our Boudoir Grand Piano (owned by my mother for 60 years) has been damaged and now won't play properly. Need to get a piano doctor to sort that, and another removal firm, at great expense, to put the furniture where we wanted it in the first place.

The other issue was that out of the 7 man crew that moved us, only one spoke English, his English wasn't great either. I know I can't speak their language, but I wasn't moving their treasured belongings into their dream home - damaging paintwork as I went! Shocking and disgraceful.

We used the company for our move mid December last year and the service we received was second to none. Marian and Sorin who drove the vans were efficient, took care of details and answered all questions when asked to clarify things. I would thoroughly recommend them. Mrs R (Farnham Royal, Bucks)

Great service. Was a little worried after reading some of the reviews on Trustpilot after booking the service but everything went very smoothly.

Kieran in the office was friendly and helpful prior to the move, Valentin and Daniel did an excellent job on the day; arrived promptly, got on with the job and finished the unloading much earlier than I'd anticipated allowing me time to get things setup.

Very disappointed customers after Monday’s fiasco (3rd December)
Waited all day : vans arrived 8.50 in the evening, leaving at 11.10 pm!!
Unacceptable service. Non existent customer care.

Awful experience. Office staff are rude and didn’t take complaints seriously. Very expensive! Stupid 7day complaints procedure. Don’t bother with the packers-useless!

Wow! Awful service. Had us booked in for the 30th all month and then a week before the move claimed that on the call we said the 1st. They said they only record ‘some’ calls... the manager went away to listen to the call and said it was one of the calls that wasn’t recorded. No offer of an alternative unless I paid another £500. We tried to use the service based in Enfield. Joke company.

You can change bookings up to 48 hours beforehand which actually I needed to use as my moving date was pushed back.
The guys arrived on time both days (I have a lot of stuff) and was very efficient.
I am between properties and will be using them again when I move my things from storage.

I have moved several time over the past 8 years within the UK and in Europe each time I have used a professional removal company and always a full packing service. I had for the past 3 moves used the same company LundConlon and I have bitterly regretted making the wrong decision by choosing the quote by Simply Removals. It was meant to be a move over 2 days with 2 and 3 men. On the first day they were late and one could speak English the other barely. No plan was discussed with me. The overall plan was that all things to go into storage would be packed up and delivered there and this would be be done in multiple trips. The one who could speak English spent a lot of time having breaks to smoke and talk on the phone leaving the other who I could not communicate with to do a lot of the packing. I tried several times to contact the main office. I was becoming increasingly concerned that they were going to run out of time as the storage closed at 6pm.
They just made the storage at 5.15pm, it was the only trip and they did not return to the house to pack anything else. On the 2nd day they were late again and only 2 men turned up and there should have been 3. The driver told me that the 3rd person did not answer the phone-Is this not supposed to be a professional company.I was very concerned as I was due to complete the next day by 12pm and there was no way they were going to get empty the house and unpack at the other place. I was constantly fobbed of by the Simply removals each time I phoned, I was not being taken seriously. It seems they were phoning the driver and he was telling them another version. Due to the length of time I had to go to an appointment and left them to continue for 30mins. When I arrived back I noticed there was a leak. I had the added stress of finding an emergency plumber as it turned out after some questioning the one that spoke little English decided to relieve his bowels in the macerater toilet and obviously used too much toilet paper and blocked the device. He even tried to cover the mess with my towels-disgusting!!
It took them until 12.20am to pack up everything. They attempted then to unload at 1 am. The neighbours were not best pleased and they called the police at 2.30am by 3am they had to leave, with a lot of my belongings in their van, I was distraught. It was a further 3days after that my belongins were delivered. I was told they would arrive at 10am, they arrived at 2pm. They had a third man with then who was quite frankly was very rude to me. During the move I wrote a letter of complaint to the sales rep-I still have not received a reply. I had to take additional time off work which meant that colleagues had to cover form at short notice. When I had finally got over the shock and horror of the experience I wrote another complaint to Customer service. As I write I have not received any type of apology or compensation.
In fact given the company boast in its adverts about the number of removals it has ONE person working in its "Customer Services" and due to the back log of complaints I am told they have no idea when they will get round to addressing my complaint. This company, in my opinion, cares only about getting the business in and places little if any importance on after sale care based on my experience.
A truly horrible experience!
