Disgraceful service

Bought a Polar Loop direct. Product doesn't work - incapable of recording accurate HR trace through the day with multiple periods of supposedly very high HR when minimal activity. Trying to return. They are doing everything they can to make it as difficult as possible to return. Avoid any dealings with them!

Had Polar M430 for about 8 months when…

Had Polar M430 for about 8 months when it simply failed. It would not charge. Tested cable and replaced charger. It was the watch. Took WEEKS to get a response from Polar. They agreed to replace under warranty. WEEKS later they sent a bill for repairs. Again they were alerted it was warranty AS THEY HAD AGREED. Then the dropped the price of the repair. AGAIN, in not friendly terms, they were reminded this was warranty. They send another watch that immediately failed. Heart rate jumped all over the place, step counter did not work, sometimes the screen was so weak it could not be read. Battery lasted about 6 hours. It has now been another 60 days since they were notified that the allegedly new watch failed. Time to roll out the small claims court paperwork and sue the scumbags.

Not sure any one is available to talk with customers . 30 plus days to get a response SE to an email. And it was a non response.
Polar is earning and deserves the low ratings.
Have had polar for 35 plus years. No more with a polar product.

Illegal refusal of returns

Customer service avoids answering enquiries about reutning products and when pushed after weeks requires packing slip as a condition for return. It is againstthe law (The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 No. 2334 Regulation 14).
I think people should bring themselves together to file a class-action lawsuit against Polar.

No real support from Polar

No real support from Polar – their support is an on-line fake support.

I bought a Polar m430 watch a year ago and it started to act strange. It said “no memory” and could not activate any of the training programs – the whole point with the watch.
I tried to contact Polar on line as it was the only option. All they did was sending a message back telling me to reset the watch. I did and it did NOT help at all. I then wrote them about my issues – asking specific questions – also I asked if they could please call me. All that happened was that I received a new mail telling me to reset my watch. It was complete non-support. They never called and it was clear there was NO support at all coming from their so called “support on line” – what a joke! I enden up finding a person who used to work with Polar when they had actual real support in Denmark. He helped me – and it was rather complicated. Polar dit NOTHING. Since Polar is all about the Software (clearly you do not buy a Polar watch because it´s a good looking watch!!!!!!) – the value of the watch simply dies when there is no support. I therefore do NOT recommend that you ever invest in a Polar watch – waste of time!

Polar V650 the worst from Finland

Have a Polar V650 the worst piece of equipment I have had. Bought in May was unable to sync with the phone told Customer service, tried to help, nothing worked. Told the problem would be solved shortly and to continue syncing through the computer. Now I have MacOS Big Sur and Polar is unable to have their programs sync through the computer, so basically an unusable item, a handlebar ornament. Sent customer support another message told Big Sur OS unusable with them and to sync through the phone. Tried to explain the phone Bluetooth and them are incompatible, it's a Samsung A70. So can't sync routes data or anything. A descent company would try and reimburse their customers when the problem rests on their side.

Lived with the lousy visuals dropping the GPS at critical times in a ride and unable to sync with phone just primary computer, and getting rid of all the training programs for cycling. Now Nothing.

Stay AWAY put the extra money and BUY A GARMIN or WAHOO, anything but polar.

Terrible quality, customer service non existent .

- T31 strap; I've had two and for both the pin at the end of the elastic strap supposed to go to the connector simply broke off within 2 years of moderate use.
- m400 watch; within a year and a half the screen faded and could no longer be used within a day of when starting to fade.
- H7 strap; the metal clips are all corroded within a year and a half, with proper maintenance and cleaning.

Contacted Polar Singapore, their response; normal wear and tear, not forthcoming with support or offering ANY solution. From my experience there is just no quality for any of their products they sell, limited warranty which will last just before things start falling apart. Customer service in Asia (Singapore) is non existent, easy decision to make; will never purchase Polar again nor do I advise anyone to buy.

Giving feedback is not just possible

Giving feedback is not just possible. If your feedback is not what they like to hear you have no channel to tell them. Wanted to give feedback that it should be possible to change pace from min/km to a more understandable km/h

Polar V650, Polar flow synch and their support are TERRIBLY BAD !

I've bought a new Polar V650 GPS at Xmas.

It has NEVER worked properly.

1) Finding your way to install all the tools is a mission and not intuitive at all.
2) But worse than that the synching has NEVER been working on my laptop and phone! I have had to use someone's else laptop where it worked once in while (max 1 out of 10 trials).
3) But NOW, the V650 is just never synching with ANY laptops or phones. I can upload any GPX and basically can't use the V650 for any rides.

I am extremely disappointed about this POOR GPS that is never working. The support team is not helpful and is not willing to refund the device or sent a replacement while in repair.

I have lost MANY sleeping hours trying to make it work. And I am just fed up with it now. I would just like a refund and go buy another brand GPS. Definitely would not recommend this!

Watch does not work properly, warranty worthless, poor customer service

I have used Polar for many years and have been good until now . I bought the new Ignite, some of the functionality does not work, i.e the sleep tracker should still be in testing . Even though brand new I had a battle about a refund and the warranty is worthless- Why would I want to send new watch for a service? You need to know the law i.e Customer Rights Act but it is a battle . Customer service poor can't speak to anyone all contact by email . I have been a Polar fan for over 20 years not anymore ! the worst ever in terms of Customer Service and some functionality very poor

Woeful... but I don’t think Polar are listening.

I have been a polar user since the early 90s. I like to think I am a loyal customer I don’t know what has gone wrong recently but the UK service arm is not helping. A quick summary.
* no phone number for UK service centre -all issues are reported by email or by sending the unit back. Often two weeks before a reply
* polar H10 strap lasted only 6 swims in pool and purchased replacement has now broken after 4months. I addressed this issue with Polar UK technician who called me back after 2weeks -no offer of replacement and was not told that the H10 is apparently not recommended for swimming according to some users -even though it and the vantage both marketed as suitable for swimming.
* h10 sensor gross inaccurate in water when it works -which is rarely. I sent it to service centre and was returned with a note saying no fault? Was it even tested under water?

Buy a Garmin or Wahoo HRM instead. Their Customer Service is better and their products last much longer.

I have been using Polar for over a decade and they consistently miss the mark on customer service & product quality. As a company, their CSR's barely read the requests that are submitted and reply with canned responses that ignore the original requests and waste time. My H10 died in four months (this is my 11th HRM from Polar) and their CSR was less than helpful. Also, when their product dies under the warranty period, Polar requires you to pay for the shipment back.

V800 worst service ever

I bought a polar v800 from a online website in the UK only for the watch to break a year later (water damage). Now Polar SA is refusing to replace my watch which is still under warranty as the watch is from an International shop. They recommended me to send the watch to Polar UK which is ridiculous. I will never buy any Polar product again. Worst service ever.

Polar Service on new 600 euro Vantage V Titan is extremely poor

I bought a 600 Euro Vantage V Titan. According to spec the battery should last 5 days or more with a 1 hour training a day. In my case it’s less than 2 days. The watch is less than 2 month old and the only option is repair according to Polar Service. Take out the word service. They should simply replace the watch with a new one, because there is clearly something wrong with it. Their warrenty even states this as a valid option, but the person communicating with me states that is not true. This SUCKS big time. I bought a new product which will be like a second hand after repair in less than 3 months after I bought it. Useless!

Terrible product quality

Bought a Polar IGNITE two weeks ago, suddenly the watch will not charge. I contact their customer service and they ask me to send a picture of the watch (like they do not know what their own products look like). Then I am told that I have to send back the back the for repair. I will never buy any Polar product again.

Terrible service

Terrible service. The guy was just reading from a piece of paper and would not stay on topic. DO NOT BUY the Polar 430 if you have a small wrist unless you want a white monitor that will get dirty. Very bad design decision by a man no doubt! This company was once great but now they have gotten too full of themselves. There are many better products with the same features on the market now that are made to fit smaller wrists. I had M200 for 2.5 yrs and the wrist band never fell apart. I bought the more expensive 430 for the new features but in 8 months the wrist band fell apart. It cost 35$ to get a new one that they have to install. Polar claims to be making "gender" neutral products. Well gee they should learn the difference between gender and sex. They should be making sex neutral products, gender refers to femininity and masculinity which has nothing to do with the smaller wrists most women have.
