I did work for Polilingua 4-5 months ago, still waiting for the payment. No answers what so ever. I don't recommend doing work for them. The payment was supposed to come 2025-03-31. The email... See more

I worked with PoliLingua Limited on a transcription project and delivered the assigned files according to the provided guidelines. After delivery, their own Project Manager confirmed that the work (corresponding to USD 125) was reviewed and considered correct. However, the company is refusing to pay this amount, stating that their end client did not accept the full delivery. They are attempting to link payment to client acceptance and are requesting unpaid rework instead. To be clear, I was contracted directly by PoliLingua, not their end client, and no “pay only if client pays” terms were agreed in advance. Despite multiple follow-ups, the confirmed amount remains unpaid.
I recommend that freelancers clarify payment terms very carefully before working with this company.
I worked with PoliLingua as a translator from English to Kirundi. I really appreciate their professionalism and the payment on time. PoliLingua is the Translation Agency I can recommend to other clients who need well-done jobs.
I have worked several times with PoliLingua and it was a smooth and nice collaboration. The staff is responsive.
Reliable and trustworthy company
Excellent communication
Highly recommended.
I had a very positive experience working with PoliLingua on a French ↔ Kinyarwanda over-the-phone interpretation assignment. The communication throughout the process was clear, timely, and professional. The project details were well organized, and expectations were clearly outlined from the beginning.
The team was supportive and responsive, making the collaboration smooth and efficient. I also appreciated the prompt payment, which reflects their reliability and respect for linguists’ work.
Overall, PoliLingua is a trustworthy and professional agency, and I would be happy to collaborate with them again in the future. I highly recommend them to fellow translators and interpreters.
Very nice first experience with Polilingua: I carried out a certified translation from German into French. The instructions and communication were clear, and the project manager was friendly and responsive. I received payment on time. I would be delighted to work with them again.
Poli Lingua was great to work with. They are very responsive to any questions I had regarding submissions and invoicing. They made the process seamless to work with them. Their platform was very easy to use. I would gladly recommend working with them.
This is a very trustworthy agency.
I have been working for PoliLingua for a couple of years now and have to say that cooperation has been easy, productive, and always on a friendly note.
It was a great pleasure working with the PliLingua team. They were highly responsive and communicated in a timely manner.
I would be happy to continue collaborating on English-Amharic and English-Tigrinya translation services.
Responsive, good communication, interesting project, correct payment.
Polilingua PMs have been good professionals, and the company has been trustworthy and stable over the last many years that we have been cooperating.
I completed a Turkish transcription project with Polilingua. The communication was clear, the guidelines were well-structured, and the project management process was smooth and professional. Payment was processed on time as agreed.
Overall, it was a positive collaboration experience, and I would be happy to work with Polilingua again in the future.
A proofreading project was offered in a mass email at the derisory rate of $6 USD last year. Is this now the norm for LSPs to have to endure and be grateful for? This week, Neevo audio transcription is cancelled after two days. Having researched Neevo on the internet, over the years they have become notorious non-payers and finding excuses for not making payment. Transcription correction task remuneration prior to cancellation: $10 USD per 60 audio minutes. I know of at least one other transcriber colleague who has been subject to similar treatment.
The experience to work for Polilingua was very nice. They are very professional and the payment was made at the right time.
The staff are very helpful, I'm happy to work with them.
This is a very old and very good translation agency. They have very good translators and experienced project managers. The translations are always almost perfect.
35 hour project completed, never paid. Not even an acknowledgment of receipt of the work from the project manager. Email interaction in the lead up to the deadline was shockingly rude and unprofessional. I hope PoliLingua’s clients know that this agency operates illegally by stealing the work of freelances whom they then do not pay.

I have been working with PoliLingua as a translator for a few years now. Their Project Managers offer a friendly environment and efficient communication, as well as smooth payments through their own invoicing system. It was really a pleasure working with PoliLingua and I am looking forward to further successful collaboration.
I requested a quote for website translation. I know exactly that there are about 3000 words, excluding duplicate content. Somehow, Polilingua's in-house software magically found that there are 44,000 words on my website!! More than 10x of what I actually have! They assume I don't know the word count just because I didn't send a document to them. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
