Everything went great, but just a little less than perfect. Asa was amazing! And the heater is awesome! I suggest a little more instruction on the tilt meter on the shipping carton, I wasn’t aware that there could be different levels of how serious the shipment was tilted. But a couple of phone calls between the manufacturer and the shipping company, and we worked it all out. Be prepared, the heater is a lot heavier than you think, the delivery truck gets it to the ground for you, but you will still need a way to transport the heater to where you will install it.

Smooth online purchase with very fast delivery. Heater was not working upon installation. However, coordination with Poolheatpumps and Gulfstream lead to a quick replacement of parts and successful installation. The heater is working and gives a totally different experience in the pool. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Did some research to replace my hayward heat pro
(do not purchase one of these over rated). Decided on a gulfstream. After speaking with Asa at pool heat pumps who was very helpful answering my questions i decided on 125,000 btu to replace my hayward 140,000 btu. I have a 16x32 inground pool. I have to say that this is out performing the hayward. Live in mass and some days are 70 some 90. Been keeping my pool at 85 with less use than the hayward.

I purchased a Gulfstream HE 110-R-A.
I was very hesitant to order online because I feared that if any problem arose I would have a difficult time getting it corrected. Thankfully there were no problems. As a matter of fact the entire process was simple and I couldn’t have been happier.
My first call to Poolheatpumps.com allayed all my fears. The entire process was thoroughly explained and delivery went smoothly. Great customer service!

I hired an Electrician to wire the unit, but I plumbed the unit and we had it installed within a few hours.

The water was 76 degrees and it took the unit overnight to take it to 90 degrees. We have now found the best temperature for us, which is 88 degrees. The unit runs in the morning for a little while, then the sun takes over. By the end of the day, the water is 92 or so, when the outside temperature is in the high 90s.

We have not really noticed a price increase that would make us say anything, as it is in the range of last year's cost of power. We went with this unit because all of our friends bought gas heaters and they turn them off, as the cost of using them is crazy.

We don't intend to heat the pool in mid-winter, we just have a lot of shade in the backyard, and the water stays in the low high 70s to low 80s at best in the summer.
