Awful customer service
Purchased an Iron Man Hot Toys figure - the item page does not state that batteries aren’t included - and I’ve had to buy three different packs at my own expense when they’re supposed to be in the box. I informed the site of this and was rudely told by “Christopher” that it was tough luck and I’d have to seek them out myself. Terrible customer service when I’d have been satisfied with as little as $5 worth of points being added to my account to make up for it.
Complete Garbage.
‼️HORRIBLE.‼️I waited around two weeks for my order, and when it came, I only received one of the two items I purchased. Now, the other one, they have taken down from the website, aren't selling it anymore, and received a gift card which you cant spend on anything, and wasn't given a refund. DONT BUY FROM ‼️HERE,‼️
Avoid
Comfortably the worst online shopping experience I’ve had. They took so long to get it out for delivery that I was unable to gift the items I bought. I moved in the meantime so I had to redirect the products. Amarex the company they use for delivery are hopeless. I still haven’t received what I paid for. When I wanted to cancel the order as it hadn’t left the warehouse yet I was only offered a gift card as a refund.
Superb as usual!
3rd or 4th time ordering from Popcultcha. Not a single issue. Huge selection, good prices, customer service always answered and items well-packaged when arriving.
Terrible customer service
This company is terrible I have been a loyal customer for many years but not anymore. I ordered a funko pip it it was delivered damaged. I asked for a replacement or refund they absolutely refused Stu on the customer service was so rude, I also did two separate orders and they put in in the same parcel charging me double shipping with no refund!
This website is a red flag
The customer support is unprofessional and disrespectful to customers, we spoke with a man named Adam and he was very dismissive and rude. He was very short with his answers and wasn’t very sympathetic or empathetic to the fact that I’ve been waiting over two weeks for my order to even be ‘shipped out’ and now has been cancelled due to “no stock”. From when I’m writing this, it’s only a week away from Christmas and now I’m left without a gift for my son. Definitely will not shop from here again. -To all consumers, please do not give this website your money and consider buying your collectables elsewhere, otherwise you may very well have a terrible experience as I have. Make sure to look at the reviews before you order from this website as their ratings are 2.2 stars which speaks for itself.
I ordered 2 items on the same day but…
I ordered 2 items on the same day but separate orders paying separate postage fees that combined to £54 , to avoid customs charges both items separate came under the £135 custom charge but what Popcultcha decided to do was combine both items into the one shipment and I got hit with a £68 custom charge , I emailed Popcultcha and got absolute no help at all saying that if items ordered on same day their system combines them as one yet if I was to order these items together just now the postage comes to £38 pound so I asked why has it then charged me the additional £16 if this was the case, but the person I was dealing with Chris couldn’t care any less , returning the items would rather purchase elsewhere now .. poor customer service from a customer who was loyal , thought Popcultcha was a decent company not any better than a social media seller , pocketing extra postage but bo doubt it will be a message to say “sorry for your experience has stated blah blah blah” took more postage as stated and combined items when I didn’t ask for them to be combined !
Just another dodgy online store with no service or physical presence
These guys are terrible. I ordered and item and it did not ship for two weeks. I tried chasing them but nobody replied to my email for an entire week.
Don't be tricked by their website and inventory. This is another dodgy online store, hiding behind no Google Review ratings. Spams the internet with their SEO and pages on pages full of collectibles, but whether you'd actually get the items are another issue.
Go with a real store with a real location, with real reviews. Not like this - it's like buying from eBay without any ratings.
Hopefully someone reads this and results in at least one less purchase and one less disappointment in this world.
Good Experience
Ordered 2 Pop Vinyls on 9 December. Arrived within a week (in time for Christmas as they are gifts for others). The pops were tightly packed in a sturdy cardboard box which was clearly marked as carrying valuable collectibles. The pops arrived in perfect condition with absolutely no damage whatsoever so no hesitation in wrapping and gifting for Christmas. My experience with Popcultcha was exactly what I would expect it to be and based on that experience I would order from them again.
Do not buy there !
My all Funko in order coming melted inside . There are no help with customer service , you just lost your money 10% discount or refund while for me all cost is customs duty + shiped back was 50% of order value.
Be careful when placing more than one order.
Two seperate items orders for delivery to UK. Instead of being shipped as paid for they were put together into one parcel without notice. I should have had two parcels of £90 passing through customs without a charge, but ended up paying an extra £51. All because this retailer wanted to save themselves a couple of minutes work. Contacted them twice via email but both replies contained no apology or refund of second shipping fee, Avoid this company, there are so many better alternatives.
Rude customer service and items not shipped together
Rude customer service from Chris. Phoned regarding my husband's order which only had his comic book sent and not the pop vinyls (even though all pop vinyls are in stock currently). Chris in a arrogant tone stated that as long as the paperwork inside the box matched what was delivered that's all that mattered. Explained to Chris that the box was massive for a small comic book and could have easily had the pop vinyls placed in the same order. Chris stated "well I don't know how it was packed". Asked Chris why there was no notification given to us on them splitting the order, again given the same arrogant tone remark of "we don't do that" I replied to Chris to maybe take some feedback from a customer that a notification of an order being split would be appreciated next time. Chris was very unhelpful and rude and hung the phone up on me. Would not recommend this company for your pop goods, better stores out there and staff who actually appreciate their job and the pop collection.
Poor customer service
Doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have ordered from Popcultcha for the last 6 years and haven't had an issue with them until now! 2 order in the last 2 weeks totalling over £200. The first order there was a damaged box, still no reply from them. The most recent order, not yet received had an out if stock item which they refunded as store credit and I had to contact them to arrange for it to refunded back to original payment method, how they think that's right when they can't supply the item. They also said they won't refund any shipping costs even though I know it would be less to ship!! They have now lost my custom and will not be recommending them!!
Shady company and ghost you the moment something goes wrong.
Been shopping there for years and they've always been good and answered emails. But all of a sudden when something is wrong they ghost you and no refund.
Frustrated loyal customer
I made some Black Friday purchases and my browser automatically changed the promo code to an older code (15% vs 20%). The site doesn’t give you the option to cancel the order yourself, you have to email them to do so. I emailed them immediately after both purchases looking for them to either give me the additional 5% credited back as store credit, or cancel the orders so I could reorder. Their support took days to get back to me and are now saying there is nothing they can do after I’ve made multiple purchases through them and have spent a ton of money. Awful customer service.
SLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOW.
SLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOW.
Slow to acknowledge your order
Slow to pack your order
Slow to prepare your order for posting
Slow to post your order
I cannot believe they can be any more slower.
Not sure why so many bad reviews
I ordered 10 Funko Pop!s from Popcultcha and then I saw the reviews and got really worried my item would be damaged. I got them sent from Australia to the UK and the items arrived in perfect condition, they were delivered in a super thick box and they were all secured so did not move about in the box and were fully protected. Really really happy with my purchase.
Disgusting with new owners
Disgusting with new owners. Stu doesn’t give a crap. I have been buying from them for years no problems until this one guy started. He actually has no brains and shouldn’t be working in a shop that sells collectible items. Tells me no big deal my item is damaged. Well it is, it affects the value and offers a $5 voucher that I HAVE TO USE IF I SHOP WITH THEM. It has they provide a return label for damaged items, nope he said I have to pay. Absolutely disgusting.
Be careful with this company
Be careful with this company.
The customer service is very smug, and unhelpful.
They have a massive dislike for giving refunds.
They don't care if the merch is not even released by the manufacturer.
They will give you the runaround.
This is my advice.
Choose anyone else.
If after reading this, you still choose to risk it, and place an order with them, use PAYPAL.
I had to open a case against Popcultcha, and PAYPAL resolved the situation in 10 minutes. I got my money back.
They thought that keeping my money and ignoring my mails was going to work out for them.
I wish there was an option on this platform to give Popcultcha 0 Stars.
Just an unnerving experience with them.
Believe me.
Hope this review helps someone choose wisely.
Refund Policy
They have a crappy refund policy, and they falsely advertise their products. I ordered something they claimed to be in stock, then when it wasn't I asked for a refund and they didn't give it.
