Horrible experience
Horrible experience! Had an envelope that came from the UK to Croatia, HR Posta notified me that it had been delivered on a certain date last month, and that a specific person in our small office had signed for it. That person never received the envelope nor signed for it. I followed this up with the local physical post office, who apologised but said the only way to pursue the issue was to lodge a complaint online. I did so. The response took upwards of 3 weeks!! All I got within that response was that my request was unfounded and the item was delivered and signed for. I have lodged a complaint against that response, but I don't have much hope. HR Posta seems like a lost cause at this time.
THE WORST THING SINCE COMMUNISM
This is maybe THE WORST company IN THE WORLD next to al qaeda. They take weeks, even months to deliver, they dont anwser the phone and keep you waiting like a dog. Use ANYTHING else.

We’ll send you an email and update Your Orders when it’s available for collection. If it’s not collected, we’ll try delivering it to your address again.
However the parcel was not even in my town when this comment appeared in the tracking.

Would help if they ever delivered. More and more purchases from Amazon UK and Germany now allegedly delivered by HP. They rarely arrive. The tracking information stops when the package leaves the Amazon facility. I've emailed HP and they say they don't deliver outside Croatia. I believe they subcontract - one of the few successful deliveries was by Slovakia Post. Been waiting 5 days for the latest package; have been promised delivery on 3 different days - nothing. As soon as I see HP as the courier I lose hope.

Amazon delivery has only just been delivered, days late... lousy on the updates for tracking, lie and say attempted delivery at my address when it was not scheduled to be delivered to my address but to a locker! Unfortunatly there is no lower review. I hope all the webshops will stop using this delivwry oprision as it is a joke: waiting all day for delivery because of the message that was sent by HP company. Nothing. And the day after, today another message that says that I can pick my parcel at the post office!!!! Do they know what is home delivery???? It is not the first time, it is a normal thing for them.

Avoid if possible. If there is no other option of delivery rather dont order. They have lost in one mont 3 packages from the same sender and there is no way to do anything about it. Bad is too good word for they work.

EVERY TIME Amazon ships with Hrvaatska Posta, they somehow are “unable to deliver” and notify me several days after the shipment was meant to take place. It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact them in any language other than Croatian, and they offer no explanation.

Obviously HR Pošta is too lazy to deliver. Third time in s raw my delivery was puted into paketomat instead of coming to my place. And there is no reactionon to my email after case nb 2. Today it happened again, I'm totally fed up with HR Pošta.
A Consistently Disrespectful and Dysfunctional Service
I avoid using Hrvatska Pošta whenever I can. Unfortunately, when they’re the default courier, I immediately brace for a poor experience—because that’s what they consistently deliver.
My most recent interaction was no exception. Instead of delivering my package to the home address I provided, they arbitrarily redirected it to a parcel locker 3.5 km away. There was no justification or notice—just a complete disregard for the original delivery address. I manually redirected it to a closer locker (only 550 meters away), but before I had a chance to pick it up—and three days before the pickup deadline—they removed it again and transferred it to a postal office.
Visiting a post office is an ordeal in itself: you're limited to their inconvenient opening hours, and once inside, you're met with slow service, long queues, and staff that are frequently unprofessional and dismissive. It’s a frustrating and demeaning experience that no customer should have to endure.
The level of disorganization, arbitrary decision-making, and lack of accountability is astounding. If Hrvatska Pošta were a private company operating in a competitive market, I genuinely believe they would have gone out of business by now. Their outdated policies, unpredictable parcel handling, and consistent failure to meet basic standards of customer service make them a liability rather than a service provider.
It’s unacceptable in 2025 to be forced to rely on a courier that treats its customers with such disregard.

HP is a state owned courier service, they are slow & incompetent. You get a message that your package is on the way, you are home, and the status says “delivery attempt”. You call them and they tell you the package didn’t even leave the warehouse. No thanks…

Just awfull. A small package that came by dhl and was picked up by the post office didn't even leave a notification in my mailbox. I accidentally installed the dhl app and saw that they supposedly came by and would try the next day. In the same app I saw that they tried to deliver the next day at 10:59am so that surprised me because I was home and no one rang the bell. I was expecting a message in my mailbox but there was no notification there either. Through the app I finally saw that the package was waiting for me at the post office after two failed deliveries 😳. I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't accidentally installed the dhl app which was in German language. Disaster from H. Post
Worst delivery service to exist in the world
Worst delivery service to exist in the world, I am a finance and business student and it is impressive to me that a corporation can be so big with so much money and yet function like a start up from a 12 year old, incompetence of this institution is another level. Always opt out for another courrier service if you can, every time I have to go with this service I have problems, every single time.
