The price of fat balls for birds have increased by 200%! However, I still purchased them and was puzzled why the birds didn't touch them. After investigating, I found that they were as hard as cannonballs and a hammer didn't leave a dent. 🤬 Disgusting.

Am I the only person who thinks this…

Am I the only person who thinks this shop should be called poundsquasher? Jesus christ what has happened, it has gone so ridiculously expensive!! I genuinely cannot believe the prices are more expensive than any supermarket and the place is still going. Perfect example, I nipped in for some latex covered work gloves that are £1 in B and Q and branded.I nearly fell through the floor when I saw the identical gloves but unbranded were £3!!! I had a quick peruse through the shop and compared prices compared to our usual haunts and this place was way more expensive...why? The only things that were cheaper were not available at other shops and it is their own disposable tat! At least 70% of their comparable products are the highest priced in town. Whilst I am having my rant, what was that 50% off when you spend a fiver gimick. Do they think joe public are morons...OBVIOUSLY! How could they double the price and sell for 50% off which works out you still paying more. I got into a row with a lowlife cashier at their madeley store when I pointed the con out and she told me they were 9p cheaper on cadbury chocolate after the £5 spend. What she didnt say though was they were more expensive if you did not spend a fiver. I could sit here for hours airing what I think but I cannot be bothered. Basically there marketing and buying teams need the sack and the ceo needs to get a reality check. Sell at a good price and sell more. Carry on with this greed and the brand will be gone in 6 months. Might be worth mentioning the owners, theres a clue!!

went to pound stretchers in Plymouth my experience from a manager's attitude was shocking and shameful she needs some training on how to talk to the public and managerial training.

I went to pound stretchers in Plymouth Devon yesterday I asked a member of staff was it ok to bring my cockaphoo into the store he's very well behaved !! 5 minutes later a so called female manager approached me with another member of staff the manager was in a very agitated manner with an angry face and said dogs arnt aloud in the store i said i have been given the ok to bring my dog in, she then proceeded to tell me to leave the store and kept repeatedly saying this, then changed her story saying you can stay if you have your dog in your arms I replied I can't hold him he's to heavy,
I suffer with ostioartiritus and chronic lung problems, there where no apologise or sorry about the mistake from her and asked to see the manager she said she was the manager I asked her for her name several times she then replied you don't need my name I could hardly believe the attitude and rudeness, she also said you can leave your dog outside I said no as I would worry he could be taken !! I was froged marched by this so called manager and partener in crime saying this is not good for a grown lady to act I felt like a criminal, got to the till and she told the till lady not to serve me and I was not to come back, the lady that gave me permission to take my dog in pound stretchers was the till lady I asked the manager not have a go at her as she was not properly informed about dogs coming in the store, when I was about to leave I asked this so called manager have you had any managerial training as her attitude and body language was dreadful and disgraceful. Rip off prices…

Used to get some bargains from Poundstretchers a couple of years ago then they started putting their prices up at an alarming rate, this must have detered customers because they then had 50% off sale, but not before putting prices up even more, the last time I went there the prices were through the roof again so I'll stick to Homebargains and B&M who don't rip their customers off.

Visited Bexleyheath store today RUDE MANAGER…

Visited Bexleyheath store today enquiring about a possible refund or credit note for a previous purchase - with receipt. The Manger, Maria, from the outset was appalling rude and dismisssive to me. I fully understood that my purchase was over 28 days - therefore, strictly speaking, not eligible for refund etc BUT COMPLETELY SHOCKED HOW RUDE SHE WAS TO ME THROUGHOUT. DISGUSTING ATTITUDE. SHE DEFINITELY NEEDS TO ATTEND A CUSTOMER SERVICE COURSE OR LOSE HER JOB IF SHE SIMPLY CAN'T BE CIVIL. Such a shame, as the other cashier staff are always helpful and friendly- the complete opposite to Maria, the Manager.
