As soon as I was referred to Katie from Preferred, the service was incredible. She was very helpful on the phone with getting to the bottom of our problem and who she needed to send out to help us. She managed to get an electrician assigned to us within 3 hours of speaking to her. RLE Electrical came out that evening, and the man was very professional, explained everything to us in ways that we would understand, and got the job done quickly. Katie rang back this morning to check that everything was sorted for us, and informed us that we could call back within 30 days if there were anymore issues. Overall, I was pleased with the service. Thanks so much!

This service is absolutely amazing I did belong to British Gas and was paying £70 a month. And I am disabled and depend heat and I have called them once and had to wait a week to come out. I have swapped to UW and they came out on the same day and fixed the problem next working day and all I pay is a minimum amount each month and when I need them it’s a £60 excess so I am saving money as well as having excellent service

They helped us out immensely the representative that we spoke to was a lovely gentleman who went above and beyond helping us to get our boiler replaced during a stressful time. Helping us save money. The engineers were professional and efficient quickly replacing the boiler in a timely fashion.

My front door deadlock mechanism needed aligning to fit in the pocket of the door and the repair was booked through Preferred. The locksmith they sent out was excellent – he arrived promptly, was polite and professional, and quickly identified and fixed the issue. He explained what had gone wrong and made sure the lock was working smoothly before leaving.
The whole process was stress-free, and I felt reassured knowing it was handled properly. Great service from both Preferred for arranging the visit, and from the locksmith for carrying out the repair. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service.

Ray and Joel were absolutely amazing and made my experience run smoothly with their professional and polite manner. I spoke with Ray several times during a very tough journey with my boiler but his advice and prompt approach to support me and get my new boiler sorted as quickly as possible made it so much easier to cope with. Always answered or returned my calls with answers and support for all my queries.

Very dissatisfied with the service. I had a water leak which I reported immediately. It took 4 days for an engineer (plumber) to come *only to have a look). Instead of fixing the water leak, he just walked away. I had to call over and over again to get things sorted. Every single web link I've been sent does not work and I'm still finding it impossible how to contact them regarding the claim I want to put for the damage the property has suffered due to the constant water leak that could have been fixed 4 days ago.
