My wife booked a car 4 hours in advance of her doctors appointment (she has a serious medical condition). Her bank card was immediately charged the £27 fare. The taxi never showed up and when she called she was advised “Oh, the driver cancelled the job”. No notification. Unable to get any other taxi at short notice she ended up going to A&E.

She requested a refund and was advised it would take 14 days! Clearly this company is a scam.

Dangerous driving doing 40mph in a 20 zone. Also overcharged me by £6.00. Becareful about using this establishment.

Pl19HRG I have been waiting 35 minutes for the taxi to arrive who said they was out side but was not premier taxis has gone so bad even on the app the price has gone when I would pay £5 has now gone to £11:60 how! I think I will have to stop using them

we pre booked a taxi for our holiday, to and from Liverpool airport. Both drivers arrived on time. Helped with our cases, and where very polite. Would certainly book with them again

Bit of a bad experience this time- Usually alright. I've paid card every time I've used the service before, for them to tell me I had to pay cash. Taken to the nearest cash point and expected to pay the extra.

He says his card machine is broken, surely something must've been mentioned when I made the call?

Taxis on time drivers were lovely very helpful as I have a broken shoulder as I don't live in wigan I had a brill experience and would recommend them highly

Book a cab and they don’t turn up. Ring them and they’re not helpful at all. Avoid at all costs

I booked the taxi for a friend who is 83 years old and has had a stroke. I thought, after using Premier myself for many years with good service, he was in good hands.Rude, ignorant and aggressive driver. No understanding of a disabled passenger using a stick. No assistance. More interested in his car than the passenger. Will not be using Premier again. Sad after good service for myself, but if this is how they treat less able people I don't want to know.

Rung to enquire about booking a taxi, operator hung up on me

Crossing market st last nite almost ran over by one of your taxis 'driver shouted out of window at us then gave us a rodded finger. Disgusting behaviour. Reg plate NX16 FHA . 8.00. O clock at nite. Considering we are in our 60s and 70s with knee problems he should have slowed down allowing us time to cross. ☹

I have used Premier Cars, New Malden for several journeys recently for transporting bulky items half a mile, to return trips to both airports. I can honestly say that they have gone above and beyond to ensure my travel is on time and as comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much.

I recently got a Tesla taxi to Manchester airport and back with my son who has additional needs the driver was very nice and polite and engaged with my son making sure we was comfortable and settled I would 100% recommend this taxi firm and I will be using them again next year for airport run

NORMALLY very good but have let me down occasionally with rude drivers.

Please explain why 2 taxis following each other covering the exact same distance have a huge difference in price? £13 from one operator and Premier charged us £34? Absolutely disgraceful avoid these bandits!

They just charged my teenage daughter £12 for a 1.4 mile journey from the hospital to the train station. Seems an awful lot and now she doesn't have enough money for the taxi the other end

Gave the driver an extra £10 to walk my 79 year old mum to the door after being out my brothers 60th birthday and the guy asked her for a tip!!! Lucky she only had a pound on her!!! Shameful!!! Reported it to the office and no response!!! Trying to rip off old ladies!! Never use!!!

As a regular customer of this particular cab company, it pains me to have to leave this review. They used to be very good value and 100% reliable. Sadly, in the last few months, this has changed beyond recognition. My first issue arose when they collected me from Gatwick at midnight recently to return to Staines. Since l had made the very same trip a few months previously, l was expecting a bill of around £60. When we arrived, the driver announced a price in the region of £85! I disputed this, but it was too late for him to contact head office. I gave him all l had (£60) and he left. Whilst this experience left a sour aftertaste, l thought it was probably a one-off, so nothing too serious. Let me now tell you what followed. I needed to book a cab to travel to St Pancras on 19/8, given there was another rail strike. I rang Premier Cars a week ago to request a quote. I clearly stated that it was for 19/8 early in the morning. I was quoted £58.60. When l rang them a week later to make a booking, l nearly fell off my chair when they quoted me £88!!! I tried to argue my case, but they just came back with all kinds of spurious reasons for the massive price hike, etc etc. They sent me a payment link, and l was horrified when £111 was debited from my account. Anyway, the driver turned up on time and delivered me to St Pancras. The only positive point in this sorry saga was that £88, and not £111, was then debited from my account. Apologies for this long-winded tale of woe, but l felt it was necessary. The upshot for me is that, Premier Cars has lost a regular customer, as l shall NEVER EVER use them again. I urge you readers to look elsewhere if you don’t want to be ripped off to an extent which is bordering on the dishonest.

We have used several times and had mixed experiences. Sometimes the drivers are very friendly and careful. Other times the drivers have had less care and use excessive speeds. We have always found them to reliable and responsive so will continue to use them.
