Non removal of Pre pay meter
For well over 18 months now. I have repeatedly requested the removal of the Pre Pay meter so that that the ESB could install a Smart meter.
Numerous calls and assurances that it would be removed shortly. Dates set and always no appearance or prior notification of non attendance.
Totally unreliable and non dependable.
Would advise anyone contemplating retaining Pre Pay power as a utility source.Think twice and first look at Swithchers or Bonkers .ie , where you will find a cheaper rate.
Meanwhile the Pre Pay meter is still in situ.

I called on behalf of a friend today, 4th/July/26, I spoke to Angad, I explained the issue to him and within minutes it was resolved, no fuss, absolute professionalism at it's best, he explained everything to me, I followed his instructions and there was light 💡 🙏... prepay choose their staff well, train them to a high customer services standard, and in my experiences go above & beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩, thank you Angad for your excellent customer service
