Impressivev

First time I’ve used pritchards but it won’t be the last. Really pleased with the jersey and it was lucky to buy it at such a great price. I had to call about the delivery and the person I spoke to was very helpful and it arrived the next day, excellent in the current climate!

Just superb!

Found this wonderful retailer from a google search, only disappointing thing about them is I can’t do ALL my Xmas shopping with them. Arrived next day, beautifully wrapped at the busiest time of year. I am so grateful and will use again for my other half’s gifts.

Not thrilled with them to be honest

Not thrilled with them to be honest. I ordered some Oliver Sweeney shoes that I'd wanted for a while. Pritchards were reasonably local, and had them on sale.

I need to make it clear that I ordered this item online, not in their store. As such, I expect items I purchase to be brand new, unless clearly stated. I believe this is likely a legal requirement too.

When I received the shoes there was some moderate "scuffing" to the soles. I asked a couple of friends what they thought, and they both said that it seemed to suggest the shoes had been worn outside as the scuffing was beyond what you'd expect from basic trying them on in store (These shops are usually carpeted to prevent just this).There was also two small scuffs (around 2cm) on one of the toecaps.
This could be because these shoes were previously returned, or they'd been used very heavily as display items. (Both soles had the scuffing).

I weighed this up with the discount (about £40), and figured it was disappointing, but acceptable. These shoes were still around £120 - so not exactly cheap.

I would've probably left them a 3* review, for a "used" but genuine item. However, I then received an email thanking me for my custom, and to get in contact with them if I had any problems. So I did. I didn't ask for anything (refunds, or discounts) I just said I'd expect better from a "premium" shop selling used goods as new. I also asked them to let me know whether they knew they were used. I received ZERO response from them. Nothing. No apology, or explanation. So even their customer service is poor.

Just an overall bad experience. I certainly wouldn't purchase from them again. Very disappointing experience.

EDIT REVIEW - Since posting this review, I received contact from Pritchards, not only to explain why they hadn't been in touch (it seems COVID has led to trying to cope with a lot on their own) but also to provide a partial refund. I spoke with Luke at Pritchards via email and he was pretty shocked by the images I sent him of the product, and immediately offered to have them collected and issue a full refund. However, I declined this offer in favour of keeping them at the favourable discounted rate.

Whilst I'm still not thrilled about being sent the "used" product, I am going to add 2*'s to this review. Simply because the customer service, once received, was very good, and what I'd have hoped for in the first place. The high-street needs our help currently, and I think it's only fair that I adjust my review to reflect the change in service I received.
