charged my bank account without sending any products, I bought 1 30 day kit and they then continued to charge me afterwards, I had to change banks to get it to stop and now they are sending me letters and emails saying they will take LEGAL ACTION if I don’t pay them £30. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!!
Absolutely a rip off company
Is it absolutely shocking, I ordered a discount from them for them to take full payment out of my bank, I then realised they'd taken another payment so I rang up and had no help from the person I spoke too, she said there were another two payments to be made, I said that is not what I signed up for, the stuff does not work on my skin at all, which is disappointing especially with 4 payments to be paid, something again I didn't sign up to, please don't order from here people, absolute rip off and not worth the hassle, come Monday morning I will be going to my bank and asking them to stop payment coming out, I should not have to pay for something I did not order, with the reviews I've read I'm not the only one this has happened too, so if action is to be taken then so be it. They are stealing from me not the other way round. Simple.

I would give this a 0 star if I could. My partner ordered this thinking it was the miracle cure it was advertised as. Wrong, we had nothing but the trouble they have been stealing money ar £30 a time! reported to action fraud and the Police as this is theft, tried to explain this to the incompetent customer relation officers who laughed when I said I would take them to court if needed, moral of the story don't use them! Hope they don't rip any more people off especially as they are not trading in the UK and Ireland anymore thank god!
Entered into a contract I wasn't aware…
Purchased on offer to try. Then realised they'd taken another payment about a month after. I called to question as I didn't sign up. More so, I hadn't received another orde and that I was charged full price when they had discounts on their site. I was told they would refund inc p&p as apparently Hermes had lost the parcel.
Over 2 weeks later- no refund. Called again and told it will be with me in 2-3 days. When I questioned why it hadn't been processed I was told it was forwarded to a supervisor who had missed it.
Fingers crossed I get my money back.
I actually like the products but won't order from them again. Especially as they are closing in UK now.... I wonder why....

Set of sharks! Avoid at all costs. Promised refund for goods I hadn't ordered, then had to refer back to card provider for charge back as the refund wasn't correct. You order from them and don't realise that you're tied in to repeat orders. They state that it is clearly stated in their terms and conditions, however the T's & C's are not attached to your order - only on the website. They do not give details of what the future orders will be and the cost. The customer service is shocking! Report them to the Citizens Advice Consumer helpline on 03454 04 05 06. We need to get this stopped.

Would give zero stars if I could, skin was worse after use, it’s so harsh skin was flaking and their customer service is awful. Called and emailed loads and it took forever to cancel the contract. Avoid avoid avoid!

Fraud keep taking money out my account monthly and I have never ever given any permission for this .... tried to call but as I don’t have an account nothing they can do!! Tried to cancel at the bank but it won’t cancel! Delivery address to one I don’t even live at.....
Terrible customer service.
I'm pretty disappointed with Proactiv's terrible customer service. I ordered a starter 3-pack from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. The package arrived with a broken cap on the cleanser. I contacted Proactiv via their customer service form to ask for a new cap because the product kept drying in the tube so I couldn't use it. I received no response. I contacted Amazon and I was told I should contact Proactiv and provide my proof of purchase. I called Proactiv and after being on hold for way too long, I was told the issue was an Amazon problem, not a Proactiv problem. I suggested to the friendly but completely not helpful CSR that Amazon probably didn't manufacture Proactiv lids and didn't have a bin of lids they could easily pop in the mail, so if Proactiv could pretty please mail me a lid (not the product, just the lid!) that would be great. I was told sorry but no. Saying sorry doesn't fix what was a straightforward and easy-to-fix issue. Regardless of where I bought the cleanser, putting a cap in an envelope and mailing it to me would have solved this problem, which is the point of a customer service department. Not only did Proactiv not do anything to retain a customer with a gesture of goodwill, but I was asked by customer service to help out quality control by providing a lot number. The ol' "we won't help you but, hey, would you help us?" Seriously? No, I won't. And I won't buy a Proactiv product ever again. What has the world come to if a company can't throw a 1 cent piece of plastic in the mail?

The company offered a set of the creams etc which was approx £24. What they didn’t make clear was that this was a three min monthly agreement of creams at £24 each month.
Tried to cancel and they would not have it. Very sharp and I’m sure illegal consumer practices. I’m referring this to the appropriate consumer services department. Btw, the product is cr*p.

I have read these reviews and agree with the content however, when I called my bank to cancel this subscription they advised the company can request the money by changing their name slightly and it be paid, the best way to stop all payments is to request a new card. The advert is a con stay well clear and if you do want this product Boots stock it in their larger stores and possibly on line don't be sucked in with these offers they are a con. The customer service is atrousious if you can get them.

In agreement with you all I ordered proactive to start with which was fine I saw a difference for a while just seems to do nothing now. I then had another delivery then apparently I was locked in to a three month contract to which they were taking £29.99 for For 3 months last payment being nov now in between this I’ve called three times to cancel the first person said it had been cancelled I had a feeling just by his cockiness he had not so I gave it a day then called up again to a girl saying oh sorry the last person didn’t cancel I’ll do it now again she didn’t ! So I contacted my bank to block any future payments that they will try to take ! So at the moment I owe £29.99 I haven’t heard from them or had any letters and I won’t be calling up to pay as they don’t really seem to care when I’ve asked for something so they can sod off . Stay away from the company just awful !!!!

My boyfriend ordered 2 months ago for a trail for my skin after seeing it advertised on tv, it did not work just caused more breakouts and irritated my skin, we did not know about a monthly subscription until they charged him over £30 for the month after
So he rang pro active and cancelled the next box, they still sent another box and charged him yet another 30 odd pound even though he rang and spoken to someone and had it cancelled, they did the same this month too.
Not impressed will be ringing again tomorrow!

This company is a complete joke
This company is a complete joke. They are taking advantage of customers and misleading them. When placing an order I stupidly assumed I was making a one off payment for a 30 day supply of products, I just wanted to try the products out. Little did I know I was entering into a 90 day roll on contract of full price products. As Proactiv conveniently pointed out this is stated on their website, but for someone with little time to read every bit of small print, perhaps some documentation with the order or even an email stating what would happen would have enabled me to opt out. Instead after numerous emails and calls, they tell me its now too late to get my money back. The customer service is also lacking, after realizing my mistake and confusion because I felt like this 90 day supply was a mistake on their behalf, I was met with condescending employees who didn't really care. Its shown on the website so that's that, well I will not be ordering anything from them again and I would warn others to know what they are getting themselves into as well.
