Chefs Kitchen knife

Great store, very friendly
Went to the Guildford store recently. Friendly staff.
We brought some springform cake tins which are fabulous quality. Also a tea pot which is very sturdy and good quality it’s large enough to 4 cups which is what we wanted. However, the only down side is that the tea caddy bit inside doesn’t go down far enough so you can’t make just 2 cups as the water level doesn’t go high enough to cover the tea leaves. You end up using more water and excess tea in order to maintain strength. Disappointed!

Two staff members
Two staff members, male was quite abrupt, not friendly & not offering assistance. Female staff member was much more approachable.
Shame as I would have spent more if customer service was there enough to walk out from behind the cash desk to serve & give advice.

The staff were polite and friendly and very helpful. I was after a bread knife and the initial suggestion was a ProCook Professional Chef Bread Knife X50. I was happy with this, except it turned out there were none on the shelf, so an alternative was suggested and your man went to the store room to retrieve one. On returning, he had found the last X50 in the shop so happy with that. Guarantee was set up. I'm very pleased with the knife, a vast improvement on the knife I had been using, cuts through the crustiest bread like a hot knife through butter. Excellent!
