Don't buy a ceramic frying pan
With advice from a customer assistant in the Oxford shop I chose a ceramic frying pan. Sadly when I got it home and read the back of the label (not visible before purchase) it said the ceramic surface was not suitable for frying - especially at anything above a medium heat. Why call it a frying pan then??
It was clear the assistant did not know this as we explained what we wanted it for.
