Had the best 5 weeks, i felt so comfortable the entire time and loved every second! i had such a close relationship with my host families and cant wait to go back and visit them all. i felt so supported by the staff at all times, they showed me where i could find anything i would need. even on the weekends, i knew they were only a message away and would do whatever they could to help. Their recommendations were so helpful and they even took their time to help me plan my weekends to make the most of my time there. I honestly cant wait to do another project with projects abroad

I did a two-week medical internship in Nepal with Projects Abroad and gained a lot of knowledge and insight, both medically and culturally. From the very beginning, I received amazing support from my supervisor, Soufiane Mbarki, who made the preparations smooth and stress-free. Once in Nepal, the coordinators were always available and supportive, quickly resolving any small issues that came up. I felt well looked after throughout my stay, and my host family made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a very positive and valuable experience that I can highly recommend.

My experience with Projects Abroad was amazing from start to finish! The communication via email and whatsapp was extremely prompt before and during my trip. I did the archeological course in Peru and we learnt so much, saw so much and I loved every second of it! Thank you to the team for making it such a special and memorable experience :)

I participated in a medical volunteer, but there was a scene where I had to wait standing for about 2 hours without doing anything at the hospital, which was a pity. Also, even though I participated in the high school program, I had to volunteer until around 24 o'clock, which was physically difficult. When eating out, the two of us were told to eat one dish, and the amount of food was not enough.
However, the hotel I was staying at was clean, so I spent time." On weekends, I was able to visit places rich in nature, and it was a great memory because I had experiences that I couldn't do in my own country.

Everything!
The food and accommodation was great.
The experience that I spent in the hospital and outreach was so valuable. I learnt many things that I cannot learn in Japan!Weekend's activities are also great!
To sum up, My experience of Projects Abroad in Tanzania was much better than I expected!Thank you!

Thanks to this program, I could improve my mental skills and learn about the idea of nature in Nepal.
It was a great time to understand Nepal`s culture and passion.

Project abroad was really supportive all the time during my project. Also, I experienced many things and learned a lot from the culture of Philippines. All the people and mostly the kids were kind and energetic. Even though the environment wasn’t good enough to study , they shared with each other and kept on studying by finding creative ways.

My daughter recently returned from 2 weeks in the Galapagos with Projects Abroad. She had the most wonderful time. She got up close to lots of wildlife including the giant tortoise, turtles, sea lions, sea iguanas on the beach as well as boobies. The team were kept busy for their two weeks with lots of activities so they were not bored. Although I think my daughter had enough machete experience by the end of the two weeks 😂.
Given there were 3 flights each way, we took advantage of the option for a chaperone on the flights. That really helped give us peace of mind for the journey. The chaperone met us at Heathrow airport and was with the group for their entire trip, meeting us back at Heathrow 2 weeks later. She was great and we were reassured that our daughter was in safe hands.
All in all, this has been a truly memorable experience for our daughter and one she will never forget. She’s already looking at options for next summer and can’t wait.

I was provided with clear and accurate information about my project, including a list of items to pack, which was very helpful.

Extremely disappointed by this program
No community created - no visibility on the purpose and objectives of the 2 weeks
No connecting with other participants

Shark conservation in Fiji was a spectacular experience to me, especially being amazed by how I become really close friends with other fellow volunteers, and got to dedicate a lot of effort onto mangrove restoration, coral/species identification, and the renowned shark dive. Last time, I had the opportunity to participate in reef conservation at Koh Tao, Thailand. Though both of the experience were amazing, I loved more of how I could form a cute family with people around me~

First of all, it was a good trip for me and had lots of fun.We had plenty of activities in the weekends but I was bored in the weekdays during the program. There were nothing to do after school. Also in my school we didn't do anything exept for just watching the children.Other schools did things like painting or things, but we didn't.I wanted to do something that I can't usually do. We didn't know when to go home because the last kid goes hone at like3 or 4pm.This was also boring. We couldn’t go out so much because we were still kids and our host mother wasn’t home every time.Even we got out, there was just shops like those in Japan.I wanted more activities from the project abroad. And the most thing I wanna say is that I wanted to stay in the village. It was completely different and I wanted to feel more FIJI. In a bad meaning it was too comfortable in the town and had small differences from Japan.I heard that they had more interaction with the villagers and had many experiences.
Though I tried hard to make my time better and we could do that just by moving by our selves. That was a good experience for me but also there were limits too.
