It was just two weeks, but every day was fulfilling, and it became the best two weeks of my life. The staff and the members were all amazing, and I just had an incredibly fun experience.

This experience is awsome for a lot of reasons ;
First things first, Peru is a beautiful country, and the Amazionian rain forest is one of the most beautiful things i've seen in my entire life. At the Taricaya reserve, I felt useful and not like a random tourist, i felt like i was doing something really meaningful.
Everyone at the reserve was nice and friendly, and wanted to share their knowledge with us.
I did many things and different activities, from farming to building, or feeding the animals... Thank you to Taricaya Eco Reserve and Projects abroad for this amazing experience !

The project Galapagos conservation is not the quality that I thought. The activities were very poor and overrated in the description on the website. Beside that I think that free time could be better quality in the way we could spent time in a more fruitful way. At the end of all we mostly fed the giant turtle and cleaned the invasive plants. The project could have been more engaging and productive

This was an unforgettable experience for me. It was my first time visiting a developing country, and I was surprised to see that even basic infrastructure like traffic lights and roads weren’t in place. At the elementary school we visited, there were no windows or doors, yet the children were more full of life and energy than in any country I’ve seen before. Their spirit gave me energy too.

I was treated very well by the co-ordinators, incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my journey and overall experience straightforward with no stress. The rhino conservation project will be a memory to never forget, being in the forest seeing all the mammals and birds in their natural habitat was a privilege.

I participated in a Microfinance project in Tanzania for two months, and simply put, it was a truly unforgettable, enriching, and joyful experience.
As part of the activities, I joined the Microfinance team to visit women's groups, conducted business interviews, and gave presentations to support their group enterprises. We also had opportunities to teach at local schools and juvenile detention centers, offering diverse and meaningful encounters.
While I felt some uncertainty in unfamiliar environments, every staff member and my host family in Tanzania provided warm support throughout my stay, making each day comfortable and fulfilling. I'm especially grateful for how the team encouraged me to pursue what I truly wanted to do within the project—including their kind cooperation in a crowdfunding initiative I ran independently.
The connections I built with local people have become invaluable treasures. Outside of the project work, I also met many wonderful people during everyday life and sightseeing, which made me fall even more in love with Tanzania.
Of course, there were difficult moments and harsh realities, but they served as eye-opening experiences that reshaped my perspective and taught me many essential human lessons.
I sincerely hope more people get the chance to experience this incredible journey in Tanzania. Personally, I recommend staying for at least one and a half months to truly immerse yourself in everything the experience has to offer.

An amazing experience overall. The coordinators were nice and the house we were located in was perfect. More over at the school it was impressive experience as we could really be with the kids and build a true relationship with them. Thank you, Project Abroad for this journey!

The staff was friendly and the work was fun. It involved you to be somewhat physical but most of the time it was easy. The turtles were amazing and releasing them was magical. The food could of had more variety

Our 16 year old daughter has just returned from a high school project special conservation project in Kenya and absolutely loved it.
She has made some brilliant friends from all over the world and embraced the entire experience with such positivity.
The support before the trip was great and prepared her well.
The local Kenyan staff were excellent. Unfortunately she was ill during her stay but was taken to a clinic for treatment for an infection that required intravenous antibiotics. Carol, the director for Kenya was absolutely outstanding - I WhatsApped her and she dealt effectively and quickly with some difficult logistics for our daughter who had to return to the clinic daily, an hour’s drive away.
The trip itinerary was incredible and everyone was really well taken care of. They saw so much incredible wildlife - lions, giraffes, zebras every day.
Food was varied and plenty of fruit and vegetables.
All in all highly recommended!

Everyone is there to make a difference. Travelling alone can be daunting, but when you have friendly faces waiting outside the airport for you it makes the nerves ease. Doing this experience makes you realise how different parts of the world live, and it’s a good way to embrace others culture while also making a difference. Projects abroad helped me every step of the way in my application, from when I first arrived to my last day.
