The ability to get my problem with a tenant across to thousands of other landlords was extremely helpful. Discussing it with others who had actually been in the same situation and how they dealt with it was very useful and would not have been possible without Property 118.

A very useful forum for the private landlord in particular. Their daily emails are always interesting and I have posted a few things myself for discussion and feedback.

I used the site as a concerned tenant regarding incorrect action by the landlord relating to using a deposit scheme for pre 2007 deposits to have confirmation of what should have happened and also to highlight this issue to other landlords.

As a PRS Landlord in an ever-changing and complex regulatory minefield, I have found Property118 as a great source of knowledge sharing and exchange with other private landlords and rental property experts. A+++ community group and platform which I highly recommend to other private landlords.

As a landlord and tax professional, I can confidently say that Property118 is the single most useful online platform for anyone involved in UK property investment. Whether you’re a first-time landlord or managing a large portfolio, the depth of practical insight shared on the site is unmatched.
The articles are written by real landlords, accountants, solicitors, and industry experts —not faceless marketing teams —which makes the content both authentic and actionable. From Section 24 tax changes and limited company structuring to mortgage strategy and tenancy law, Property118 consistently delivers up-to-date, fact-checked, and relevant information that directly helps landlords make better decisions.
The community discussions are equally valuable. The comments often contain as much wisdom as the main articles, with professionals and experienced investors sharing their own case studies, tips, and even HMRC reference points. It’s a rare online forum where the tone is respectful, educational, and genuinely helpful.
The Property118 tax and structuring consultations are also worth highlighting, they’re delivered by experts who actually understand the complexities of property ownership, incorporation, and inheritance planning.
In short, Property118 isn’t just a news site; it’s a trusted knowledge hub and supportive community for UK landlords who want to stay compliant, maximise returns, and learn from the best.

Very professional and wonderful support. The world is not an easy place for property landlords and these folks stand proud imho.
Their legal victory against some building societies is stuff of legend.
Definitely the landlords friend with professional advice supported by Barristers.
Their group is open to all opinions with lots of landlords and experts giving their opinions on the many challenges we face.
Of course this type of group has made its enemies because of it challenge to "the so called system" something society seems to be witnessing on many fronts at the moment.

I was looking for information on the Distress for Rent Act and found a valuable article on Property118. I then noticed I could also share the issue I am having with my tenant, leave comments and ask questions. I did. A couple of days later my article was published and has received comments and answers from numerous landlords and experts in the field that really helped me out! It was such a relief to finally understand exactly what the best thing for me to do is. I am now taking action, found the right solicitor and proceeding with a and double rent claim. So thank you!

News relevant to landlords is posted quickly. Articles posted by Property118 are well worded and sound advice. Some advertorials are a bit biased but are clearly labelled. There is a good body of well-informed people commenting on the articles and giving peer support. Renters are not often represented but are allowed to comment.

Consistently good, ethical, professional interactions with clear communication, transparency and courtesy. For those, like me, with limited knowledge in this field, the breadth and depth of information and resources freely available has been and continues to be invaluable. Highly recommended
