As always, excellent and quick service.

The manager at this garage was extremely polite and I felt he really tried to accommodate and got the work done. I was as also watching him deal with other customers whilst I was waiting and his attitude was great. I’ve been around car garages all my life so I have an insight. Credit where it’s due.

Good service by nice polite helpful staff

I have been using this garage for three consecutive years no and very happy with their service.

Visited earlier this week and needed a new tyre urgently. Have never visited this garage before, so naturally did not know where to park. The car park was full so I drove in towards the work shop. Car behind me beeping and flashing lights - it was raining and visibility wasn’t great so I assumed it might have been someone on the high street beeping. I pulled forward to create more room. Waited around 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me ( I explained that I had an appointment with them and asked where to park my car) and the chap I spoke to said to just leave the car parked up where it currently was. I questioned this as I had heard a lot of beeping and they responded by saying it was their colleague trying to get past me…..
same colleague comes racing in round the other way in their car , gets out of their car and says loudly “ ignorant c***” . I thought surely that couldn’t be me he was referring to. Parked the car up and tried to see where the office was (again never been here before) chap I spoke to beforehand just gestured in the direction of it and wouldn’t help. Eventually went into the office area and again the same man came in saying “ignorant c***” and drinking coffee but wouldn’t look in my direction slamming about the place. Really intimidating as a woman on your own , would’ve appreciated him just approaching me and asking me to move for him. Wouldn’t advise going on your own as a woman ….

On the other hand the two men on the desk were helpful and friendly. Shame it wasn’t them that I had to deal with outside. 1 person completely ruined the entire experience. So unprofessional.

Although I’ve been in the area for 3 years - I never thought to use this garage. Needed an MOT and the main dealer was more expensive, so went with Protyre.

Stupidly, I put the wrong date in my calendar, so missed the appointment I had paid for. But, one call and the garage were more than accommodating to change the date.

On the day - they said 1 hour and on the hour I got a phone call to say the car was ready.

Looks like a typical garage but staff are efficient, pragmatic and accommodating.

I will use them again.

Friendly team and always do a great job

I am a long standing customer but this time I used you things seem to have changed. The team were stressed and clearly understaffed, by vehicle was not ready at the agreed time and I was left with a warning light on my car and had to return. Other customers were arriving whilst I was there and being told their bookings were not at the times they had agreed. Not sure what is happening but it was not as good an experience as I have had in the past. I like to use local businesses but they need to return to Kiplings service levels

Efficient , cost effective MOT and service

Booked a service and MOT at Bushey. The MOT was done prior to service and was failed. Was advised that the repairs would cost more than the car was worth. I was advised to scrap the car. The service wasn't carried out. I thought it odd to carry out the MOT prior to the service given the whole point of the service is to fix things and ensure the MOT is passed!

One of the major faults was the windscreen washer providing insufficient liquid. I thought that was odd given I'd used it very recently so checked to find there wasnt enough liquid and once topped up it was all good. Another fault was no rear fog light which I did question the staff on given it had passed the MOT the previous year at this very garage - they said the previous guy wasn't as thorough etc. My car is imported so the rear fog light is in the cluster and accessed via an aftermarket switch, thus another thing failed that shouldn't have been! I therefore decided to get a second opinion to find that there was only two faults that was easily fixed - wheel bearings and a front position bulb needed replacing. The shock absorbers that also failed MOT were fine! It has now passed.

I had just had a baby (literally two weeks before this!) and had I listened to this garage I would be without a car stressing about financing another which isn't great normally but postpartum even worse! Huge part of me wonders if the outcome would have been different had a male taken the car in!

On 14th December 2024 my 81year old mum paid for her service and mot , collected her car and happily drove away.
At that point, she would have likley given a 5star review.
11 months later, having had a reminder from the DVLA her tax renewal date was approaching, she couldn't find her mot.
On Saturday November 8th 2025, she drove to the garage to obtain a copy.
On arrival she was shocked to find that the work she had paid for had never been done.
3 days later they have done the mot at their cost and a basic service too.
Now perhaps my mum should have checked the work had been done and insisted on seeing the mot, but she just trusted that what she had paid for had been done.
I've been in and asked for an explanation as to how this happened, especially given the seriousness and the potential implications.
So far, I havent had a call.
I wonder how many others, this may have happened too

This company does not answer the phone; they must be so busy they don't have time to answer the phone, also long wait to get any work done. This is the last time i am using them , the service just gets worse every year, time to move on to another garage, had better service at le cramer also in bushey

Brilliant in replacing my tyre for a good price and accommodated my being slightly late despite being super busy.
It was SO REFRESHING to have a pleasant conversation with the chap on the desk (Rees?) who has retained the ability to talk to people of all ages and backgrounds and this alone made the 90 minute round trip worth it in a time when people often don’t bother making an effort! Thank you
