Absolutely fantastic service when I unexpectedly had to call in due to a tare in my tyre. I was seen to straight away & was quoted a very good price. The young man that served me was friendly, professional & understanding & ensured I was worry free by checking the rest of my tyres for peace of mind. 5 stars from me & can highly recommend.

After booking my MOT with Protyre, they contacted me with an alternative time due to a cancellation. On my arrival, the staff dealt with my vehicle promptly & were able to rectify the tyre MOT failure on the spot. Hello everyone! This is all real and nothing has been added to the mix.

On Saturday the 10th of January I went to Walkers Tyres on Narborough Road to see if they could repair my tyre as I was losing air, I was told it wasn't repairable as it’s got foam inside the tyre.

I would need to replace it with a new one, so I went online and ordered a new tyre and Walkers was my nearest garage to fit so I selected them, the earliest fitting was for Wednesday the 14th of January and I selected 10am.

I arrived on Wednesday at 10am only to be told that the tyre hadn't been delivered to Walkers Tyres and they would give me a call when it arrives, (they had no intentions of calling me) bearing in mind there's a nail in the tyre and I was losing air (I did put in air before leaving home) ..

I got onto the phone with Black Circle Tyres (where the tyre was ordered from) and was told that the tyre was there but it wouldn't been fitted as it's a big tyre (275) and the tyre fitter is off sick until February, this could have saved me a lot of inconvenience if this information had been given to me on my initial visit on Saturday.

Surely there's more than one tyre fitter at Walkers who is competent to fit a size 275 tyre, considering it's a tyre change and not an engine overhaul and Walkers are supposedly tyre fitters.

So guys and girls I'll let you make your own minds up but it would be interesting to hear other people's experiences of Walkers Tyres on Narborough Road.

Always had a good experience here,friendly and helpful staff,clear on prices,no hidden costs or surprises. I would recommend to anyone. Great job well done.

As soon as I arrived the M.O.T was started virtually straightaway. When I returned after about an hour everything was complete, the paperwork had been compiled and I was on my way. Great service by all concerned. I would definitely recommend it to motorists.

I got my front wheel alignment don’t at Protyre but when I left the garage it still felt the same as before I went in. Tried to call back multiple times to see if they could sort it out but got no answer. Avoid if you want to be ripped off. I also think they charge a high amount of £50 for a terrible job. What a joke of a company and from the look of there reviews it’s not the first time. I Will never give them my custom again that’s for sure!

Ordered two tyres and a tracking check, which when I got to the garage were 2.5hrs apart as determined by your system. An amount of time I could not wait…Lee cancelled the appointment and rearranged it for a time when they were both together. Turned up the second time and it was seamless. I was all done well within the hour.

Fitted me in last minute as i had a slow puncture. Great service!

Friendly and fast service, got me back on the road in no time and was competitively priced.

I got a very quick appointment and the staff were very courteous.
