Ok but questionable approach to costing
Used Protyre Southam a few times now - no real gripes about the workmanship but the upcharging / price padding gets a bit frustrating. You have to know what you want/need and be prepared to challenge the proposed works and cost. This is particularly annoying when the prices are clearly presented online, but for some reason are inflated on-premise.

Friendly reception & offered a good reasonably priced tyre for my needs. Whilst waiting I was offered a welcome coffee. Just over forty minutes & my car was ready.

Booked and paid online for 4 tyres
Booked and paid online for 4 tyres, several days in advance. On arrival we could not find the security wheel socket. I rebooked for the following day (and I obtained a new socket). Received a call in the morning to say no tyres available, so clearly also didn’t have the tyres the day before.
I rebooked for the following Saturday. On arrival they said I wasn’t in the system and I was the third 10:00 customer and they only had one fitter, so could I rebook! No, I had driven too far so they needed to sort it. They tend to asked if the tyres were for the front or back (the clue is 4 tyres).
I got the job done, but their systems and processes are chaotic.
I would have asked for a full refund and taken my business elsewhere, but knew that they are the main distributor for tyres in the region, so they would provide the tyres to other garages and hence a limited loss for their business.
Chaotic and disappointing.
