I researched pet insurance companies quite a bit before selecting Pumpkin Pet Insurance. As with any insurance, you should read the fine print so there are no future surprises.
I adopted my beautiful cat when he was 3 years old. My advice would be to get pet insurance prior to bringing your newly adopted pet to the vet, because it is possible that you may have adopted a pet that may have issues that the animal shelter was not aware of.
My claim and payment were handled quickly. Thank you very much, Pumpkin! Between my first pet and my sister dying recently, it was a relief to have the over $2,500 vet bill of my second cat covered minus, of course, the deductible and percentage not covered by the option of coverage that I had selected when signing up for insurance.
