As a further review after leaving this gym, I received an email from the support team of this company to let me know that there was really no information that they could tell me regarding the investigation of harassment and threatening in their building during my workout, to simply be satisfied with a mere “please be assured this has been appropriately and formally addressed with the staff member involved and further training has been provided.” I received no contact from any investigator during their work, nor anyone else and it was concluded without anything other than my initial claim. The incident I was faced with was extremely serious, uncomfortable, traumatic and it was not my fault at all, so this is extremely disappointing to see. The further claims I made of my bag being searched for no reason from this manager was also completely ignored. So, they seem to feel that is an okay practice?

By all accounts, the manager gets a slap on the wrist and is still working in the gym perfectly fine which is concerning. Do not come to train in Puregym Croydon or any other Puregym for that matter. From the HR team to the managers on the ground running the gym they do not care about you or your well being. They want your money and when they realise you don’t need them and will stand up to and report their behaviour practices, you become a target and they will immediately terminate your membership to safe face.

Nana Duah is the name of the abhorrent Assistant Manager of Puregym Croydon who started this incident with me. He also had classes and PT sessions with paying customers all around the gym often and probably still does, it’s quite interesting to see the characters this company trust and put in charge of these facilities. He certainly showed his true self in that moment and I will not forget. He is irresponsible, unhelpful on multiple occasions deliberately and abusive. He should be held accountable. It’s not right that the paying customer who did nothing wrong is the one who needs to be faced with his problems.

I do not recommend Puregym to anyone. Being comfortable, feeling safe and not being bothered from aggressive behaviour is a normal expectation of a gym and Puregym failed. You should find somewhere else to train where the safety comes first. I’m sharing my experience as a grown man who is quite strong and fit and it still happened to me. So it will likely happen to you also. Apparently, only after all of that seriousness is “further training” provided.

It’s where my amazing PT works so I have joined but it’s not very clean and the toilets are the most disgusting I have encountered in quite some time . There is a reek of urine and faeces in there all of the time . The music is very loud and pretty awful .

Pure gym BeaufortPark is quite a popular and busy environment, what comes with that is more riff-raff.The management and staff are gradually weeding out the weeds and it is becoming a much more orderly and pleasant place to train in. I would say there is plenty of room for improvement.

Great gym all round

First visit to a pure gym, in fact my first visit to a commercial gym. Found the facilities to be extremely clean and presented really well. Selection of equipment was excellent and plenty of staff available if needed.

Pure gym Droitwich is a good gym in my opinion , The Manager Joe is always approachable, & helpful to my needs .
As a pensioner I was apprehensive, but I needn’t of worried .
There’s a wide variety of gym equipment, you can always ask for guidance, or attend different classes .,

Reported an issue with the app and had a response promising a fix within 2 days. It’s refreshing for me, as a user, to be recognised and respected in this way. I’ll look forward to seeing the fix in operation 😄👍

Man, I'm absolutely furious. Watch out for their payments!! This is the 3rd time I’ve fallen for this :( I temporarily didn't have money in my account, so the payment failed. Supposedly they let you know via email and you can pay with an extra +£5 fee :D but their emails go straight to my spam folder. And if they retry and take the money themselves, it's an additional +£15, so that’s a total of +£20 added to the bill. That doesn't make it a cheap gym anymore, considering the normal rate in Nuneaton is £28. So my bill ended up being £48 :(

Also, watch out for membership freezes—it's a scam!! There are limits and hidden costs :D You're better off just cancelling the payment. I cancelled my membership, they can go jump in a lake.

Trying for days to change the bank details of my direct debit and impossible to do that. The system does not work...there is no on..NOOO ONEE to speak to and solve this issue. What tfck a company this size has no commitment to treat their clients with respect and attention. FAQ and AI assistants are the most useless thing in this planet. We have enough people to work and needing money. Companies are driven and focused in increasing profit by decreasing quality

I have been going to this gym for several years now and I continue to be amazed by how friendly the staff are (Area manager Ian and Site Manager Rob & many other very nice colleagues), how CLEAN it is, how well ventilated it is (it never smells :) and how pleasant it is to work out there.

Even though I am in my 60s, I never feel out of place, and today when I forgot my bike lock; they actually brought it in for me, so it wouldn't get stolen!! Can't beat that kind of service.

I have been a member at many other gyms (in Edinburgh and elsewhere) but this is by far the best!

I inadvertently cancelled my DD when I noticed and emailed member services they decided to cancel my account. Not sending a DD form by post or email. So now I cannot reinstate , shocking service

Did a Ride class with Seth, my first one ever. He was a brilliant instructor, informative and friendly afterwards and gave me some good advice regarding my fitness journey.

Staff member Amy, i have to say she is a credit to pure gym,every time I have visited Amy has always been busy,looking after members meeting their needs,amy always busy busy busy stocking machines, cleaning down machines, hoovering ,checking vital huygene products for gym users,making assessments for the benefit of others,what a cracking example to other colleagues of how this ship is run.
Amys dedicated is incredible.
I can only hope she will be rewarded by the company and appreciates her boundless efforts.
