Had an excellent class with Michael Hadfield.Michael was brilliant at helping to adjust us during our workouts and gave great guidance. He even gave me a couple of exercises to do to help with my tennis elbow.A true credit to Pure Gym.

Always a huge variety of machines to use for all the muscle groups, clean, well maintained and a great atmosphere

I go to the gym for my mental health, and my local gym is PureGym Airdrie. While visiting Cumbernauld, I noticed the PureGym at Cumbernauld Retail Park, so I decided to pop in for a workout.I really enjoyed my visit! The gym has a lovely layout, with a great selection of equipment, and I felt comfortable working out there. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely pop in again whenever I’m in the area.Thank you, PureGym Cumbernauld! 💪😊

Colchester Pure Gym, tbh you get what you pay for until the prices went up! Old equipment poorly maintained usually when a machine breaks its for weeks, everything is sticky(god knows what diseases are bubbling away) or rust forming, the one good PT they had left so either end up with confused geriatric PT’s or college fresh can’t be bothered teens, if you book a class for a specific PT it likely changes last minute, the rules board is a joke and certainly not policed! Builders in muddy boots grunting etc… Definitely better cleaner gyms close by with newer equipment for the same or less money depending times

Paid a visit to Pure Gym Airdrie on 17th September . Hadn’t been for a few weeks as had injury . Mood was low as I love the gym as it not only helps me physically but mentally . I was back today for PT with Jamie but was early for my session and was feeling nervous due to not moving for a few weeks . I was greeted with other PT Amanda who instantly put me at ease when I explained what had happened . Amanda listened to me and think that was all I needed to set me up for a great session with Jamie . Kindness costs nothing and Amanda always shows this and shows great qualities to have in a gym setting . Even someone saying “hello , how are you “ ? can make a big difference to your day . Even after my PT session she was complicating how strong I was looking and doing well . Sometimes all you need is a bit of kindness and reassurance . Thanks Amanda

Because of these idiots ive not been able to register my car for the 3rd time in 4 months.
Im already fighting 2 fines because of this gym now im expecting a third fine.
Get your heads out of your backsides puregym so i can register my car.im sick to death of the fines piling up.
When i contacted them they said good luck.its thier bloody computer. Sick and disgusting of you. Are you making money on my fines ?

Zeenuba at Brentford PureGym is a wonderful and great PT. She has helped me build by confidence in weightlifting and getting to my goal of being stronger. I felt so daunted by weights and barbells and Zeenuba has given so much knowledge and know how to do this. I am still using Zeenuba to this day to continue my journey and improving on my fitness and wellness journey.

Very helpful manager & staff at Cardiff Central Puregym, dealt with one's request for use with the disability lift inside the gym. Kind and patient, updating one's membership was fast and efficient. Very grateful.

Always clean & equipment is maintained well.

Excellent customer service and extremely supportive. The gym is my happy place.

The app is APPALLING. Was staying with my dad who was seriously ill. Wanted to go to his local gym. Bumped up my membership. Then could not find a way to bump up further to add his local gym which cost more. Then thought I will try and revert membership, could see no way of doing it. Then thought would sign in on website. Password did not work. Tried password reset twice. No email came. The only help is through social media and this might take up to 24hours! I tried filling in a feedback box on the app and when you try to type the keyboard covers the box you type in and there is no way of getting to the cmsubmit box. The gym itself is fine. Why put all that effort into the gym only to alia age your customers with this awful app. You don't have customer service so it's important you get it right.

Just did Samer Haidar circuits and body tone class. What a great Trainer. Class was challenging but fun. Got alot out of his sessions including Strong Nation class he does on Sunday morning. Hes an amazing professional trainer and a great asset to Pure Gym Burnham.Keep up the good work Samer 💪

Had an issue with my membership so I decided to go into the gym and speak with a manager. My query was resolved professionally and promptly. The managers at Leeds City North are amazing the gym runs seamlessly with both Kyle and Damian in charge. Many thanks.

recently considered switching to PureGym, but now I refuse and I'll be discouraging anyone else from doing so.

The treatment of a client of yours in Brighton over 'concerns' raised relating to your changing room policy is unacceptable and transphobic. Even if you think your policy covers yourself in light of the contradictory legal landscape that is currently being challenged in the courts (ALL people, trans people included, are entitled to not be excluded from public life, which this policy violates) there is no legal way to enforce this policy, and nothing in the law OR the EHRC guidance that states how or even WHETHER you should enforce it, since it is impossible without gender policing, which is exactly what your actions here constitute with your anxiety-inducing highlighting of transphobic 'concerns' and wishing to investigate a client's gender with a meeting.

The guidance is not the law. And I point you to:
Single-sex spaces should be offered where it is a “proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim”.
This means that providers should consider why the single-sex space needs to be single-sex (for example, for reasons of privacy, dignity, or safety).
If someone considers their 'privacy, dignity, or safety' to depend on the absence of trans people, then that is the definition of transphobia. It also discriminates against any cis person who 'looks' trans, and is self-defeating due to many trans people 'looking' cis and thus bothering transphobia people by being in the 'correct' biological changing room yet looking like the 'opposite' gender.

You are also guided to: “consider whether the disadvantage to trans people, and any other people who may be disadvantaged, outweighs the benefits of achieving the legitimate aim”.
If you have done so, even if we consider the aim to be 'legitimate', then you have chosen the comfort of transphobes over trans people's right to privacy, dignity, and safety, as well as their legal right to inclusion in public life.

Please let us know how you plan to address this issue and change this policy, or how you intend to prepare for legal action.

Total lack of gym etiquette by users which stems from the Puregym set up..no real staff , mediocre equipment and a management that fobs off genuine complaints with tacky and fake innuendo. Had experience running two gyms and there are a few markers that would not be tolerated - extensive mobile phone usage while sat on equipment , slamming weights down both free weights and on machines , discs, bars and dumbbells left all over the place and when put away nearly always not correctly , broken equipment not fixed for weeks..Just changed to the 'Gym Joint' in Bourne End nearby and that's how a gym should be..excellent staff , excellent equipment all round , clean , weights always returned to their place , and a high level of user quality..

Connor bridges (my p.t) is by far the best thing to ever happen to me he's literally extending my life by teaching me how to get fit and stay fit with his knowledge and support :) Been to a couple of classes with other staff that Were good too.

I have tried to get into contact with them so many times and they literally never respond. The service is honestly outrageous here, the fact that theyre quick to respond on trustpilot to my review but still havent replied to my 3 emails is a joke. The app is rubbish also, so Im simply asking to upgrade my account because it doesnt work on the app and theyre not even answering to help me do it. At this point I think Im going to change gyms.
