Never ever had a good experience

Never ever had a good experience with this company before or after the pandemic, always want to forego using their service, but some companies use them all the time without question. I would rather not order from a company that uses their service at all if need be with how unreliable they are. If this company goes bankrupt from their own ineptitude, I would not be surprised.

You can be sitting outside all day in good weather and the van will whizz past your house, then send a weather delay message. This company can rot for all I care.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Purolator delivery is the WORST - BAR NONE - delivery service and I wish they would either overhaul their drivers or just give upand sell out. We live in a semi rural area and at the least sign of inclement weather - even just rain - they will not deliver packages. If they do, they leave them at the bottom of our long driveway in the rain or snow or, even worse, by the mailbox at the side of the road! Often they say 'no one was home' when we are all retired and home all day AND have a 'signature not required' barcode on our door. I cannot express enough how bad their service is. We get deliveries from Firefly, GLS, Amazon, UPS, Fedex and more with literally no problem. It's absolutely ridiculous how terrible their drivers are. I wish businesses would stop using them and we can then finally get our packages again!

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Purolator’s service. Three separate times, the tracking was updated to “delivery attempted” or “not delivered,” even though we were home the entire day. No doorbell, no knock, no phone call — nothing. It’s very frustrating to wait for important packages only to see a false delivery attempt notification.

This feels careless and unprofessional. Customers shouldn’t have to rearrange their schedules or chase down packages because drivers don’t properly attempt delivery. I expect much better reliability and honesty from a courier company.

I would not recommend Purolator based on this experience.

Can't find my house 4 times this year

For the fourth time in 12 months, Purolator cannot find my house, despite Canada Post and all other carriers having no problem. I have asked Purolator to add a correction to their map system, they have failed to do so. And when you get the dreaded "Address Correction Required" notification, you can look forward to 45 minutes + wait time on hold to explain your address to them.

Package stuck for 13+ days with…

Package stuck for 13+ days with repeated “weather delay” excuses while conditions are perfectly normal in my area. Multiple follow-ups with customer service led nowhere — no clear updates, no accountability, no delivery. Extremely frustrating experience and not reliable for time-sensitive shipments.

No notices for medical packages

Twice in two weeks Purolator tried to deliver packages and did not leave a notice. These packages contained medications and medical supplies. I received no tracking numbers and had to wait until business hours to contact the shipper. I will never use this company and will lodge complaints about them to my shippers who will, I hope, change companies

Worst courier company ever

I frequently order things from Amazon and purolator loses packages, misdirects them or just leaves them sitting at the depot without any movement at all. They are not a courier at all. More like snail mail. I have waited 14 days now for a package and it is still not here.
This package is not international, it simply had to come from ontario to bc. It is pathetic that they call themselves a courier company. Stay away from ordering through them if you don't have to.

Don't use Purolator!

Have a package that was supposed to be delivered February 19. Of course that doesn't happen. Then they post that it's delayed due to weather. Which is crap, the roads are all open, clear and no issues. Then I called customer support. Told them I'll just pick up the package since it's been in Regina for 2 days. They tell me that's not an option. They can change it for pickup, but that takes days to go through. Quickest way is when it goes for delivery. The next day I look online. Still not eta for delivery. Says it's still in Regina, no updates. I checked again 2 hours later and all of a sudden it says out for delivery, then a delivery attempt with no recipient available. So no attempt was even made, no notice left. Now I call back, pissed off that this is such a nightmare. I'm told they'll attempt a redeliver in 4 days! This is ridiculous. It's already late. Now it's been changed to be delivered to one of their "pick up location" in 3-5 days. So my package will be late a week. What's the point in using this courier, paying a premium for faster delivery when this is the garbage they pull. Even Canada Post is better than these guys and that's setting the bar very low. I would never give these guys a penny.

Garbage company

Garbage company. They dont even try to deliver. They just bring packages to their facilities and make customers go pick it up. All companies should stop paying for their fake carrier services.

Flowers delivered were left outside in…

Flowers delivered were left outside in -24 weather. Courier driver did not text or call when delivery was made, as well they did not ring the doorbell or knock notifying the recipient of the delivery. Proof is on the doorbell cam. She dropped the package took a picture and left. I believe this driver left these flowers in her vehicle overnight.

I was contacted by Purolator after leaving a bad review. I sent a video proving the driver did not ring the doorbell or knock on the door.
I got a reply back saying that Purolator does not offer heated services and that it’s WINTER.

For starters they don’t deserve a 1.
This is the worse experience I’ve ever had with a delivery company, it’s surprising they’re able to keep a company running with the kind of service they have.
I ordered lacquer from Dartmouth, NS on Tuesday, the truck picked it up around 4pm that evening and here it is Thursday morning at 9:30 and still nothing, still have a notice that they stopped delivery because of bad weather from last evening which there wasn’t .
Needless to say , never again will these people get my business.Hopefully people will see these reviews and go elsewhere.

Seriously the worse experience I had…

Seriously the worse experience I had for delivery, they’re liars, saying they couldn’t deliver cuz "receiver not accessible" dude. Someone was at home all day waiting and it’s not even a big building it’s just simple apartment. There was no trouble in the street or whatever like the ai agent told me it could be. I bet the driver were just lazy. And now im still waiting with absolutely no freaking updates or accessible agent to tell me wtf is going on

Wouldn't know where to start w the terrible conversing w an online rep. Or the over 34 minute wait before i was even able to speak to a customer service rep that didn't listen, rudely interrupted me. Argued with me about my not being sent an SMS from their company to my cell. I them attempted to read at the bottom of the email they sent me that they do in fact send an SMS notification. Rudely interrupted...
After 9 failed attempts to access through the link purolator provided me to track my package I attempted to have a civil conversation w the service rep. That was a real disappointment.
They also refused to provide any approximate time frame for the delivery.
Which likely means I more than likely will now have to travel all the way to their purolator office at the other end of the city for my package pick up.

Worse experience

I paid 3 times more to get 1 document in one day delivery. And today it's 5th day already and I have absolutely no clue about my parcel. Nothing on website and no positive answer from customer service center. Worse nightmare in 24 years of business.

Privacy Concerns

I was receiving texts and updates about a package for me that was ready for pickup around the corner.

I hadn’t ordered anything and the hub said nothing arrived from purlator.

My number and location was being used and I contacted purlator who, after much prying, said oh that’s for someone else on your street. Was there a breach in privacy? Why was all of my information assigned to someone else’s account?

The agent refused to address it and said if I think I’m a victim of fraud to contact a government agency… he would not let me talk to anyone else about it or whether my information was compromised. He was extremely condescending.

Purolator Claimed a failed attempt to…

Purolator Claimed a failed attempt to deliver my amazon package when I was home the enire time. I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes and then on hold for 14 minutes for an agent to find out that no they didnt attempt a delivery at all instead the packages that are less than 10lbs each and are only 96x2x2 inches cant be delivered without an appointment and they cant tell me when they will call or attempt to deliver. When asked about delivery expectations I was told unless you pay for express they don't have any expectations and that was repeated back by the agent that Purolator have no service expectations when an item is shipped ground and they can book an appointment at their convenience when ever they get around to it.
