Got email notification that I missed…

Got email notification that I missed the delivery of a parcel and I would have to contact them using virtual assistant to find a drop location to pick it up. Went down the Purolator rabbit hole with the assistant for few minutes until it told me there was no one available to talk to. I then called and waited until someone answered and was told that even if I missed the delivery and got notification that I would have to pick it up at drop location that they could not tell me where that location was for some time. So wait!
No idea why anyone would use a company like this??

Was supposed to have my package on the 11th

Was supposed to have my package delivered yesterday and on Tuesday they marked it as a "rail delay". I spoke to someone at Purolator around 9am and it is now close to 3pm, no update on my shipping or where my freaking package is. So I ordered and paid for a modem and Internet service for them to screw me over for what? This is infuriating because I can't even get it moved to another shipping service that actually lets me track my order, they also say it's in "Richmond". which one?!?!? There's one in BC and in Ontario. The one in BC I live right across the bridge and shouldn't have been delayed still. I just want answers and not a round about.

Absolutely atrocious!
We paid $95.00 to have a package delivered within two days.
The driver didn’t even bother to knock on the door.
Didn’t stop… I’m not what he did all day long as my package sat in his truck, undelivered.

Then at 4:56, as I’m speaking with the disappointed recipient of the undelivered package, I check on the tracking update.
Litterally at 4:56 a message appeared that he attempted delivery but no one was home.

absolute bullocks!

So I call the 888 customer service number and waited for almost 3 hours to hear, “ sorry ma’am but we can’t guarantee delivery”
WHAT?
You’re a delivery service and asked me to pay you $95.00 for a guaranteed delivery!
Since it wasn’t delivered on the promised date, I insisted on the following day delivery.
Their solution? Drive to another town to pick up the package that they failed to deliver!
The recipient is 70 plus yrs old and doesn’t drive, so no, that’s not an option.
I insisted they deliver it the next day.
Again… “ we can’t guarantee it”
WTF!!
So here we are, patiently waiting to see if the package will magically arrive today as the tracking tells me that it’s back on the truck and out for delivery.

Also, this is the third time I’ve used purolator and the exact same thing happened.

They have lazy lying drivers.

I wouldn’t recommend them if they offered free service.
Don’t waste your time or money.
I know I won’t be again.

Always delivers to the wrong address, or doesn’t even attempt to deliver.

On almost every occasion that something has to be sent to me via Purolator, the package is either delivered to the wrong address or they just simply don’t show up at all and claim they attempted delivery. Then I have to either attempt to talk to their ai assistant or wait for hours on hold to speak to an agent about it. They lie and say delivery was attempted when it never was. No delivery notice left either. This often results in me having to travel towns over to some bizarre pickup location in an attempt to get my package. Terrible, untrustworthy company. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Worst courier service

This is the worst courier service I’ve dealt with. My package required a signature, and I was home, but the driver left a “missed delivery” note and told me to pick it up at the head office. I didn’t hear a knock or see anyone. They should notify you properly or call. I contacted customer service twice, and the same issue happened again. CHEAP and POOR SERVICE

Just the worst company ever

Just the worst company ever! I ordered from Sephora and it was supposed to be delivered today, Feb10. Right now it is 9:16 pm and nothing. The status of the delivery has not been updated since Feb 3. It is in transit since Feb 3!!!! I got my order delivered from Temu faster although it was shipped from China!!!! And you tell me bad weather conditions - just so you know the weather recently is really good - very sunny- not even a glimpse of wind. I’m frustrated - I will never order from Sephora again…. Puralater - please just close down your shitty company- everyone hâtes you.

Mid service

I was supposed to get my delivery today Feb 10, 2026, I ordered something on Saturday which I understood it wouldn’t be delivered on the weekends or Monday, I was excited and waited all day, 6pm, nothing, I continued waiting till 8:40 and now it’s 9pm and no more deliveries, my first time using this and this happens proving inaccurate information is quite annoying, and customer service doesn’t help, never available. And I also saw the truck twice my area yet was not delivered. (Coming back to edit my review, I’m most likely going to get it but definitely frustrating waiting all day for ur package just to not get it on the exact day but Vanessa is pretty helpful so it’s alright, just wish they were more on time

Very disappointing experience with this…

Very disappointing experience with this delivery company. I opened a case in January after my parcel was not delivered. After weeks of waiting, a staff member named Christian contacted me and explained the delay was due to weather. Since then, I received regular updates by email, voice note, tracking portal, virtual assistant, and customer representatives, all confirming that my parcel had been located and scanned at the Dartmouth Depot on Friday, 6 February, and that delivery would be arranged within 24 to 48 hours.

I was also informed that heavy weight deliveries are usually completed between Tuesday and Thursday, which I accepted in good faith. However, I suddenly received a message from another staff member, Jennifer, stating that the parcel could not be found. This directly contradicts all previous confirmations, including their own tracking system and social media response.

The lack of coordination, conflicting information, and failure to provide a clear answer about the true status of my parcel is unacceptable. Customers deserve accurate information and reliable service, not confusion and delays.

Worst experience

I normally do not have issues with deliveries via Purolator but this one really changed my view of the company.

I was expecting a package on February 6th for an item I needed on that day. Since it was urgent, I paid extra for expedited shipping. My building does not have a buzzer but a code is needed to enter the building. Given the sensitivity of the information (and the fact that the vendor did not have a field to add delivery instructions), I contacted CS via the chat option on the day the package was out for delivery. I contacted them at 9:30AM. Based on a package delivered to me in January 2026 via Purolator, I was told by a CS agent that I can only add delivery instructions when the package is on the vehicle for delivery, that way they can ping the driver for the instructions.

At 10:20AM or so, I saw that the tracking indicated incorrect address. So I reached out via chat again. They said the change takes 1 business day to be reflected. I called CS to check why this was the case since, after being on hold for 30 minutes, I was told that there was no option but to wait 1 business day (so, Monday) for it to be redelivered. I asked why this occured this time when I just had requested the same thing for a previous package. I was given a vague answer of "the driver may have not received your info right away" and "there are hundreds of packages the driver has to deliver." Apparently there is no workaround and they won't even be able to tell me if I can pick it up on the same day as they don't know if the driver will be back in the warehouse before 7PM.

Today, Tuesday, February 10, it was rescheduled for delivery. Tracking says attempted delivery - receiver not home. Okay, that's fair. I message chat again to speak with an agent. I get connected, sent the info they asked for, then the chat abruptly ended from their end. So I reconnect. Finally got through and was able to speak to another agent. Apparently the package requires signature. I asked for the info on the notice card they left - I'd prefer I be able to pick it up now as I really needed the item and I can grab it on my way home from work - CS agent said they do not have the info on where or when I can pick it up.

This experience has been very frustrating. CS is basically useless and cannot even give me accurate information. The instruction to communicate delivery instructions only when the package is on the vehicle is very misleading - there is an expectation that the information will be transmitted live and on time but apparently you need 1 business day to process this. And worst, I cannot even get a refund from the vendor for the expedited shipping fee I paid for.

Purolator PEI is the worst.

I paid to have small package 4lbs sent from NS to PEI. Paid for quick shipping which would have put parcel there within 2 days. So far it’s been a week and parcel has been sitting at a wharehouse with no attempt of delivery. Purolator in PEI has to be the worst managed in the country I’m sure of it. Purolator is the worse

I am extremely dissatisfied with Purolator’s delivery service and the lack of reliable information and support I received regarding my recent shipment.

According to the tracking information, I received an email at 8:05 a.m. stating that my package (2.55 lbs) was “out for delivery.” However, when I checked the tracking status again at 9:16 a.m., it had abruptly changed to “delivery could not be completed,” with no explanation provided.

I contacted customer service seeking clarification, but the representatives were unable to give any concrete reason for the failed delivery. Instead, I was given vague responses such as “maybe the truck was full,” which is not an acceptable or professional explanation. I then requested to pick up the package directly from the warehouse, but I was told I needed to wait until it was scanned again.

At 2:34 p.m., the tracking status finally updated to “arrived at sort facility.” Based on this information, I went to the warehouse at 6:30 p.m., only to be told that the staff could not locate my package and had no additional information beyond what was already visible online. They were also unable to provide any details about the driver, the delivery attempt, or what occurred during the day.

This is the second time in the past two years that I have experienced this exact issue with Purolator. Their tracking information has proven to be unreliable, and customer service has consistently failed to provide meaningful assistance or accountability. As of now, I still have not received my package.

This experience has caused unnecessary stress and anxiety and has significantly diminished my trust in Purolator. Based on my 2 experiences, I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and would not recommend Purolator as a delivery provider.

Delayed, Lost, Delayed for 3 weeks now - and Zero Compensation (with UDPATE)

The package was stuck in "a delayed train" for over a week with no updates. Then it was "missing" for several days. And it's at a "sorting facility" now but is delayed again, with no further details provided for the past three days. Even when speaking to an agent on the "chat" feature online. It seems to be the only way to get customer service. And they said they would call back within 24hrs with further details - and never did. I'd give a negative rating if allowed.

UPDATE

It's not 6 days later and after even speaking to an agent this morning, who assured me the package would be delivered right to my door, and even said they would call the drive to make sure this would happen, the package wasn't delivered - claiming wrong address and no room number when I confirmed it with the agent. Now I have no idea AGAIN where the package is, or if I'll ever see it. Could they try any harder to provide poorer service??

I was supposed to get my books today on…

I was supposed to get my books today on 6th February 2026 via express post. It was urgent. I called them a day before just to make sure that there isn’t any mistake for the address or how to enter the building or my unit number. And then I called today in the morning around 8:30 am to make sure they have all the up to date information. They said they put it in the system. But when the delivery came they did not deliver my package because there was no unit number mentioned in the system which is their failure because I called them couple of times to make sure they have everything right. But still managed to not deliver my package now they gonna do it again on Monday which will be too late for me.

Re: Livewire on University Avenue in Waterloo, Ontario: The staff at this location are very polite and helpful, but the facility itself is unacceptable. The space is extremely dirty, cluttered, and shabby. The “dumpster‑dive décor” and general disorganization make the location feel unsanitary and unsafe.
I’m honestly appalled that Purolator and other major shipping companies require customers to pick up their packages here. This environment does not reflect the standards of any reputable courier service.
Shipping companies should be vetting third‑party pickup locations before partnering with them. Clients should not be forced to enter a place that looks like a health and safety hazard just to retrieve their parcels.

Yesterday I was expecting delivery of a 50 inch television.

Yesterday I was expecting delivery of a television. Signed up to receive text messages and also a tracking number. Where I sit in my home I have a view of the street so I can see anyone arriving, Imagine my surprise to get a text message stating that delivery had been attempted and no one was home. Really? My son noticed someone walking up the path to our door. They weren't carrying anything and there was no Purolator truck parked in front of my house. The doorbell didn't ring, nor was there a knock on the door. Just a note 'lying' about how sorry we missed you. You didn't miss me as there were 2 people home at said delivery. You CHOSE to miss me.

No real time tracking, If doordash and instacart can haven them, why not a multinational shipping company?. tracking that not updated very often. 13hr delivery window, that's just insane. Ai chat that's absolutely useless. insanely long wait times to speak with an actual person and the page chat felt like the agent is trying to rush you to make quota

I’m extremely disappointed with the…

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Purolator. My package was delayed without clear explanation, tracking updates were inconsistent, and customer service was unhelpful when I tried to get answers. I spent far too much time following up on an issue that should have been handled properly from the start.

For a company that claims to be reliable, this experience was frustrating and stressful. Better communication, accountability, and respect for customers’ time are seriously needed. I would not recommend Purolator based on this experience.
