From the outset this firm had a very lackadaisical regard for attention to detail. They frequently sent me emails and forgot to include the attachments. On 1 occasion I had to contact them twice to get the attachment sent.
They repeatedly included a third party name on correspondence despite me informing them that I was making the purchase in my name only. They sent through a document with another person's name on it and when I called to complain they suggested that I score through the incorrect information.
The final straw was an email from them 48 hours before completion to advise me that they'd made an error in calculating the sum I had to pay and that there was an additional £11841.40 to pay before I could complete! 4 hours later this sum was reduced by £500.
I really cannot stress strongly enough how disappointed I was with the level of service I received from this company. They were recommended to me by the estate agents and to be honest had I read their reviews in advance I would have chosen someone else. I have sent a full review to my estate agents who have apologised and said they most probably won't recommend this company again.

Fantastic service from Davisons…

Fantastic service from Davisons Edgbaston.
A massive thank you to Eden and Selina, who were so professional in our new home move. They communicated very well and efficiently with us throughout the whole process.
We would highly recommend.

Simply superb!!!!!!!!

Simply superb. They managed the conveyancing for the sale of a property and the service from initial quotation to contract exchange was flawless. Annette French was fantastic and kept us informed of every step and was always available to help. Charlie Smalley helped setup the account and was also excellent. If you want a stress free sale managed by professionals ... call Quality Solicitors!!!!

Worst move in my whole life

If I could give 0 stars I would after the most stressful move in my life in 53years. Unreachable by phone. Unreachable by email. Passed between so many different legal colleagues. Totally unhelpful or interested. They were not my solicitors they were more interested in the estate agents and builders yet I pay their costs, I was their client. Worst mistake I made instructing this firm from the recommendation of the agents to purchase the property. I even pulled out of the purchase at one point because of them. The completion was terrible dropping a bombshell on me the afternoon before the completion what I had to do or else Id loose the purchase, how I got through it I don,t know and it actually ruined the excitement and happiness of the move and new house Id gone through hell for 1 5years to get too. They had no communication skills or interest in you as a human being at all. They were like heartless robots. Then the bill was astronomical without warning until the day before, I could have lost the house and my sale fall through if I hadnt have covered my back with money incase, and good job I did.Never going through this again with online Solicitors who treat you like a number not a client.Wished Id not used them or purchased the house! Now im selling up and going back HOME with a different firm!

It has been a pleasure working with Nisha Kainth

It has been a pleasure to work with Nisha Kainth. She handled my sale and purchase in a very professional manner and dealt with all our requests and urgencies to complete in under 4 weeks. Never have I experienced such a polite, helpful and understanding Conveyancer. She will be highly recommended as a competent and able person within your firm and should be merited for Her hard work.

Quality in every sense.

I've recently completed on a new build and was referred to Quality Davison's Solicitors by the builders and boy I'm so glad I was.

The level of service I received from Ryan Harding at Wolverhampton was absolutely top drawer.
Ryan made the whole process simple and always responded promptly and professionally to any question or query I threw at him, and believe me there were alot of questions asked.

I genuinely couldn't fault them.
So thank Quality Solicitors Davison's and in particular thank you Ryan.

Avoid this firm. Do not use them at all. Ever. For Anything.

If I could, I would give this appalling firm of 'solicitors' a zero star rating. From start to finish, the whole experience was frustrating, irritating, slow and stressful. We were recommended them by our mortgage advisor (who we trust having used his services for a number of years), but right from the very outset, it was clear they are not a 'quality' outfit at all.
Emails are not answered, phone calls are not returned and it was never clear who was dealing with our purchase. Towards exchange and completion, they also had the audacity to blame delays on our seller's solicitor. In the end, I had to get a our mortgage advisor to put pressure on QSD to act and get the sale completed. And to cap it all, I received today a penalty notice from HMRC for the late filing of the Land Transaction Return (LTR). They should have filed it 14 days after completion (so by the 18th August). When I spoke to HMRC today, it turns out the LTR was filed on the 21st January - quite unbelievable! I shall await a response to an email requested they pay the penalty charge. I won't be holding my breath.
The fact that 67% of review are 'Terrible' should ring alarm bells with the ombudsman. This firm should not be allowed to operate.
In summary, avoid this firm at all costs, even if you need to spend a bit more with a reputable firm. They are the most unprofessional organisation I have ever had to deal with.

Davisons had really helped me purchase of my property. They were so efficient and my special thank you goes to Samir Gulfraz who really made sure the top of the chain is chased on behalf of me and we could exchange and complete without and further delay. I really want to thank Samir and almas Begum for their hard work. Thank you so much and I will definitely be using you in near future and recommending you guys to family and friends. Do Not Use

Absolutely the worst experience using this firm. We have been frustrated to the point of tears - and sometimes actual tears - by them. Recommended by our developers when we reserved our house. We had to complain several times about how they are impossible to reach and ultimately would call various branches to try and find someone willing to take time to answer our questions. They left us unsupported and vulnerable throughout our buying process. They only bucked up their ideas after our complaints and then a warning we would escalate the matter as far as an ombudsman to get them to actually start providing a service. Only stuck with them because of the hassle and expense of starting again at the time.
Also, after agreeing to not charge us for an item that it was not disclosed would be charged for at the start; we found that amount in our final invoice. We called to ask why they'd added the charge back on after saying they wouldn't, and all they emailed back with was an explanation of the charge. Just one example of how they have been so difficult to deal with. We've had to pay this charge to avoid trouble completing on our home.
Again, this firm is impossible to reach. We felt they were not working on our behalf at all and are more there to make things smoother for the developer.
At the start we would have to call and leave messages for days for them to come back to us. You're lucky to reach assistants, and will speak to someone different everytime if you do reach someone. No individual care here. We were only finally assigned to one person to actually pay attention to us after we had to spend about a week calling around their whole company for help - as well as complaining to our developer about how they've recommended a firm that's caused us so much grief. We have the phone and email logs to prove how difficult it is to reach this firm.
We found out just a couple of weeks ago that this firm also spoke rudely about us to our developers - perhaps to try and cover up their lack of care. After all the trouble and anxiety they caused us; they then have the nerve to speak unprofessionally about us behind our backs to another company.
We could find more attention and quality service from a bored drive-thru attendant. And yet here this firm is supposed to be offering us legal advice and services on the purchase of a home. There's quite a bit more at stake when purchasing a home than choosing your morning brew. This firm does not seem to understand the difference or care. We expected that at minimum they would return our calls without us having to beg and plead for assistance, but perhaps that was too ambitious.

Natalie Sheeren of Solihull has cost my son thousands of pounds and potential losses running into hundreds of thousands. Trying to secure indemnity insurance after she belatedly found problems with a search.
Now lying about conversations and defending the legal claim we are trying to bring to recover some of his costs. Do not touch this firm, instead of admitting she made big mistakes because of overwork, they have employed other solicitors to defend them. Disgraceful.
Please do not use them

Nothing quality about them - avoid like the plague!

First off as a first time buyer I was quite clued up regarding property purchases - I'd done lots of reading, but it did not prepare me for the abysmal service I received from Quality Solicitors Davisons!

I bought an empty property with no chain involved and no tenant in-situ, so I thought it'd be all done in 8 weeks. Boy was I wrong. In the end it took 15 weeks to complete, and then it only completed because I threatened legal action (SRA), at which point all the paperwork they told me they were waiting on miraculously arrived that day and I could set an exchange date.

The problem with Quality Solicitors is that they just don't seem to care. I was passed between 4 separate solicitors in the end due to conflict of interests and workload - this should not be happening in the first place. Connells the estate agents should NOT have sold the vendor on forcing the buyer to use their legal services!

I had to chase them every week, sometimes multiple time to get traction on my purchase. Half the time my solicitor wasn't even around to take my calls.

Do NOT use this solicitors practice!

Poor form, Davisons

We accepted a quote from Davisons which had been given to us by Purple Bricks on their behalf, and clearly with Davisons' authority. But when we received the paperwork from Davisons they included their own quote which was £250 + VAT (so £300 to us) more expensive due to the fact that the sale price of £650,000 was over the £500,000 threshold for the quoted fee (a fact which had been known at the outset). They refused to honour the original quote given on their behalf which was effectively a breach of contract and also of course deeply unprofessional. We went elsewhere ....

Don't deserve a rating.

Where do I start!!! Only just received our NHBC Buildmark Cover after moving into our newly built home in 2016. And as for the solicitor who was bad from start to end...no names mentioned could not be bothered to contact NHBC to confirm contracts. So if anything had happened to our property, should a vehicle crash into the house or subsidence, we would of not been covered due to cover not being activated. Quality Solicitors it is 101 room level. But the best of it, it only came about when I contacted NHBC on the off-chance to ask a query and they told me along with our house provider in a MS Teams call that our NHBC had not be activated. But when I called the worst solicitors firm and numerous emails, the complaints officer could not advise me, as he did not have the powers to investigate...idiot you are the complaints where you have the powers to investigate (SMH). So after going back and forth for 10 days...this was there response from HQ...'We could not ascertain the documents, due to a technical problem. So the technical problem lasted for 5 years?!? They honestly think the public are that gulible that we'd fall for the nonsense that comes out of there mouths. As a former member of HMCTS they'd always get things worng...no comment!!!

Excellect: Yates and Co - Nottingham

We cannot fault the work of Yates & Co in Nottingham, specifically William Danvers.

He patiently and diligently worked through our first (attempted) purchase which fell through due to the other conveyancers (see my other review). We kept the company on and Mr Danvers got our next purchase through within 8 weeks.

He was very polite and professional, but also very friendly and personable as we got to know each other over the months.

We're going to be putting more of work to them in the future, because we liked them so much.

Highly recommend Yates & Co in Nottingham. Thank you for your help and work.
