The new mince quorn is horrible. I quite liked the old style which was small thin pieces more in the shape of minced meat , but now it's in large clumps and taste is horrible. BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE

My 10 years old son had quorn meet and felt sick after three bites. He has been vomiting and has diarrhoea since eating it. He still gags and feels sick after three days.
On the other hand my 7 year old was absolutely fine.

Quorn Tikka masala. For €5, why not just buy a basic block of tofu, and microwave pilaf rice. I'm sorry. I love some quorn products. The meatballs are amazing! The sausage's, other than the Linda mcc ones , are good. I'm not a full vegetarian but I like to not eat meat when I can. But I spent again, a pretty pound on a tiny portion microwave meal and it was just horrible. No flavor, too many sweet counterparts. I know it's a Korma but I really don't need a dry apricot in every mouthful. No flavor. My point is don't buy this particular meal. If you enjoy a veggie Korma make it from scratch. Completely bland .

I find it painful having to give this muck even a 1 star rating. I've unwittingly eaten Quorn a few times, either because of it not being labelled or through being wrongly advised by restaurants. I have the usual symptoms, sweating, stomach cramps, feeling sick, being sick, not being out of sight of a loo for 2 days, all in all, it feels like a near death experience. Some fast food outlets are now calling it Mycoprotein in an attempt to disguise the Quorn content...don't be misled! It's now included in vegan and vegetarian offerings from KFC, MacDonalds and Greggs amongst others. It's actually made from a mold which is biologically related to the black stuff you scrape off of damp bathrooms...be warned! If you're not sure if you are allergic to Quorn poisoning, ask the server if the food contains Quorn or ask to see the original packaging. If you are wrongly advised, you can sue the food outlet for substantial damages. I've done it.

Years ago my niece made meat free chilli with Quorn and it was ok, but yesterday I tried to make cottage pie using the same product and it was so disgusting I was gagging on a sample mouthful and put it straight in the bin. I am not a fussy eater but I am still feeling nauseous just remembering the revolting taste. It is nothing more than slop with a truly horrid back taste. How anyone can stomach this product is utterly beyond me. I wish I could give it no stars at all. Avoid at all costs.

Ever since you've changed supplier (from the original), it pains me to say it, BUT...
The quality of Quorn products has "nosedived" like a WW.II German Stuka DiveBomber (with it's tail hacked-off !)
No, it really IS THAT BAD !!!!!!
I used to literally LIVE on Quorn products, like 'Peppered Steak' grills (they were delicious), so much so that we WERE (past-tense), buying 4-5 packs per week - Same goes for your 'Cocktail Sausages' (two packs of which, I've had the misfortune to eat in the last 24hrs, courtesy of an unknowing but well-intentioned family member) - They USED TO BE (past-tense) superb, but alas, I cannot say that now.
The modern latterday Quorn 'Cocktail Sausages' are as lumpy as (unprintable) & it actually feels like parts of them are like eating gristle - THE very reason as to 'why' I gave-up eating meat in the first place !!!!!
C'mon Quorn, "pull your finger out" - your products ARE crap thesedays & it annoys me having to write this (honest / truthful) review.
I shall be lobbing these last two packs of 'Cocktail Sausages over the neighbouring brook & into the adjacent farmer's fields, so that the rats might feast on them (although "if" they have any sense, they'll avoid them, like the bubonic-plague !)
How on EARTH can such a large and important vegetarian food company 'go to rack & ruin' in such short order ?
Remember, I've been eating your products now for between 12-15 years (since you started selling in Tesco's), so I know the difference is like night & day.
The sheer volume & multitude of BAD reviews (on here & elsewhere), should give you guys (Quorn) some idea as to just how bad your latterday suppliers really are - It's a wake-up call that you (as a company), seem to be choosing to grossly ignore

Some great products available - I have been vegetarian since I was 10 and have been eating meat substitutes since then, I have been buying different Quorn products since they arrived on the market - (The ones I have tried are as follows - Quorn sausages - I have these well stocked up in my freezer and eat them every week - Quorn lasagne - I buy this once in a while - it is quite tasty and really nice - the cottage pie is also very tasty - the portion sizes of the cottage pie and lasagne could be a bit bigger though - the chicken style burgers are nice and crunchy - the mince is very nice and I put it things like stews and pastas sauces - I recently tried the fishless fish fingers and they were amazing but slightly small compared to normal fish fingers - the only ones I don’t like are the Quorn chicken style chunks - and cold substitute meat products these products are too close to actual meat in style so that’s why I don’t eat them - overall I would say Quorn products are good value for money and fairly tasty - the only thing I would suggest is try spicing up the recipes a bit - maybe a new spicy sausage option would be nice.

Had to give it one star or couldn't get to writing this . In reality its not worthy of even one . I ate this abomination twice and each time developed severe reactions to it , vomiting sweating , a pounding headache shivering , thought I had the flu . It lasted for a good 24 hrs . The first time I ate it I didn't think it was anything to do with the product it was the mince substitute . Then months after I bought a pack of two chichen breast substitutes and ate one ,and I had exactly the same symptoms . That's when I realised my sickness must be down to the quorn . Having a somewhat curious mind a week later I decided to have a small piece of the second mock chicken breast it was about an inch square , and low and behold I had the same reaction and it wasn't even much milder than if I'd consumed the whole thing . Iv never had any reactio to any food in my life bar this. This product should come with a warning label .

My son has been getting an upset stomach and throwing up randomly off and on for the past year. The doc hasn't been able to determine an illness and we've had a heck of a time figuring it out. This recently became more of an issue because it started happening more frequently and he had to miss two days of school for every one day he got sick due to Covid. We've been trying to pinpoint the cause and finally linked it to Quorn after following the elimination diet. It finally all clicked - a year ago we started buying Quorn products for the first time. The illness didn't start right away so we never correlated the product! To say I'm frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. After finally figuring out what was causing months of discomfort for my 11 year old son and doing research... I'm just shocked this product is still on the market!!!!!!

I was going to write a review to say how much I enjoyed the fishless fingers but having now purchased fishless fingers from Aldi there is no comparison. Quorn fingers are 10 for £2.50 and weigh 200grms. Aldi fingers are £1.69 for 10 and weigh 300grms and are twice the size of the Quorn ones. Not only that, the Aldi fingers are far superior in taste.

My family ate Quorn mince for years, but having just tried some 'mince' we were disgusted.

What on earth have you done to your product??

It now has ZERO body, ZERO texture and an unnatural flavour.

This was a pile of slop that felt like pre-chewed baby food, but with less appeal.

What on earth have Quorn done to their mince? I have used and enjoyed this for years but never again, the pieces are too big with a terrible mouth feel,it has a mushy texture and tastes unpleasant.Avoid, Avoid.

I have been using Quorn since it appeared. Brilliant... but I won't be buying it again. The mince is massive and has an awful mouth feel and tastes of sour. There is no substance to it. The product feels lighter. I used pieces in a stir fry as usual...it was awful...mushy and disgusting. Quorn was always the first to be eaten but this went in the bin. Why ruin a perfect product ? Struggling to find an alternative. Wake up Quorn!!! You just lost another dyed in the wool fan. Very sad.

The Quarn sausage was inedible because of the salt content-salt was all I could taste-it should be taken off the market because its so unhealthy

I tried Quorn mince for the first time and it was literally inedible. After cooking, it disintegrates into a mush that has a unpleasant sour taste.

awwww Quorn, what have you done to the mince? I used to buy bags and bags when my children were growing up. I recently bought 2 bags, and started making a cottage pie, I opened the bag, and found HUGE pellets more like dog food than mince, hmmm I opened the 2nd bag, same. I used one to see if perhaps it broke down during cooking, nope, still 10-20mm worms of unappetising yuck. Shame, used to be a perfect product, now only fit for the bin. There was no reason to change it.

It looks like Spam, has a terrible texture and tastes nothing like bacon. I cooked two pieces had one taste and threw the rest in the bin including what was left in the packet. In my opinion it is just expensive rubbish.

I would give this a zero star if possible. Do not buy this product, any version of it. They were effectively sued when many got sick and a 12 year old boy died. Why?
Their special protein blend consists of egg white binder from mold they harvest from the soil. That is why their packaging and the wording changed several years ago.
How do I know? I became very sick myself after regular use of their products. Mold. Don’t do it.

I've been eating Quorn Scotch Eggs for many years but the latest purchase was a major disappointment, hardly any egg. On complaining to Quorn we were advised they have moved to a new supplier & they expect it to take a few months to get the content sorted they advised the texture will remain the same but their trying to get the egg content sorted, surely this is something you do before you release a new or changed product. Not even an offer of a refund for a product well below the standard we usually expect.
