I thought that this would be similar to the consumer comparison sites, where indicative prices are quoted after entering your contact and usage details. Instead, my enquiry was followed by an almost immediate call for more info and then a deluge of energy companies telling me that the site had asked them to call me. Once you click the "submit" button, expect a lot of phone calls.

I had purposely tried to avoid this, as I dislike having to play one salespeson off against another. It says on the site that it is a "business energy comparison service" - but it isn't. You have to do the comparisons yourself, after speaking to all of the sales people that will call you and give you their rates. It was not made clear enough that this is the way that they operate. If you're not savvy to the way that business energy prices work, it can be complicated and confusing doing things this way.

In short, I was looking for a comparison site and didn't find one. If I would have wanted to speak with lots of providers and then do the maths myself, I could have found the numbers with Google.

I used quotemyenergy to investigate the best provider and prices for a small corporate account. My allocated contact got in touch with me within moments of making the online request and I was subsequently contacted by a number of suppliers that were friendly and made the process easy to do and understand. I'd definitely use quotemyenergy when we need to renew.

I was not bombarded with loads of call from different suppliers,which is good as I am very busy, quote my energy only gave my details to 3 main suppliers that were suitable to contacted me and they were all helpful, I got a good deal that I was happy with.
