We only sell 2 radiators that uses an app and we unfortunately cannot find an order for yourself for either of these 2 products or any of our products.

After a year ,and no fault of this…

After a year ,and no fault of this company service , one of our Rads died, no heat coming from it . When purchased they told us we had a two year warrenty on it. As a cynical online customer and jaded from other companies. I thought yeah right?? But sure enough, a year later, they were excellent, asked a few questions, a couple of photos, and a new Rad was delivered promptly. Highly impressed and would recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered 2 radiators in white on the…

I ordered 2 radiators in white on the 4.11.22. I chose white because in that colour the radiators [according to the website] were available within 48/72 hours. I was contacted on the 7.11.22 to state that the radiators would not be available the week of the 7.11. When I asked why the website suggests otherwise, no meaningful explanation was given. I have contacted RD today using their customer portal and Ive been contacted to say, that someone did message me on the 15.11.22 requesting a delivery date. I did not receive a phone message, text message or email on the 15.11.22. I have asked specifically who contacted me and what message was left. I tried to respond to the person I was dealing with today, via the email address provided, but that returned marked ‘undelivered’ so I had to go back into the portal and start again. In any event it appears that the radiators can be delivered next week [not this week]. I am very unimpressed with the service so far, but I will post an update.

Dear Deidre, thank you for taking the time to provide feed back on your order. We have reviewed the actions taken to ascertain if there are any improvements we can make to our internal systems. Currently we operate during standard weekdays, unless specifically requested and agreed we do not deliver or despatch on a weekend. Our first learning is that we will endeavour to improve awarness of this fact on the website. As you placed your order on the afternoon of Friday 4th at 15.25 we would only be able to despatch the following week. On Monday 7th at 13.52 our Inputting team called to advise you that your size radiator was unfortunately out of stock, but was due back in stock w/c 14th and it was agreed that we would call to confirm a delivery date. On Tuesday 15th at 10.35 our Customer Service team called your mobile and left a message requesting a call back to set a delivery day, unfortunately we did not receive any call to arrange delivery that week. As we handle circa 700 orders per week it is difficult to follow up unresponsive calls. Our second learning is to see if we can establish a system to improve this, even if it is just for our consumer customers rather than our trade Merchant customers. All our calls are recorded and all emails logged so if required we can provide dated transcripts and recordings. We received a message from you chasing your radiators on the 23rd via our website and requested details to follow up, all your messages were received, the email address is a group account and is copied to a number of our Team, we received your response at 13.44 and your subsequent contact at 14.04 (after you received the bounce back message). Our Customer Service Manager responded and, as you requested in your email (“Monday will be best for a delivery”), a delivery for Monday 28th was agreed. We do regret that you have had a poor experience with this order, we always aim to give the best service we can, but on occasions products do go out of stock and miscommunications can occur. We hope that you will be happy with your radiators and if you require any further assistance we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a better experience.

Expensive product, poor quality, faulty product and poor customer services

Expensive product - Poor quality and damaged product- poor customer services…..

Firstly this product was poorly packaged with no real protection other than polystyrene on the edges and plastic cover the radiator.
I purchased a lacquered column radiator (expensive) the photography of the product provided good images , however in reality the lacquered finish was poor with drip lines. This finish is stated as part of the unique style and therefore the company do not refund on the customers personal standards and expectations of this expensive product . However this product was also damaged and had a scratch on one of the columns .
I contacted customer services and was met by an abrupt response and informed that they do not refund due to the lacquer finish but would investigate the scratch - requesting photos of this . They arranged collection of the radiator and informed me that the refund would take up to 10 days .
However I had to chase up my refund after 10 days and it was 14 days before I was refunded . I understand they have processes to follow but they take the monies straight away and then the customer has to wait 14 days for their monies returning !!!
I had also asked for a refund of the feet to match the radiator- however they stated that because they were not faulty that it would be refunded at a reduction !!!!
Be careful when purchasing from radiator direct be 100% sure of your choice as you will not get a refund if your expectations are not.

We appreciate your feedback on your recent purchase experience and understand your frustration. The product you ordered and had delivered on the 18th May is a distinctive model that has unique features that differ on every product, created by all the marks from the sanding and welding in the production process and the exposed raw material, as clearly shown on our website.

As alternatives, we do also offer a huge variety of powder coat painted options, which, unlike the Bare Metal Lacquer models, do not show the welding and scratch marks beneath, offering a perfect finish.

When you contacted us on the 8th of June to raise concerns over the variation in colours and sent us pictures, we did reiterate that the nature of the product means there are inherent differences and manufacturing marks as your picture showed, and from that point of view was as described and promoted on our site.

However, as you also had an issue with scratch damage, we were happy to replace the item free of charge or as you preferred, to collect the damaged item and refund you.

Given we have to collect, check returns before we can process a refund, we do allow a period of time for this process to occur. Your radiator was collected on the 14th June and the refund was issued to your bank on the 28th June, 10 working days after collection.

In your feedback you refer to being asked to part pay for the feet, however is it possible you meant the valves? Our Customer Service Team were incorrect in charging you a restocking fee for the valves. We do agree with you that for an end user such as yourself, you have little use for valves (or other accessories) if you are not keeping the radiator, therefore we will be refunding the balance you paid and apologise for this. We will be amending our policies to reflect this and provide our team with guidance on process for any future issues.

We aim to provide an excellent service to all our customers, and we particularly appreciate the time you have taken to provide feedback.
