Weymouth Street Hospital
I went to the Weymouth Street Hospital in June 2025. First impression - very clean and welcoming, polite and helpful receptionist. On to my room for day surgery. Bright, spacious and clean. A number of staff came into the room each one knocking beforehand advising their name and what they needed to do. From paperwork, checks, gowns, explanations of procedure and menu. Everyone was so friendly, polite and helpful also engaging with my son and answering his questions. Dr Uppal popped in to to ensure all was well. On to the theatre. Once again I couldn't fault the area or staff and same for the recovery room. Back to my room where a delicious meal was served, such a shame I was unable to eat much. The choice of food was extensive. Prescription meds were sorted quickly and smoothly, checks were done ready for discharge.
I would highly recommend this hospital and have no hesitation in giving top marks from beginning to end.

Exchanging breast implants can be a highly complex procedure which is why we spend a lot of time planning this beforehand. We use measurements and calculations to ensure that the new implants are of the correct shape size volume and profile to ensure you get the best result possible.
We often use a dual plane technique for your surgery but can also place the implants under the muscle or under the breast depending on your soft tissues.
When patients have had previous breast implants we will need to release the capsule that the body forms around the implants to make sure that we get a good shape and that the breasts feel soft afterwards.
When Breast implants are exchanged sometimes the breast tissue can droop so we plan internal and external uplift techniques to compensate for this and make sure you have a great result from your surgery.
We also plays great emphasis on listening to your particular concerns and supporting you closely by email, WhatsApp and face to face consultations.
Patients also find that a video consultation can be convenient when they can't get time off work when they need to see me quickly.

Cancer Free and Feeling Good
My experience since discovering a lump in my right breast on the 29th January 2023, has been a Roller Coaster of emotions, hope and most of all 100% trust in the wonderful NHS.
One of the main things Mr Uppal said was for me to be cancer free and looking good! These words were very reassuring and have stayed with me throughout my journey.
Having the Diep Flap operation was the best decision for me, and as soon as it healed I was able to feel confident as I still had two breasts. although the revision took alot longer than anyone expected due the waiting list, I always knew it was going to happen.
During that time I have met with Mr Uppal, and been in contact with the breast care team since the surgery and feel very supported. They have always been there on the end of the phone and follow up appointments, and have reassured me at every call.
On the day I had my dressings taken off with the plastic team after my revision in March this year, I was so happy with the outcome and Shape of my breast and new nipple. I stood in the waiting room at Wexham and told the other patient's how lucky I was to be cancer free and looking so good! Everyone clapped and were so happy for me, This echoed Mr Uppals word's and it felt great.
I am just waiting for the final tattoo to match the colour to my other breast, All of this surgery will never take away the fact that I had cancer and was treated for it, and I'm still able to LIVE and be with my children which I'm forever greatfull for. But, it has certainly ensured my mental health and confidence was taken care of to help me deal with the changes.
I can't thank Mr Uppal and the team at the parapet in Windsor and Wexham for everything they have done for me.

You will have come into contact with many many people along your journey and we all work hard to make sure that you get the best care possible.
Complex microsurgery to use the tummy to make a new breast is called a diep flap and is a mandatory requirement to meet national standards of care. It's so important that this service is available locally although the resources are stretched as across the whole of the UK.
All patients should be able to have this type of surgery to avoid breast implants which can go hard and painful after the radiotherapy that is required to treat the breast cancer.

Disappointed with the aftercare
I’ve waited a while to leave this review to ensure I gave my nose the time to heal and ensure my comments were accurate. I personally wouldn't recommend Mr Uppal.
Initially, appointments felt very rushed (I feel I also need to add he completed one of my post-surgery consultations from his car). I also came in with one problem I wanted fixing (slightly wonky nose looking head on) he commented that I had bumps on my nose, seen from a side profile view that I had never noticed. Of course, as soon as it was mentioned I noticed it and wanted it fixed. The nose he created for me on this app was amazing, and I couldn't wait for my surgery as I have been so conscious of my nose of years.
Everything was fine up until post-surgery, the team were quick to respond with admin related questions etc. Mr Uppal also came and said hello to me prior to surgery and double check I was happy with the nose he was going to create. After surgery, he checked on me again, and showed me a photo of the nose he had created during surgery - it looked amazing.
The issue I have is post-surgery and the care provided.
When I took off my nose cast, my nose was very swollen. I emailed straight away to check if this was normal, and they told me to wait and not worry. I understand this, nose swelling is incredibly common post surgery. I continued to follow all the things Mr Uppal had suggested to reduce the swelling.
Fast forward a few months, my nose was still very swollen. I highlighted that it was concerning me as it seemed to be getting bigger and bigger, especially the tip of my nose. Initially, my concerns weren't acknowledged and were often played down in consultations with Mr Uppal. I was told that it was fine and I only think it's super swollen because I look at it everyday.
This continued of a while, until after one consultation where I was told that it was fine and it was just me, I sent a detailed email. I used photos to point out my concerns and documented the 3 main areas that you could see how much my nose was swollen and looked very different from the photo he took post-surgery (and worse than my nose pre-surgery).
From this, my concerns were finally listened to and Mr Uppal admitted there was a lot of swelling and he would give me steroid injections. When I went in for my steroid injections, he commented that there was a lot of scar tissue on my nose contributing to the swelling - something that I had said for months before anything was done about it.
In the end, the steroid injections made some sort of impact, but weren’t a miracle. I truly believe if my concerns were listened to in the beginning, I may have ended up with the nose he had created during surgery.
Overall, the nose he said he was going to create was beautiful but I feel I was let down by the aftercare.
UPDATE: Mr Uppal and his team have reached out to me since posting my review. They have assured me that they have taken my experience into consideration and will amend certain ways or working moving forward.

We explain to all patients that the nose will keep changing for many years after surgery and we are available at any time to treat any problems that may occur. These include offering steroid injections which you have confirmed did help improve scar tissue that had formed around the nose. There are long-term treatments that are available and we are happy to offer this at your convenience. There is no cost for this.

Find someone else and don't use Circle Health Group
I'm early days, 1 week post surgery for lower blepharoplasty, breast reduction and lipo, but so far so good. Mr Uppal explained everything very well prior to my procedures. This is not my first surgery and I have spoken to several surgeons before making a final decision. Its so important to fully trust your surgeon and have a clear dialogue. Mr Uppal also gives u his WhatsApp should u have any concerns prior or post surgery which is very reassuring. To update, I am now 1 year post surgery and extremely disappointed with the outcomes come of my lower blep and breast reduction. My eyes look awful, pinched, lumps and still loose skin. My breast reduction, did nothing apart from give me scars. I'm the same cup size as before, complete waste of time and money. I have given up discussing these issues with Mr Uppal, who, as pleasant as he is, has all the excuses of a politician. I'm escalating my complaint to Level 2 with the Circle Health Group, as they have shown no interest to rectified these issues or offer a refund, so I can find someone competent to fix the problems. Again full of excuses, expecting the customer to just accept it. I will not accept this shocking behaviour and will be contacting CQC. You have been warned ⚠️

It was a really simple process and the results are great with minimal recovery time. After many years of thinking about having rhinoplasty and having read many reviews I took the plunge and decided to have the surgery with Mr Uppal, I felt super confident after my initial consultation that Mr Uppal was the correct choice he just seemed to know what I wanted not too small just a very natural look.
I had my surgery 10 days ago everything went very smooth Mr Uppal came to see me before and after the surgery to let me know how everything had gone, after initially get very bad swelling things are settling down now I phoned Mr Uppal a couple of times with my concerns about the swelling and he put my mind at rest reassuring me it would be fine and just to be patient, I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Uppal for anyone thinking of having surgery.

We send these to you so you have lots of time to make your decision at home in your own time.
At the second consultation we go through things again to make sure you understand all the details as well as the risks of surgery.
Once you book surgery, you get my WhatsApp number so that you can communicate easily and get the support you need both before and after surgery.
Of course you can email me which also helps so I can reply to any questions that you may have. You can also call my secretary Dina anytime to answer any questions.
Our support team and hospital pre-assessment will talk to you to discuss any details and make sure you are ready for your operation.
On the day of the operation you see me again and have a chance to chat to the anaesthetist Dr Pattison. She has worked with us for 20 years and is very good at putting you at your ease when things can be rather anxious on the day.
You go home the same day with a small tape bandage on your nose which can be covered with a mask and sunglasses.
We do not use internal bandages up the nose which are uncomfortable and painful to remove.
You only need to wear your nose sticky plasters for five days. These fall off easily in the shower or you can see me personally after one week and I will remove them for you in the clinic.
You had some swelling but it seems that even after five days you are absolutely delighted with the results of your nose surgery.
This is because we use keyhole surgery and micro surgery technology so you have very quick recovery and hardly any swelling.
Your operation was particularly challenging as it was a revision operation where you had previously had a Rhinoplasty.
I have 30 years experience of this complex operation which is an interplay of anatomy and functional internal surgery for your breathing.

Rushed, poor result and little post surgery care
I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the rhinoplasty surgery performed by Mr. Uppal, as well as the overall level of care I received. Initially, I wrote a positive review on Trust Pilot shortly after my surgery, incentivized by the offer of a £50 Amazon voucher. As a 19-year-old student at the time, I hastily wrote that review without fully recovering or digesting the experience.
My initial consultations with Mr. Uppal felt rushed and impersonal, lasting only a few minutes each. At the time, I overlooked these hurried interactions as I was young, naive and desperate to get the surgery done. Looking back now I feel that he did not take the necessary time to thoroughly understand my concerns and expectations.
Following the surgery, I encountered several serious issues. I developed a small septal perforation (hole in septum), and one of my nostrils became so inflamed that I can barely breathe through it (and still can’t 3/4 years later). My overall breathing has deteriorated significantly, forcing me to rely on breathing through my mouth. Visually, my nose remains extremely swollen and wonky, far from the results I had hoped for.
I attempted to address these issues in a follow-up consultation a year or two post-surgery, only to have Mr. Uppal not show up for the virtual appointment. Despite spending £50 for the consultation, no refund was offered. Mr. Uppal later suggested a audio phone call, which I felt was inadequate for conveying my concerns. So I detailed the issues I was experiencing over email (with several images), only to receive what felt like a brief response informing me there was nothing of concern.
Recently, I noticed that my nose bridge has begun to droop at the site of the perforation, which has exacerbated my worries. When I sought another consultation, I was a bit taken back by the increased fee of £150. I emailed Mr. Uppal requesting a reduced fee due to the complications arising from the initial surgery but have yet to receive any response almost two months later.
I am deeply disheartened by the lack of post-surgical care and support. While I understand the inherent risks of surgery, the rushed consultations and inadequate follow-up care have left me feeling neglected and undervalued as a patient. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Mr. Uppal based on my experience.

I advised you to come and see me. I'm sorry that you could not attend any appointments to see me after your operation. Surgeons prefer to see patients face to face so we can make a full assessment and continue the care that is required after Rhinoplasty. We are disappointed as you live fairly close to the hospital.
You were given two consultations before surgery where the details of the operation and your exact needs were discussed. We took our time in designing your new nose on the computer where you indicated that you were happy with the plan.
Our records indicate that I tried to phone you on a number of occasions after surgery but could not get through. I have sent you a WhatsApp message today.
We look forward to talking to you soon and resolving everything.

Lifechanging
I first broke my nose in 2009, followed by a second break just ten weeks ago. The dual impact on my breathing and confidence was significant, and I knew I needed expert help. From the moment I had my face-to-face appointment with Mr. Uppal, I felt reassured and understood. He spoke to me in depth about the effects of my injuries, not only on my physical health but also on my self-esteem.
Mr. Uppal conducted a thorough assessment to determine if rhinoplasty was the right option for me. He was diligent and meticulous, taking the time to photograph my nose and even providing edited images to show potential results. This visual aid was incredibly helpful in setting my expectations and building my confidence in the procedure.
I had actually researched septorhinoplasty about five years ago and wrote Mr. Uppal's name down on my phone, but I lacked the confidence to go ahead with the surgery. Looking back, I wish I had done it earlier.
The experience with Mr. Uppal’s assistant, Dina, was equally positive. Dina managed all the logistical and payment processes efficiently and was always available on the phone to answer my questions. Her personable approach made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
My second consultation included my wife, during which Mr. Uppal showed her the projected results and addressed our further questions. This collaborative approach was very reassuring for both of us.
On the day of surgery, everything was impressively calm and efficient. I arrived at 8 am, and there was minimal waiting. Both Mr. Uppal and the anaesthetist, Jill Pattison, took the time to see me before the procedure, which helped alleviate any last-minute nerves. The anaesthetic process was surprisingly relaxed and stress-free. Immediately after the surgery, I was well looked after by the nurses (I believe the primary nurse was Ashwini) Clearly, Mr. Uppal has a great team behind this operation.
The results have been nothing short of fantastic. My confidence has soared, and the aftercare provided by Mr. Uppal has been exemplary. We've had numerous video calls where he meticulously checked my progress, asking for regular photos to monitor my healing. The swelling was far less than I expected and began reducing quickly.
For the first time in over 10 years, I can breathe through my nose properly. This has been life-changing. No longer do I walk into a room and worry about where to sit to hide the bend and bump in my nose.
Overall, my experience with Mr. Uppal and his team has been outstanding. The professional, caring, and efficient service has made a profound impact on my life. I highly recommend Mr. Uppal for anyone considering septorhinoplasty.

Very happy with result
Really happy with my nose 5 weeks post surgery, it’s still sore but healing well. I’m so glad I chose Mr Uppal, I just wanted a few tweaks to my nose shape and still wanted to look like me, results after surgery are much better than the computerised images we made at consultations before surgery. I wish I had, had it done years ago, my confidence has dramatically increased and I’m happy with photos and having conversations with people without feeling self conscious, it’s changed my life
