I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Rat & Boa.

I ordered two dresses for my upcoming wedding weekend, including the Francesca Dress, and unfortunately one of the dresses arrived with several black ink-like stains on the fabric. The dress was clearly not in acceptable condition upon arrival.

As the wedding is next weekend, there is not enough time for a replacement to realistically arrive, which has left me in a very stressful situation. I contacted customer service immediately with photos and politely asked for help or a reasonable partial refund so I could try to have the dress professionally cleaned myself.

Unfortunately, I have received no response at all. Considering the price point and branding of the company, I expected a much higher level of quality control and customer service - especially when the issue concerns a wedding outfit and a defective item.

Very disappointing experience overall.

I received the wrong dress and no one…

I received the wrong dress and no one responded to my email regarding returning it for a few days, and now they have they are saying they need time to look into it. I ordered two dresses and they took longer to arrive than they should have, plus then one was the wrong dress. I'm going on a trip at the weekend so want to make sure these are returned before that but the response rate is super slow and I feel like I am
now out of pocket for something that isn't my fault. Getting a bit stressed and anxious!

Great service

Dresses arrived promptly and the return service was very easy. The sequin dress I ordered is beautiful and seems very well made! The silk dress I ordered however seemed not worth the price as didn't seem very good quality.

Refunds not issued

I ordered multiple dresses for my wedding and sent them back due to them being ill-fitting.
All items were returned using a pre-paid postage label provided by Rat & Boa with proof of postage.
They claim a dress wasn't received in the parcel and are refusing to issue the refund.

The item was definitely in the parcel when I sent it, I'm not a thief and I would be able to tell if there was a dress sitting around in my house.

Under the consumer rights act the seller is liable for any issues during the courier process if they provide the prepaid label - which Rat & Boa did.
After various backwards and forwards they are still refusing to issue the refund so I will now have to take this further with the small claims court.

Extremely time consuming and unfair. I would never buy from this brand again and would recommend nobody else does either.

I've ordered from R&B before and will probably purchase again and again. The fabrics used feel luxurious. Website navigation is pretty easy and I love that there are different patterns and colours! Shipping is quick and easy.
