I have just been on the phone to Jasmine who was so professional and helpful assisting me with my delivery query, she explained everything clearly and placed the order for me over the phone. She made the whole process very easy for me and I can’t wait for the garden furniture set to arrive, thank you!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with this company. The level of customer service has been consistently poor, and despite numerous emails and phone calls, I have not received any meaningful assistance or resolution.
I placed an order on 1st March and, to date, it has not been delivered. Each time I contact the company, I am told that they are unable to provide an estimated delivery timeframe. Additionally, I have requested a refund on multiple occasions, but have yet to receive any response.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering this company.
Also the reply on my review seems like a generic reply that every complaint gets and no resolution. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs

Horrific business to deal with
Horrific business to deal with. No communication. Still selling and offering a product which I purchased that remains without a delivery date for me. I wish someone had pre warned me of the issues this company was having. They should not be continuing to sell when they are failing existing customers. Save yourself the hassle and stay well away

Brought a fire pit on sale but came in…
Brought a fire pit on sale but came in originally packaged unopened box. When got home found to be missing main knob to actually work the item i emailed to be told item was sold as seen when I stated it wasnt purchased off shop floor came from warehouse I was told someone would ring me guess what no one did ive rang numerous times to be told id be rang back. Stay away from this store. I will be filling a complaint and taking this further you can't sell a product that hasnt all the main functional parts
Update as you see from the response they would prioritise this but guess what still no call backs or help from this company

A good customer service
A good customer service, Jasmin was very nice and helpful. I recommend Rathwood.
Order not delivered, refund still outstanding
I placed an order in January and have still not received the product or a refund.
There was no communication for a prolonged period despite multiple emails & phone calls, including formal requests for a refund. I have since been told that a refund will be issued, however this has still not been processed.
I also previously left a review about this experience. That review was reported and removed from Trustpilot. On the first occasion, I was informed the business claimed it was not them. On the second occasion, I was notified that the review had been taken offline after being flagged for “advertising or promotional content.”
For clarity, this review relates only to my own customer experience.
It is concerning that, alongside an unresolved order and outstanding refund, previous attempts to leave feedback have been removed following reports from the business.
I have now reported the matter to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
Update 21st April: still waiting on refund for products ordered on Jan 16th.

Disgraceful treatment of customers...Ordered & paid for 6 dining chairs in…
Ordered & paid for 6 dining chairs in Nov. '25. I was advised items damaged in transit, then items no longer available, then items available again and then not 🤬finally in January I said to forget it and process refund and have not received to date. It is impossible to get speaking to a member of staff in the Shop itself. It is illegal to hold a person's money when they do not and will not receive their items !!

I am waiting on MY refund for a sofa bed I had to cancel after waiting weeks and weeks with no update on shipping etc! I have rang and emailed every single day the past 3 weeks and still haven't recieved my refund!! I am absolutely disgusted at their customer service stay clear people!!! I also put in a complaint with the consumer regulator and I will be contacting my solicitor on Monday!! Shocking how they can take people's money not have stock in supply to obviously ship to people and then hold people's refunds!! A Disgrace 🤬🤬🤬🤬

No refund payment
I ordered an item in January. When it didnt arrive after 4 weeks I contacted them and was told it was on the way into stock the next week. The following week I contacted them and they advised it wouldn’t be arriving and pressured me to order an alternate item but agreed to process a refund. The following week I contacted them and they told me the item had come into stock but I asked for them to continue with the refund. It’s now 4 weeks later and they are no longer replying to my emails and I am still waiting on a refund.
I wanted to support an Irish owned business but would recommend others to avoid shopping online with Rathwood

15 months waiting on garden gurniture
Ordered garden furniture Jan 2025 still have not received it 15 months later. Numerous calls and emails made all with promises of managers to call me back and still no calls. Absolutely horrendous that they took my money 15 months ago and still nothing. Horrendous customer service, absolute disgrace of Company. Please can someone contact me asap

Over 3 months later - Still NO bed
I purchased a bed for my son Jan 10th 2026 - before I placed the order i rang Rathwood (as I had read some bad reviews) I asked how long I would be waiting for it, I was told I would have it within 4 working weeks - 8 weeks later on 10th of March (and 3 phone calls later) I was advised that they still had no update on when my bed would be delivered - A customer Service representative then found me another bed similar to what i had ordered, she told me it was in Germany but guaranteed I would have it in 2 working weeks (I had to pay more for the bed but I didn't mind as I explained I was heading away April 2nd for 2 weeks and I was told I would have it by then) .. its now April 18th and I've been advised by customer service that there is still no update and they would escalate another query and somebody will email me on the 20thor 21st of April.

Made an order for a couch on the 26th…
Made an order for a couch on the 26th of January, it got cancelled by rathwood on the 22/03 because they couldn't fulfill it. Still awaiting a refund despite numerous emails and calls, with no response.
This company seems to have a history of selling stuff they don't have.
Order number was S26920 so when you read this rathwood, please finally refund us. It's absolutely scandalous behaviour on your part, don't even waste your energy with a generic response.

Do not buy, they don’t deliver and hold your money
I will continue to place negative feedback after every phone call with Rathwood as they continue to refuse to refund me after the never delivered a bunkbed over 3 months ago. Every phone call results in a request to this imaginary team to process the refund that never happens. How a company in Ireland can continue operating when hundreds of people are in the same position, ridiculous!!!

The case of the missing stools
We ordered a corner sofa set in January and it arrived a little over a month later- we were delighted. That was until we realised all 3 stools were missing.
We should have known something was up when the packaging of the furniture had a damaged sticker on it.
We have sent too many emails to count to try to resolve this with Rathwood and request the missing stools but no joy.
Not sure where to turn to now, can we return the set? It’s useless if it can’t seat the whole family.

Terrible company. I ordered some timber in may with the promise of it being delivered by September. September came and went with delivery being consistently pushed back.. I cancelled my order hut have yet to receive a refund with excuse after excuse that it was being processed. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Made an order in May 2025 for logs with delivery expected in September and another garden furniture order in June lead time 10 working days. Neither were delivered and despite changing the garden furniture order and paying more money, the products still didn't arrive. Have emailed, phoned, called in person and still no refunds. Never ever buying from RW again.

Ordered garden furniture in February with delivery date given within 72 hours waited a few weeks and contacted customer service who told me the furniture was not in stock (website still showed 2 available at time of call) picked another 3 different sets of furniture again showing available online and when they checked none were available in stock. Requested a refund in mid March and was told this would be done within 7 days still no refund and no reply to any emails or calls. We have visited a lot for events with our kids and is very disappointing to be giving this type of customer service.i would not recommend anyone order anything of this company.
