This is an absolute joke of a company. Ordered a set of patio covers for my patio furniture. After 2 weeks was informed it was out of stock l requested a refund over 2 weeks still waiting. Thankfully l paid by PayPal who refunded me today. Steer well clear of this abominable Company ie Rathwood

Updated… Another generic response below from Rathwood with no resolution AGAIN as to where my refund is… I have received this same message from support many many many times!
Waiting on my order since last October. Had to cancel and now months later after many phone calls and emails I am still waiting on my refund. They keep telling me is it escalated to accounting and nothing happens.

Worst Supplier ever.
Delivery was repeatedly pushed out without notice. I paid Rathwood 40euro extra for delivery within a month but had to order another crate from a more reliable supplier to get us over Christmas. Eventually got the delivery after three months, but my 40euro was not refunded.

Waited 4 months for refund
I put in for a refund on the 17th of December and it took many calls and emails to get my refund processed. I rang today and I was assisted by a fantastic sales agent who went above and beyond to assist me and he got my refund processed within an hour of speaking to him and rang me back to apologies again and let me know it was resolved. My one star was for Rathwood as a company but I would give him 5 stars and a promotion as he was the only one who listens and acted on my behalf so Rathwood you need more staff like him and you would have far less complaints. The sales agent asked me to include his name in the above review but Rathwood has requested I remove it.

My father purchased a greenhouse which was in stock on the 9th of February. I have called three times and emailed also and have still not received the product over 2 months later. Firstly, it actually wasn’t in stock for weeks. Now it’s in a warehouse for 3 weeks in the UK. Ring customer service and it’s in the Philippines. Interesting that the accounts department don’t open on a Friday!! Must be why no one is receiving a refund from this disgrace of a company. Just do a quick google or listen to yesterdays LiveLine radio slot to hear how this company are letting down so many customers. We bought a voucher for our dad and this was used to partly pay for the product. I will be seeking a full refund for this also as I would never buy off them again.

Extremely disappointing experience.
I placed an order on 9 March and did not receive the item within the timeframe provided. After contacting customer service on 30 March, I was told the product had been oversold and that a refund would be issued instead.
I accepted the refund and was advised it would take 10 working days. That deadline has now passed and I still have not received my money back.
I contacted customer service again for an update, but no clear information could be given. I was told accounts do not take calls, no manager was available, no complaint reference number could be provided, and my previous emails had gone unanswered.
Mistakes can happen, but poor communication and failing to return a customer’s money is not acceptable. Very frustrating experience.

I ordered from this company around end…
I ordered from this company around end of December, I didn't get product or they weren't giving me a refund, they kept pawning me off. The only way I got refund was contacting my bank and got a charge back to my account from my bank.

Do not order anything from this company. We ordered a Lounger and table online mid-March and a few weeks later received an email saying they could no longer get the product, we could order something else or request a refund - we went for the refund - €342. Nothing since, customer service no help, just saying it’s with the accounts dept. Absolutely dreadful way to treat people.

Waiting weeks for refund
Ordered a high sleeper in early February, waited weeks for delivery only to be told on following up that they do not have stock and won't be getting it back in stock. My order was cancelled on 3rd march and I am still awaiting a refund. I have sent several emails with no response and the phone lines don't allow you to actually speak to anyone who is in a position to process a refund. Will never order from them again and will not stop until my refund has been processed.

Avoid at all costs
Ordered garden furniture online. 1 week later, after no communication re. Delivery I rang them. I was told the item was not in stock and that they had “2 websites, one is updated more then the other” and I must have ordered an out of stock item. I am now 3 weeks waiting for a refund and I have had no communication from them despite numerous e mails and phone calls. When I do speak to a customer service advisor I get told it has been escalated but nothing ever happens. A disaster of a company and management is dreadful.

Failed to Deliver
I ordered a chair on the 16th December 2025. In order to ensure that this item was delivered in time for Christmas, an express shipping charge of € 32 was paid.
Unfortunately this item never arrived. We were told that it was stuck in Germany. Then told an error occurred . After 3 months of emails we gave up and cancelled the order . Six weeks later and the REFUND has not arrived.
Disgraceful performance from an Irish company.
Stay well away from them.
We queried this on the 15th January 2026 and was told there was an error. Well it looks like the error just keeps rolling. After 3 months of waiting this is never going to work.
Please do not advertise online , what you cannot deliver. Please REFUND back to my account the complete order.
