What a great experience! I did the Source to City event and it was extremely well organized and supported. Very challenging with hilly bike legs; but, everyone got it done (from novice to expert level folks).

Couldn't be happier with the Rat Race team and support!

Excellent adventure. Great Team to help you through a challenging but enjoyable challenge. Lasting memories and will do another soon. Recommend everyone should do a Rat Race.

My experience with Rat Race for Source to City was way beyond my expectations. I was expecting to go on a physically demanding adventure and push my body beyond what I'd ever done before. That did happen--I did my longest bike ride ever as well as my longest kayak ever. What I really didn't expect but got and will cherish forever--a very real experience of my personal mental toughness and countless memories of the camaraderie of a group of thoughtful, hilarious, extraordinary people (participants and crew included).

Rat Race has thought of everything from nourishment to safety to comfortability and more. Many of the participants on Source to City were not new to Rat Race. It's exciting to have joined the club & I can't wait to book my next trip, hopefully with some of my new friends. So much gratitude for this experience!

Just back from Scafell Pike Sea to Summit. I retired at 20 miles after the weather deteriorated and we were told it was too dangerous to continue. However Rat Race put every contingency in place for us slower runner/walkers to ensure we had just as great an experience and could go as far as physically possible. I may not have completed the full course this time but I’ll be back for more! Thank you for an unforgettable incredible day!

A truly great experience on the sea to summit at Scafell Pike. A fantastic scenic and brutal route choice that just keeps finding more and more assent. Great support from the team in pretty poor weather on proper knarly terrain. Looking forward to Yr Wyddfa to complete the trilogy.

If you want to do something completely mental, do this. It was scary and exciting and absolutely savage. But if you live for the outdoors and you crave the views from the fells whilst catching your breath and crying tears of joy when you summit, then Sea 2 Summit is for you. Wear your big boy pants though, it’s definitely not for marshmallow people. Sign up, communication, registration and race day set up was all top notch. The route was nothing less than epic. Oh, did I mention it was absolutely savage. Lol

Rat Race Sea To Summit Scafell Pike. I've now completed 2 out of the 3 in the series and this one was definitely harder than Ben Nevis..... it's just pure nasty and painful and draining BUT Rat Race events are just awesome and I would strongly advise anyone to have a go at these. If you really want to earn your medal then this trilogy is the one to do. Roll on snowdon in 2 weeks.

It was my second Rat Race adventure, amazing course and views. The crew makes you feel like home. I'm already registered for more two Rat Races challenges next year.

Ratrace pulling out all the stops as per usual. Hike up Mount Marcy is beautiful, though quite technical on the descent. Biking ranges from super quiet country roads, into busier towns.
Unfortunately I had a bit of an accident and came off the bike. The support from Ratrace and aftercare was second to none. Felt in very safe hands and the whole team was incredible

Fantastic event and organisation. Communication in the build up was brilliant, plenty of detail and information.
Race day everything was organised to perfection, aid stations well stocked with all sorts of treats! Route was very clearly waymarked and sensibly chosen and all the volunteers both on course, before and after the race were phenomenal and enthusiastic.

Very well organised and incredible event! Husband did the Ultra and it was an incredible event with spectacular views and a very well laid out course!

aid stations packed with everything you could ever need and the staff/ volunteers were absolutely amazing and so motivational.

Cannot wait for the next one!

This was my first rat race event and I'm glad i got to be a part of the first ever Sea to summit. The whole event was organised amazingly, the staff were really helpful even if they did tell you a few porkies in latter parts of the race promising it was all down hill from here, but I can't fault them.

These challenges are not to be taken lightly but go for it they are worth the experience and all the surprises you get along the way, my favourite 'it's a bit boggy at 7km' what an understatement haha.

Race was epic - organisation and friendly crew were fantastic. Support and pit stops were unbelievable. Venue was the best.

Sea to Summit - Ben Nevis 2024 what an event, straightforward registration before race and all very well organised on the day with regards coach journey, course markers and support at various locations. The 3 pit stops had plenty of high calorie goodie's to grab. All the staff were friendly even when the highlands mosquitoes launched their attack lol. The one an only thing I guess was not being asked if I’d prepaid for a T-shirt but I should have asked so that’s on me plus they have an option for posting out afterwards tbf so all good.

Hopefully see you in Wales Team Rat Race! Thank you all for an amazing race day experience and weather - this being my first and certainly not my last.

No need to worry about getting lost or running out of fuel - the tuckshops at the pit stops were all well stocked and full of friendly (some midgie bitten) faces.

Amazing experience and obvious route to follow due to clear way marking. Fantastic pit stops to refuel and great support from all Marshalls and event team!

I first took part in the Survival of the Fittest back in 2013 and took part yearly with a lot of Friends & work colleagues over the years we all have great memories of the fun and cold water that lay ahead of us.

Seeing Rat Race had a new challenge it was great to be part of the first Sea to Summit event in 2024 (Ben Nevis)

The Rat Race team were fantastic and I can’t thank them enough for their support, help and local knowledge of the mountain as we walk to the top and round Ben Nevis.

Everything we needed, all the support and guidance every step of the way, these guys are the best in the business

Beautiful event through three national parks. It is a great mountainbike event.
