RUBBER STRAP. Tango spare strap REPAIR

No stock for a Tango spare strap, no updates, 7 weeks and still waiting for it returned.
£170 for a rubber strap that doesn't last. Wasn't explained to me at the time that I'll be paying it's value of the watch many times over just to keep replacing the strap.
No updates since the money was taken nearly 2 months ago. ***AVOID, AVOID, AVOID****

Poor quality, poor service

Within weeks of purchasing a Raymond Wiel Freelancer, problems encountered included fogging glass, screws falling out of the band, high susceptibility to scratching and poor time accuracy, with my watch ultimately ceasing to function entirely, all within 18 months after purchase.
It was of such poor quality I was convinced I may have purchased a knock off that somehow made its way into the regular retail channel. I am an office worker, so not the sort of occupation that involves regular jarring or impact that could lead to any damage.
I also have an appreciation for quality and an understanding of the dos and don'ts when it comes to the day to day handling of an expensive time piece. I was very taken aback therefore when upon presenting my watch for warranty repair, I was immediately accused of mishandling.
The service from the appointed distributor was also appalling with staff more concerned about assigning blame than determining the legitimacy of my claim.
In the end after threatening to take the matter to the small claims tribunal, it was returned to be repaired under warranty.
Less than a year later, more problems arose in the form of a free spinning face that I was told was again my fault due to mishandling...a completely baseless assumption. I have been told by the distributors service manager that there's nothing they can do other than refer me to a watch repairer at my own expense. I was informed by a watch repairer "the sky is the limit" in term of repair costs...

I would NEVER recommend this brand to anyone.

I was bought a Ramona Weil watch for my birthday which wasn’t cheap. Only had it for a couple of months when the pin on the watch strap is broken on one side.
Now I have to buy a new one or pay for a new strap all together. What a joke you pay good money for poor quality. The service was good when my partner was paying the money for it. But when you get a faulty product they don’t seem to want to know.
Would give less than one star.

I have had a Raymond Well watch for about three years now and it has been back to the authorized repair four times for bad time keeping, I found out after it came back the first time that the tolerance is -15 to + 5 seconds a day, this for a supposedly precision timepiece, had I known this I would never have touched it, I get better accuracy from the £30 watch that I bought for gardening. I have emailed them three times and have received no response. It is a shame because I like the watch.

Quality Product

Really happy with my recent freelancer skeleton watch from Raymond Weil. Looked at many brands but this came out on top. My little treat to myself during lockdown would highly recommend.

The VERY BEST watch I have ever owned

I have been wearing a Raymond Weil watch everyday for the last 25 years - EVERYDAY - and say it is most definitely the very best watch I have ever owned. My watch has never failed me and it has been exposed to all types of weather and it works perfectly every day - I'd be lost without it!!

18carat Gold Raymond Veil deteriorating and rusty

I bought an 18carat gold watch not long ago, it has since deteriorated, all the gold is coming off and rust started on the metal beneath. The strap keeps braking off and I nearly lost it a few times. Contacted the service centre in the UK where I live and was told to contact Head office as it was not a repair as such, I have photos of the watch which I would like you to see, please send me your email so I can send then to you. I am Robert R. Rizzo FinstSM. MDMI. OBE.

Dont buy raymond crap.
Bought a freelancer rose gold for 3000 pound and after 3 years the crown changed colour and is now yellow gold which does not match the watch rose gold.
Feel
Embarrassing to ware it. Spend a bit more people and buy a tag Breitling or rolex.

RW junk.

My wife bought me a RW for our wedding anniversary. Within a year the bezel just "popped off"! Returned it to Macy's (where she fortunately bought an extended warranty). They sent it out and had it fixed which took 3 months. 3 years later the same thing happened - bezel POPPED off! This time it happened during work and I didn't even notice it missing so the part was lost. Sent the watch to a certified RW dealer and they said bezel is not a part available, have to purchase the WHOLE case. Estimate was $890 for a watch that costs $950 4 years earlier. NEVER BUYING RW AGAIN.

Never again

I just purchased a new RW Tango, with tags and everything. Adjusted the band, felt really well. Used it for one day and then stopped working, took it to the repair shop for a battery replacement, done it. Then 2 hours later stopped working and its been one month later and still in repair... a new Swiss Top Brand watch? I wish I knew all this about this RW brand before. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from this brand, save your money and avoid your headaches. There are much much better options out there.

Famous brand

Famous brand, great watch,..... disgusting service
God knows I don 't lie. I wasn 't going to write this appeal, but.... the worst service I can 't remember.
Two weeks after contacting support - and no response.
Is it Swiss accuracy and reliability?
Does Mr. Bernheim even know how his firm 's support service works?
Shame and disgrace!

Raymond Weil rip off

I bought a top of the range Raymond Weil watch as an anniversary gift to my wife. She wore it for 18 months and suddenly some of the numerals on the dial came loose inside the case. As the warranty only lasts 12 months we sent it for repair to the recommended company who said it needed a whole new dial. It would have cost more than the watch itself. I'll never buy one of their watches again.

I'd give no stars but that's not an option. After I received the watch as a gift (it's supposed to be water resistant) it fogged up. I took it into the place I bought it and they sent it out Raymond Weil who couldn't fix it and they had to give me a new watch. Now I took my watching in for a cleaning and a battery and it needs a new seal so they ordered the seal but Raymond Weil has it on back order. How does a watch manufacturer have any parts of their watch on backorder... I have no idea. But I have been without my watch for a month-and-a-half now, very unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend a Raymond Weil watch if it was the only watch on the planet!!!

Watch stopped working

My RW watch stopped and I assumed it needed a new battery. Jeweller sent it to RW they said it needed complete new works. Paid for that and then condensation started appearing inside just out of warranty.
Has now stopped again but apparently is not the battery. I'm not buying another new movement so going in the bin.
Never buy one of these watches!
