Bought my freelancer from an authorised…

Bought my freelancer from an authorised rw dealer in melb. I was walking in the rain and noticed after I got inside that there was water inside the watch and it began to fog up.
Sent my watch to Raymond Weil in Sydney and they have done a magnificent job repairing it. I went to collect it and they had it all ready for me.
Thanks to the team at Astev for turning my experience around.

Don't buy Raymond Weil watches

Do yourself a favour and buy a different brand.
Literally weeks after the 2 year warranty was over the $1200 watch stopped working and needed a repair for $400.
This is ludacris!!!
I certainly will never buy one again.

Great watch!

I’ve had my lovely two tone strap watch since 2003 and wherever I’ve lived any jeweler shop has replaced the battery for free. Up until early 2019 it worked well but the winder rusted inside and the mechanism had to be replaced. I took the watch to Reeds Jewelers here in GA and they kindly sent it away for a replacement mechanism. The cost was $350 but some 16 weeks later the watch is back and working perfectly. Thank you to Reeds for getting my watch repaired for me.

I love my tango watch

Owned my tango 5860 for over 15 years now and never let me down other than need to change battery. Great quality watch that I love and wear all the time.

The watches by RW bought by first and last time

Bought for my father at the special day at 50 years old.At first time the watches just stopted after 4 month of work. The watches was sent to the distributor, the problem was solved within 3 weeks.
They said that the problem was in the spring and some liquid.
The second time after 10 months of "work" there was condensation on the side of the dial.
There are no questions to the distributor, quality and fast service.
It would be better to buy "Montana" watch, and this watch is a piece of metal with a stamp RW for a £1,000.

Good luck with your choice

Shockingly poor quality

Bought a £1,000 watch 20 months ago. Within a year it had to go back to be repaired, fault with the crown. Now it's had to go back again, same fault, same part, but because it is 13 months since they did the last repair, they refuse to do it under warranty. So now I have to pay £100 to get it mended. Clearly nothing like the quality you would expect from a "luxury Swiss-made watch". Their words not mine, obviously. Never again.

Update: After paying £100 pounds to get it mended, it kept stopping as soon as it was returned to me. They now say there is no warranty on their repairs and they want to charge me a further £180.

Bought my husband a Raymond Weil watch…

Bought my husband a Raymond Weil watch showed condensation in the face was never worn in the shower or swimming.
Set off to Raymond Weil said the move it was corroded new movement $1,800.
12 months later watch stopped working sent back to Raymond Weil their findings were that watch had been dropped and crown damaged allowing dust to enter.
Wanted another thousand dollars to repair.
Sent watch to an independent repair it in Melbourne who found two screws loose repaired cleaned polish eccetera nothing to do with the Crown.
I would not recommend Raymond Weil to anyone.

Very disappointed

My husband bought me my watch for a special birthday four years ago. It is a beautiful watch, I love it, but wasn’t particularly cheap at £1250. Amazingly the battery has lasted for four years so I thought it had done quite well until I was told by the jeweller that my watch needed a complete overhaul at the cost of £150. My problem is that having read all of these very poor reviews, and with the prospect of paying out large sums of money in the future, I’m wondering if my lovely watch is worth it after all! It hasn’t had a hard life so understandably I am very disappointed. RW have had my watch for three weeks already and are now keeping it for another eight weeks, much too long.

RW watch NOT water resistant

Three year old RW watch, supposedly able to withstand 100M of water pressure, never showered or swam with the watch or submerged it, now has water vapor inside the case. Warranty just expired and I’m looking at $600 to repair. Bad product, will be looking elsewhere for my next watch.

Customer service sucks!

I received a Raymond Weil watch as a gift on 10 April 2019. I took it back to the Raymond Weil shop where it was purchased within 24 hours, and asked for a refund. The shop refused to provide the refund because I did not have the receipt and was not the original purchaser, despite knowing the buyer's name and being aware that the watch was in its original packaging and unopened and had been bought only 24 hours before. Disgraceful, grubby, disreputable behaviour!

Love there watches thing that I first…

Love there watches thing that I first loved about them in house movements and owned by a family company that is very rare now as well as value for money, good quality. (If the company was older I think people would appreciate them more)

I bought my watch about a year and half…

I bought my watch about a year and half ago. From the very start it was gaining 3-4 minutes per week. Sent back to NY for service and adjustment. Got it back and it's still gaining time. Now it recently fogged up on the inside when it's supposed to be a water proof dive watch.

Very disapointed in my watch!

More than one screw loose.

I was initially disappointed when the leather strap fell apart after just two years of light wear and surprised by the £190 replacement cost. Without wanting to commit to annual watch repairs of £85 (assuming all of their leather straps are all of equally poor quality), I purchased a metal bracelet instead.

Now I'm continually being reminded that the metal bracelet is of equally poor quality everytime yet another screw works its way loose and starts cutting into my wrist. I have stopped bothering the jewellers that fitted the bracelet, although they are the most remarkably helpful people, I have now ordered some jeweller's screwdrivers and loctite.

In fairness to Raymond Weil they offered to collect the watch and replace the bracelet with another poor quality bracelet, which is pointless.

Low end watches at medium range prices.

Fogged inside the bezel

Expensive watch that fogged up on the inside of the bezel a few months after buying new. It was repaired then less than a year started digging again. Piece of junk. No other watch cheap and expensive I bought in 40 years ever fogged. Stay away from this brand.

Worst watch ever

My RW watch stopped working and sent it back to RW. It took 3 months and watch still doesn’t work. So disappointed. 2 years ago same thing happened and they gave me a new watch and now this one is bad too.

Awful watch

Awful watch. Has been repaired once because it just stopped working and now, a year later, the roman numerals have fallen off and are floating under the watch face! Still under guarantee but RW refuse to repair under guarantee and want over £300 to repair. Watch is less than 2 years old. So disappointed. I would never buy another RW product.

Sent my watch to customer service …

Sent my watch to customer service center in NYC in on April 5th. Was told today 7/7 by customer service rep I only paid on June 5th and it takes 4-6 weeks to do work, so it should be 2 more weeks. It took almost 8 weeks to get an initial estimate, which came only after I called with inquiry. Very frustrating, not a good experience with what should be a a high end watch retailer. Would not recommend to anyone.
