Raymour & Flanigan - Baltimore Pike Reviews 

We visited the Baltimore Pike Store in Springfield, Pa. on 8/26/2026. We met Matt Rispo. Matt is a very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly young Man. Kind of "old school". After our initial conversation, Matt let my Wife and I roam the store. There was no pressure nor pushiness. If we had a question, I tracked Matt down and he gave us the answer then let us be. After some browsing, we found what we liked. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and Matt made it even better.

I’m 2 months new to the area. After a horrible moving experience, I ended up needing all furniture for my new house, which means living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom. I purchased it all from R&F. It’s beautiful, all made of solid wood, and great price! Wouldn’t think (or DREAM) of going elsewhere for my furniture! Jaime and Matt were both spectacular to work with!!! Love R&F!!!

MY DAUGHTER AND I ENTERED THE BALTIMORE AVENUE LOCATION ON YESTERDAY AND WAS GREETED BY SHANNON (MALE). I HAVE NOT BEEN TO ANY OF THE COMPANIES STORES IN YEARS BUT SEEM TO REMEMBER A LIKE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SAME REP...WHICH PROMPTS ME TO TAKE A MIN TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. I AM AN EDUCATED LADY AND NO SLOB BUT A NOVICE IN FURNITURE JARGON. I WAS LOOKING FOR A MATTRESS FOR MY GUEST ROOM FOR MY DAUGHTER'S USE WHEN SHE CAME TO MY HOUSE TO REHAB. I LET HIM KNOW OF HER UPCOMING KNEE SURGERY. SHANNON ASKED ME WHAT PRICE RANGE I HAD IN MIND AND HE RUDELY BLURTED OUT 'NO SUCH THING AS AS INEXPENSIVE AS POSSIBLE WITH QUALITY' WHEN I RESPONDED THAT...AND HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT 1,000. I SAID WELL SHOW ME YOUR LEAST EXPENSIVE MATTRESSES AND WELL GO FROM THERE. HE MARATHONED ME AND MY DAUGHTER TRAILING WITH A BAD LEG...FOR WHAT SEEMED A QUARTER MILE...IT IS A BIG STORE THAT I HAVE ENJOYED AND PURCHASED THOUSANDS FROM, BUT, SHANNON'S LACK OF CONSIDERATION WAS ASTOUNDING AND I AM NOT YOUNG EITHER.
HE CONTINUED HIS RUDENESS WHEN WE FINALLY REACHED THE AREA BY PRETENDING HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE KIND OF FRAME I WAS ASKING ABOUT...JUST NOT SOEAKING ENGLISH FOR HIM...SMH. THEREFORE HE RAN US TO ANOTHER AREA OF THE STORE WHERE AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION HE FINALLY FESSED UP TO UNDERSTANDING WHAT I WAS ASKING ABOUT BUT ONLY AFTER MY DAUGHTER PULLED UP A PICTURE OF THE PLATFORM FRAME. I FINALLY HAD HAD ENOUGH AND SAID I WAS LEAVING. HE WALKED AWAY...JUST WALKED AWAY NO THANK YOU..BLAH...BLAH...
WE WERE NOTHING HE OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT...BUT...YOU CAN'T LOOK AT PEOPLE AND TELL THEIR CREDIT WORTH...THEIR BANK ACCOUNT OR WHO THEY ARE FINANCIALLY...BUT IN A STORE LIKE YOURS...IT SHOULD NOT MATTER BC WE ALL SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS AND NOT MADE TO FEEL LIKE OUR MONEY DOES NOT SPEND GREEN BC OF THE SALESMAN'S CRITIQUE BUT EVEN MORE THAN THAT WE SHOULD KNOW WE WILL BE TREATED WELL WHILE IN YOUR STORE, NO MATTER WHAT A SALESPERSON'S BIASES ARE.
IS SHANNON THE FACE YOUR STORE WANTS PEOPLE TO SEE?

I had a wonderful experience all because of Melissa. She was a great help and took her time with me. I was in the store previously and the gentleman who created me could not be bothered. Told me that the sofa a wanted only came in one fabric, that was on display. Luckily, I returned, Melissa informed me that the sofa I liked came with many options. Melissa went above and beyond. I will only deal with her from now on.

Mark was so helpful and very friendly with my mom and granddaughter. I told him I would be back again looking for a coffee table.

The sales person was very helpful, he helped me to make a decision quickly. I really appreciate that.

I was greeted when I came in the door. The salesman (Shannon Richardson) took me to the area of the store that I was interested in. With no pressure I was allowed to wander around the store and found what I was looking for.

Rob was very helpful helping me to select a recliner. No pressure which I like. Ladies at customer service also very nice and friendly

I placed my order over the phone, the gentleman who took my order could not have been any better, He was very professional, and knowledgeable. The order over the phone could not have been any easier. Thank you I am pleased.

We've been shopping at R&F for a very long time. Our go to guy Is Bruce Copperman and has been for some
time.

Matt helped us find the couch we wanted, gave us multiple choices of colors types etc.

Loving my reclining furniture. It's comfortable sturdy and lovely in my home.

Bruce was fantastic. He answered all of my questions, explained the differences of the items I was looking at and allowed me to make my decision on my time.

Approve your warranty protection program.It really sucks. We purchased a table set from you guys.The seats ripped.I was told it wasn't covered with the insurance that I bought.Then, I told I was told it was. Then, after six months, they finally sent me new stools for the table set. And they were in worse shape than the ones I was trying to have you take back. A very horrible service.

The salespersons were very Kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Helped with the delivery order to another address.

Raymour & Flanigan makes a great first impression. They sit you down, show you the technology, measure and fit your rooms, and make everything feel seamless—right up until you pay. Then everything falls apart.

Furniture didn’t arrive on time, communication was a mess, and I was asked to be available early on a Sunday for delivery, only for things to still not go as planned. At one point, they actually owed me money, but resolving that turned into a nightmare because their “systems were down.”

Instead of clear answers, I was passed around to multiple corporate contacts when simple, straightforward communication would have solved everything. What should have been easy turned into a three-month battle just to get a refund.

I spent a lot of money here, and the lack of accountability, poor logistics, and frustrating customer service ensured I never will again.
