THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE RE WARRANTY CLAIM
I went to the store to redeem a store credit that I was told I was entitled to receive as a result of a claim I submitted regarding a damaged chair.
There were two separate in-person visits by a Raymour technician. The first visit, which occurred approximately in November 2025, was an attempt to repair the chair. Unfortunately, the repair did not resolve the problem.
Following the second visit by a Raymour technician in May 2026, I was advised that the chair was not repairable. I was further advised that, under the manufacturer’s warranty, I was entitled to either a store credit or a replacement chair.
Despite being advised that I was entitled to a store credit, when I went to the store to redeem it, the store refused to honor the credit and instructed me to contact the service department.
I subsequently contacted customer support, and I was asked to provide photographs showing the chair’s current condition. I provided the requested photographs on August 23, 2026. Raymour’s service department then accused me of submitting the exact same photographs that I had previously provided when I initially reported the claim. This was incorrect. The photographs submitted on August 23 were new photographs showing the chair’s current condition.
On August 27, 2026, I submitted additional photographs to further document the chair’s condition. As of this date, I have received no response.
