Online challenge, but great human support!
We had a bit of an issue with an online purchase - the website offered 36 month interest-free financing, and we applied and were approved - but then it was not clear how to apply this at checkout. However, when we called customer support we were immediately put in touch with a representative at our local store, who processed the order for us and his service was excellent. So I would give 3 stars for the online experience, but 5+ for the sales representative!

A Remarkable Experience with Store Manager Dale
Having been loyal customers of Raymour & Flanigan for more than fifteen years, my wife and I have always held high expectations for the level of service and reliability associated with their brand. So, when a recent experience with the delivery warehouse fell short (Poughkeepsie Service Center. 260 Titusville Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) - delivering less than promised and leaving us without the items we’d anticipated—we were understandably disappointed and frustrated with the lack of indifference shown for their mistake. Years of smooth shopping had built a sense of trust, making this lapse feel all the more significant.
Instead of allowing our frustration to fester, we chose to return to the store where we had originally purchased our items and to speak directly with someone about the situation. We walked in and were greeted warmly as usual by the sales team, and we asked to speak to a manager.
If you ever need a reminder of what genuine, above-and-beyond customer service looks like, look no further than Dale, the store manager we dealt with. After explaining to Dale, the issue with the warehouse and the delivery mishap with our order. Dale stepped in with remarkable poise and empathy, transforming what began as a setback into a moment that reaffirmed our confidence in the company.
From the outset, Dale listened attentively to our concerns, never making excuses but instead focusing on finding a solution. It was clear that customer satisfaction is more than just a catchphrase to Dale—it's a core value.
What really stood out was Dale's proactive approach. Rather than leaving me in limbo waiting for the warehouse to resolve the issue, Dale personally checked the store’s inventory and coordinated with his team to track down the item I needed. Not only did Dale locate a substitute that matched our expectations but arranged for expedited pick up ensuring that we were inconvenienced, as little as possible.
In an age where customer service can sometimes feel impersonal, Dale’s actions were a breath of fresh air. Dale and his teams commitment to resolving the situation, clear communication, and willingness to go the extra mile truly made all the difference. Thanks to Dale, what could have been a frustrating ordeal became a testament to the power of exceptional service.
On a side note, our initial sales rep was named Ivan, a phenomenal and knowledgeable sales individual who was patient with us during our initial purchase. If you're in that store seek him out!
I cannot recommend working with Dale enough. If you’re looking for someone who truly puts customers first and handles challenges with grace and determination, Dale is the manager you want by your side. I am incredibly grateful for their help and will certainly be returning for future purchases!
