Raymour & Flanigan - Valley Stream Reviews 

I placed an order on Saturday June 1,2024 which was supposed to be delivered on Thursday June 6, 2024 but waited all day and it wasn’t delivered. So I called the store/ Customer Service only to be told that my order was cancelled. No one has even gotten in touch with me and to top it off the service i got was really poor. I expect better Customer Service.

The salesman Mr. Stacie was fantastic and patient with my wife and I. Thank you for a great experience.

The reps were great and helped me put pieces together. The shipping was fast and service was done very professional.

I purchased a ryker chair and was told I can pick up next day just to find out that the warehouse was closed. I then went on Friday to pick up my merchandise and received it out of the box. It was not my choice. If I was receiving out of the box merchandise I should have been told that in the store. I am not sure if it is a floor sample, if people sat on it or if it was used and returned. It should be my choice if I wanted an out of the box purchase. I then called the store and I was told that should have been discussed in the store and it wasn't with the sales rep. He and I never had that discussion. I was direct when I said I needed the chair for Saturday being mislead was not a part of my plan and I am very disappointed with Raymour & Flanigan again!!!!

The woman I spoke with was patient and considerate and wonderfully helpful.

Marsha was excellent, she took the time to advise and layout all my buying options. She went above and beyond to make sure this customer was satisfied; I’m extremely appreciative.

Excellent customer service. Staff is courteous, knowledgeable. Readily offered assistance with selecting items, yet gives you freedom to browse without pressure. I’ve purchased several items at this location and will surely shop there as well as recommend family & friends. Mr Mira is outstanding.

It was my fourth experience buying from the Raymour & Flanigan, Valley Stream, NY location. The first representative Michelle P. was patient and understanding to my needs while I was in the store (December 2023). Even when I made an online purchase for my son (March 2024) and I was having difficulties with my delivery, Michelle was still "the go to person," with a call. On Tuesday, 4/09/2024, Customer Service Representative Ben added the icing to the cake because Michelle wasn't available, and I needed help asap. Although I didn't make my final purchase until Sunday, 4/14/2024, Ben was still ready to answer my questions. He was patient while I tried to make up my mind on my purchase (as my made various phone calls to my husband). Ben finally sealed the deal as I made my purchase. NOTE: Thanks to the Manager on Sunday, too, for putting a smile on my face while my children and waited - as I was hungry and tired after church. (I forgot the name on his badge). Thanks to you all! Mario was so helpful and made our search for a couch and mattress so easy! I wasn’t expect to make such a quick decision, however, we were very satisfied by Mario’s assistance and of course with our purchase!

The representative that helped my son and I Elaine White was very helpful. She took the time to explain the packages to us and she was also very nice.

Sales rep efficient

We purchased the Gannon bed in July 2022 and in January 2024 the bed broke. They came to fix the bed two times and ultimately they decided to give us a credit to purchase another bed. Obviously, we are really skeptical about getting the same bed but also do not want to get a bed that doesn't match our current bedroom set. We were also told that since we are getting a new bed under the Platinum Protection plan the new bed will not be covered under the plan. The new bed will only have a one year manufacturer warranty. You can just imagine how our fear has grown exponentially from hearing this news. We always viewed Raymour as a company with the best quality furniture, so when we purchased our first home we wanted to get the best of the best. We are pretty disappointed. We have purchased furniture from other companies for half the price and it has lasted for 10 + years.

Follow up, they let me upgrade the bed and told me to pay the difference. Little did I know I will still be charged an additional $170 delivery, at this point this is exhausting an ridiculous!

Delivery was quick and easy. Workers were pleasant and efficient.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I've always only shopped at Raymour and it's never much different, always helpful, kind, understanding people and they do help you out with getting what you need within your price range.
