Excellent service

I got an instant quote, was called the next day as when I did the quote it was late evening.

Got asked a few questions, gave me a date, driver called before to tell me he was on his way.
Very quick getting car and taking documents.

Received cash a few hours after.

Would definetley recommend!

I had a great experience with Red Pen…

I had a great experience with Red Pen Ltd Scrap Car Specialist. Ati was absolutely brilliant from start to finish – friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the whole process. Everything was explained clearly and the service was quick and hassle-free. Do not trust these people..Absolute…

Do not trust these people..Absolute waste of time. Had a car to be picked up and specified that it would need a small vehicle to collect as down a narrow farm lane which they confirmed was fine. After they didn’t show on the first confirmed collection date I rebooked and again no show, call or message, 3rd collection date they sent an 8 car transporter!! 3 weeks later the car is still on the drive.

I wasted all day waiting for someone to collect my car.
I called to company a few times to get an updates, but nothing.
Wasted day of my precious life.

Car due to be collected between 08.00…

Car due to be collected between 08.00 and 17.00 . After my three phone calls where I was told the collection was due, no- one answered calls from the dispatch office.
They were a no show, phoned the following day and offered to come the next day ( 2 days late) Disappointing and a waste of my time.

So far so good, collection was on time, the driver Damario was very polite, helpful, advised I would be paid by Monday (Friday today) advised what to do next.

Waited in all day and nobody showed up

Waited in all day and nobody showed up. I called and was told its not cancelled but she will speak to dispatch, put me on hold and the went to answer phone. I would have given 0 stars if i could. Awful customer service.

Positive experience

Positive experience with Redcorn, offered a competitive price, turned up on time to collect, good communication, payment by next morning. The driver Azz/Aaron was very good and a credit to the company.

From 1st Contact to Payment being made, 72 hours. What a Fab Service.

From The moment I contacted Redcorn to obtain a quote for my old Jaguar x type to the moment payment hit my account was around 72 hours. IMO, the service from start to finish was excellent and they did exactly what it said on the tin. Additionally, the driver that arrived to collect my car having contacted me when he was 30 minutes out was super efficient and loaded the Jag onto the double decker car transporter with no fuss at all. This firm are a top outfit and I would definitely use them again in the future. 10/10 Guys. Thank you.

Don't give them your phone number

I have 40 missed calls from them in four days.

They are absolutely spamming me after I submitted an enquiry. I even asked them to stop but the calls keep coming.

Go away.

Going The Extra Mile

Damario made this an efficient, easy and friendly service. Because of low trees in the cars location we had to push the car up a slope on to the road where the transporter was. I imagine there are those that would have said..'Sorry, cant do this'. Damario just got straight on it. Thank you

Order 5295

Order 5295. Ordered on the 25/08/2025. Now 09/09/2025. Still waiting. Nissan Note space saver tyre and parcel shelf. Told to come in 3 days after 28/08. Nothing. Instead they had a tyre that was not MOT worthy. Came in from Hounslow twice, this time for a refund. We’ll see. Pathetic service. Can understand why their Trust Pilot rating is so low. Nobody cares. Making too much money to be considerate to the little guys is what I think.

Positive collection experience but room for improvement in communications

Aaron (Azz), Redcorn's collection driver, was polite and efficient. He represented the company well, as did the person who first called me to book a collection slot. There is however room for improvement in communications with the call centre. The lady I spoke to in the call centre was only able to tell me that my message that the car would need jump starting and an afternoon pick up (due to parking restrictions) had been passed on, but was unable to reassure me that the person picking up would take these things into account. As a customer it felt as though the call centre took no responsibility for what the collection team did which didn't leave a good impression. As a result I spent the morning wondering if the Redcorn collection driver would turn up before receiving a lunchtime call telling me that the lovely Aaron (who kindly jump started my car and used my V5C form to inform the DVLA immediately that I had sold on the car) was half an hour away! I need not have worried as my experience of Redcorn from thereon was great, but I agree with other reviewers that communication between back office and collection teams needs improvement. I would have given a 5* review for Aaron (and his boss Stuart) in the collection team, but have deducted 1* for communication issues. On balance I would use this company again. I hope the promised payment for my car comes through on time.
