Just a fantastic experience
fantastic from start to the remote arriving with me. I thought my old Cambridge Audio Amp was heading to the recycle centre, the remote was playing up and made using the amp very difficult. a replacement was not available from Cambridge audio then I spotted this on a google search, It was easy to select the remote I needed from the website, with a picture of the original unit to compare. I selected the UPS for delivery and didn't expect it to arrive on time at Christmas. It was actually due the day before! but a serious road traffic accident blocked access to my house for over three hours. Thinking my delivery would be left till after Christmas but the next day at 08:30 the remote was delivered. Works far better than the original, so I am very happy.

Very happy with the products I received, they contacted me after placing the order to make sure they would send me the correct remote control for our tv. Great service, but only thing was that it took a couple of weeks between ordering it, to it being sent, so give yourself plenty of time if you are getting one as a present for someone.

Despite of a "bumpy order" (partly our fault) I have to give five stars.. Very Poor Customer Service Experience
Very disappointing experience with their customer service. Before purchasing the remote I checked with them if the remote was correct of which they confirmed it was for my streaming device. The remote would not work upon arrival. I contacted Remote Control World to ask for help and they offered instructions on how to solve the issue. None of their solutions helped in this circumstance and I can only think that either the unit is faulty or it is incorrect for my system. Because of their slow replies I am past the 30 day PayPal window and cannot claim on this. The company have advised that I can return for a refund but this would be at my own cost which is 75% of the cost of the remote. They will only refund the cost of return postage if a fault is found. So that risk is being left on me and I would stand to lose out. This isn't how customer service should be. I have asked for a different solution or guarantee that postage would be refunded upon return but have not had a response from them. If this was a return due to my own choice then the return offered is correct but this is due to an item that is not functioning on my system as it is supposed to. I would not recommend using this company and feel very angry at their poor treatment of me as a customer. Slow replies and a failure to try and offer a middle ground. Look elsewhere if you need replacement remotes!
UPDATE: Since my review I was contracted by their head of customer care. This person was much better in their support for me and the product and a satisfactory outcome was gained straight away. This should have been the initial response 2 months ago. Many thanks to Ondrej for swiftly helping resolve this one.

I had placed an order for a remote control from the company.
Unfortunately — largely due to my own mistake, as I later realized — I ordered the wrong remote. (I’d rather not detail what exactly I messed up, because it’s quite embarrassing.)
I reported the issue, but it couldn’t be resolved at first, most likely because I hadn’t explained the problem thoroughly enough. After several additional exchanges, Mr. Ondrej from the company assisted me, and together we figured out which remote would be the most suitable for me.
