Unhelpfull

I purchased a Chromebook and paid for express delivery. The delivery date given was when I was going to be at home. I log on to find the delivery date has changed, so I contact Renew to change the delivery address as the product has not been. Shipped.
Was told they couldn't change the delivery address, which is strange as other companies can, especially since the product had not been shipped.
So, product arriving when not home, so I asked for it to be delivered the following day, when I would be at home. No, I was told, can't chamge them delivery date
So now it will sit in the post office and be returned as I am not able to receive it.
Great customer service.
Well done

ABSOLUTE SCAM

AVOID AVOID AVOID 🚨
I returned a refurbished laptop I bought through Wowcher due to its poor condition — missing rubber seals and dangerously loose hinges. I paid for express delivery, but it arrived late. I didn’t even turn the device on, just repackaged it and returned it immediately via DHL Next Day Delivery. I have full proof it was delivered.
Despite this, I’ve been told the item wasn't received, and I’m still out of pocket with no refund. I’ve since been blocked from emailing the company, and Wowcher is taking no responsibility either. This is unacceptable. I’ve done everything right and am now being ignored. I’ll be escalating this further.
Avoid this company and think twice before ordering through Wowcher.

Can we give minus numbers?

I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give minus numbers. Purchased a Grade B Apple Watch via Wowcher. What arrived looked like it matched the Grade C description and needed a Battery Service. No checkout or purchase confirmation. No delivery tracking provided. Item returned. Took about a month and the suggestion of legal action before any refund was forthcoming. They do not appear to be registered with Companies House and no Company Legal information on their website.

SCAMMERS!

SCAMMERS!
After the most horrendous service. My chromebooks arrived 5 minutes ago and it’s falling apart. It won’t even turn on!
I paid £12 speedy delivery and the company didn’t even send me confirmation, tracking details..nothing for 4 day! I had to email several times for a response from wowcher which was them telling me that the item I ordered wasn’t available! I had to wait a week to get this matter resolved and not the items come completely not working. Absolute scammers!!!

Purchased a ‘refurbished’ Apple Watch…

Purchased a ‘refurbished’ Apple Watch via Wowcher. It arrived with scratches all over it, it was stinking dirty and generally in a right state.
I sent it back because I decided to buy a new one and I’m still chasing and waiting for a refund.
I would avoid at all costs

3 days late

3 days late. Refurbished series 4 Apple Watch battery only lasted 9 hours. Frightened to return after hearing all the horror stories over lack of refunds. 1st and last time I shop on Wowcher.

Scammers

Safe to say they are indeed like the plague. Please avoid them by all means. They send faulty items and when you request for a refund they lie about refund duration in order to buy time so that they send you a replacement item.
Even after rejecting the replacement they still wouldn’t refund.
After 2 months of being lied to,
I had to file in a formal complaint to wowcher and threatened to escalate the issue to resolver in order to get my refund.
Complete rip off and wowcher is well aware .
Please avoid them

Scam artists

Scam artists, plain and simple. They will take your money, send you broken products, and refuse to refund over all kinds of stupid reasons. Avoid like the plague. They should not be trading.

I see the same scam from them time and again. 1) provide awful product, 2) process return, 3) delay refund, 4) send unwanted replacement which you are advised to reject, 5) replacement goes missing after rejecting and no refund.

Complete thieving scum

Unreliable and poor-quality items

Unreliable and poor-quality items!

The Apple watch series 4 brought via Wowcher was in a poor condition and not what was advertised. It was supposed to be a ‘grade B’ item, but the packaging was labelled ‘grade C’. In addition, there were lots of scratches all over the watch face.

I emailed them that I wanted a refund and that this item was not as described. They attempted to persuade me to get a replacement, but I was suspicious and could not be sure it would be of the correct grade or quality. As the watch was supposed to be a birthday present for my mum, and I didn't want to give her a watch that was covered in scratches.

I told them I wanted a full refund several times and even ensured they understood this. I sent the item back with my own money through Royal Mail’s signed-for service so I could get proof of their receipt. They received the item, and I verified this in an email, with photographic evidence. I told them again that I wanted a refund and followed up on this a few days later that they were processing it.

Yesterday, I received a notification that I was getting a package from the same merchant through the Royal Mail.
I emailed them asking why they sent me another watch when made it clear to them on multiple occassions that I wanted a cash refund.
They told me to refuse the package so it will go back to them, then I'd have to wait another 2 weeks for a refund.

I believe the merchant is deliberately ignoring my refund requests so they do not have to return the money. Judging by other Trustpilot reviews, many other customers have had similar issues of receiving faulty / low-quality items and not getting a refund when they complain and return the item.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

If I could give less than one star I would. Bought an Apple Watch, waited weeks, was told it had been sent, given a fake tracking number, then told, after chasing it numerous times, watch wasn’t in stock. Requested refund. Chased this, weeks have gone by, now told it’s been delivered. This should have been cancelled, this was agreed. I was told the refund was going through, another lie. Now trying to find where watch was delivered to so I can return it. They need to supply prepaid postage also.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Purchased from wowcher. Sent a broken laptop, pretended not to have the item back. (It was tracked at my expense) and now saying i have to wait over 2 weeks for a refund.
I'm not doing it. I will be reporting their company very soon and contacting my bank because they are fraudsters.
They should be banned.

Bought a notebook for this company as…23 July

Bought a notebook for this company as was saw huge saving from the original price as looked like new,yes you can still get bargains some times.so snapped one up.had to pay a extra almost ten quid for pnp on top. Videos of a new one advertised Not told about either looked into it to find out it's refurbished lovely pictures on wowcher of a perfect new item, within less than a hour of purchase I cancelled or tried too. Got messages about transaction details and the other things to find out they posted it later on the same day that I cancelled it being prior to finding out it was refurbished excited looking at it. That's when I sort of seen the small print refurbished as soon as I saw that emailed to to cancel it .they posted it on the same day so obviously received my email, lots of questions proof of purchase and the rest today they said it was posted, and I could refuse to take it from royal mail.question is if I refuse it where's the proof I did refuse to take it and the seller received it back.i cancelled the order within a hour of buying it.foundvout on this site that there horrible people to deal with and to get refunded from, but woucher keep working with them.no idea what to do

Biggest scam of a “company” I have ever encountered, lying about refunds, lying to customers/ other companies, ignoring emails, awful customer service, sending products/ appliances that do not work, additional hidden fees and scamming out of money. Awful.

Absolutely joke of a company

Absolutely joke of a company.
Bought an I watch through wowcher.. advertised as grade B. First watch.. battery lasted 7hrs.. sent back for a replacement (at my cost) second watch came, 3 weeks later.. 5hr battery life.. asked for a refund.. out of my 30day warranty even though I’d had the watch for about 3 days.. had another replacement sent.. well.. it looked like it had been run over.. I can cope with a few scratches.. I expect it.. but this was an absolute joke. Clearly not a grade B and they said it was grade C.. so not providing what I purchased. Contacting my bank and trading standards. Disgusting company.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with

In all my years of internet shopping, this company are hands down the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Purchased an Apple Watch 17/4/25, this was delivered a week late, the wrong colour and in horrific condition so was returned the day after it arrived, they signed for it on the 9/5/25 and I am still waiting for my refund 6 weeks on! Wowcher are equally as useless and all they do is pass me back to their “trusted seller”. I never write reviews but this company are an absolute joke, to provide such a poor level of service in 2025 is inexcusable.

Satisfied Customer!

I bought an Acer Chromebook via Wowcher for my grandson. It was delivered sooner than expected and was packaged well. I was very happy with it apart from the adaptor cable was an American one. I tried ringing but could not get through so I emailed instead. They promptly got back to me. I had to send a picture of the cables that came with the Chromebook and within a couple of days I had received a UK adaptor. I was so pleased with it that I bought another 3 for my other grandchildren who are all very happy! I have read the other reviews but I can only speak from experience and mine was a very satisfactory one. I gave 4 instead of 5 because I couldn't get through via telephone but that is not unusual these days!
