Plumber did not turn up

Booked a job for a plumber
I emailed a request for the plumbers details (as any security wise person would) - the reply I received was they could not give out those details?
I decided to phone the office and they gave me the name.
I waited for the plumber and he did not turn up and no one bothered letting me know. I phoned the office but there was no answer.
The next morning I get a call from the office saying we received a missed call from yesterday I explained that no one turned up for the appointment, she put me on hold then asked if i wanted another appointment, no sorry or anything.
