Efficient courteous and good cars, just no fancy office. Handover done in car park itself. Since this is best value in town, a fancy office is neither here nor there. Great value.

Rent.it reservation not honored by car rental company
Our reservation with Rent.it was not honored by Alamo in San Diego, US. Apparently, the reservation was only valid for a non-US resident.
Strangely enough, the reservation process required our address and country of residence to be entered. We were stuck at the airport rental just before midnight with the Alamo manager offering us a comparable rental for more than double the price. Needless to say, Rent.it did not reply to my request to refund the down payment. Not worth the trouble as it's impossible to verify what the rules are ahead of time.
